In very short order, our salads were presented and they were delicious. The lettuce and vegetables were all very fresh, not the sad looking stuff you frequently see at other restaurants mid winter. Even the croutons were delicious, light and with just the right amount of crispness. Next came our pizzas piping hot. We both loved them .They came on a thin cracker type crust, my favorite, sauce was sparingly applied but tasty, and the Italian sausage on my pizza had wonderful flavor with just a light kick to it. The jalapeños even had some crunch to them, which tells me, they were fresh. Then of course, the mozzarella cheese was plentiful on top of everything. All you need to add is some white onion, pickles and lettuce. Some add a tomato, but that's not my thing. Also, just like when I enjoy a fried Pork Tenderloin, I upgrade to fries. Chips just don't do it for me. The service is always top notch. The ladies working are always so friendly. They make everyone feel comfortable while dining. Jimmy taught his staff well. We had one slice and sent it back because neither one of us wanted it to take home- it was that bad. We both agreed that the BBQ pizza was also lacking, but at least my boyfriend was able to finish it. The iced tea was not that good either, so I switched to a soda. I am still very open to trying Peel again in the future, but no more Peel pizzas for me. Also, if you have the choice, do not sit at a high-top because the metal chairs are freezing cold.
