This is my first time using a tree service, but I had an ornamental tree in my front yard that needed quite a bit of work. This company is GREAT. Extremely professional and priced very fairly. My tree was completed on-time and it looks fantastic. Highly recommend them - and will be using them again myself! read more

Leo came out the same day for an estimate, quickly corresponded via email and the staff was super flexible about scheduling and answering questions. The day of my tree removal, the crew arrived early and had the tree down in about an hour. I could tell these were people with a lot of experience. They cleaned the yard of branches and sawdust and were overall super efficient and conscientious about the work. My old dead tree was rotten and I am so glad they did this work at a fair price. They weren't the lowest bid but they were the easiest to communicate with and the fastest, and I'm glad I went with them. read more

I hate calling a business to get no answer. I am truly upset if people are late and don't keep appointments. When I called Arborgreen not only did a very pleasant and charming girl, Yami, pick up on the fourth ring, she quickly found out what I needed and introduced me to the President and owner, Leo. Leo, a very soft spoken gentleman promised to come over in 30 minutes. He was there in 25. He surveyed the site and phoned in a estimate. A contract was emailed within 24 hours. With the price he quoted, we did not need much prodding to sign. Work began on the promised date with a very safe and competent crew, and some truly impressive equipment. The best and heaviest I have seen. 8 hours later 1 humungous tree which was leaning precariously over the property, and four smaller trees were chopped down, chewed up and gone. The roof, landscaping and gutters were blown clean and all over hanging branches trimmed. Arborgreen has active Workmen's Compensation and Liability Insurance. I called their Insurance carrier to confirm. That's added peace of mind because this is very dangerous work. I couldn't be happier with the superlative job done, the excellent price and the professional clean up. I would highly recommend Arborgreen for any tree cutting service you may have! And yes, I would hire them again without the slightest hesitation! Thank you Leo and Yami for a job well done! read more

The wood I ordered was delivered on time, by a courteous and friendly employee who stacks the wood neatly in my backyard. The price was very competitive and the wood looks to be of excellent quality. It blue criticism is they left some wood chip debris from offloading the truck and should have been swept up, but this was really minor in the overall picture. I highly recommend this company. read more

Arborgreen is by far the best tree service out there! The guy's had come out to remove the tree the very next day after looking at it. Since Arborgreen has an outstanding reputation and own their own crane they absolutely had been my choice for the job. I was worried about the removal of the tree because there was many large limbs over my roof and the neighbors roof and in order to do this safely and carefully using a crane was the best option. In the end I couldn't be happier with the entire crew and the work they had done. Thanks guy's you are the greatest! read more

These are the professionals that you need to prune trees. Leo was most courteous and stopped by to give me an estimate the day after I called. Would highly recommend! read more

This is a great company. Leo is extremely knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with and has a great crew. I am a long time customer and Leo has helped us out with extensive tree trimming, emergency limb removal, tree selection and planting and most recently the removal of a gigantic willow very close to our house (with root grinding). It was huge and difficult job that required precision and expertise. They did an amazing job from start to finish. Price was more than fair. Highly recommended. read more

we had a very old Maple Tree that had to be removed, stump and all. Their estimate was very reasonable and competitive. The day of the job they were prompt and efficient. The work was completed very efficiently. And when they left, it was like they had never been there. Would use them again. Wish all suppliers were this good and reliable read more

Arborgreen is a joy from booking all the way through clean up. We started with a friendly smart consultation on scope of work. We were scheduled quickly and the crew were careful with our grounds, friendly and accurate with their work. 100% great experience. read more

I highly recommend Arborgreen tree service. Leo came out immediately and understood my problem with a tree. His quote was very reasonable and I scheduled for the next day. The workers were friendly, efficient and thorough in trimming and removing debris. I will definitely use them again. read more

Super easy to work with, and always respond in a timely manner! Highly recommend them!

Excellent service. Professional and knowledgeable with proper equipment that insures safe and responsible work.

Hired this service for tree removal and stump grinding. Pricing was reasonable. They coordinated well with the power company to shut off power during the tree removal because power lines were near the tree. Timely and excellent quality work. read more

I've used Arborgreen a couple times for tree trimming. The first time was quick, efficient and reasonable. The second time was a disaster. They came to remove a dead trunk and trim around a power line. So far so good. Then they also surprised me by removing a bunch of healthy branches lower down on a the live trunk. Branches that I was in the process of training. Branches that were still tied with twine and staked out to keep them horizontal. The guys just cut the twine, and then cut the branches. read more

I get my firewood from them, and it's great quality for a reasonable price. Scheduling a date and time with them is super easy, and they always show up on time, stack the wood wherever I want it, and clean up after themselves. read more

A+ SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM AND FOLLOW-UP! About 20 minutes after my husband called Leo, he was here to assess the splitting and creaking linden tree that was threatening to fall on our or our neighbors house. It took another 20 minutes to get his crew, two cranes, and a chipper shredder to our house. And about 90 minutes later, the tree was cut down (we could see splits all the way through the trunk and a base that had rotted out!), the crew cleaned up the street and sidewalk, and they took off just as it became too dark to work. Today, they were back to remove the stump and cart off the big pieces of the trunk. WOW! Arborgreen Tree Service rocks! read more

Stay away! I received an online confirmation for my estimate appointment, which turned out to mean nothing. "We don't do online appointments," so I was told on the phone after a no-show. Then after a reschedule, no-show again next day. Speechless... If you don't want my business, please don't pretend to set up an appointment. read more

Had a very difficult to access and HEAVY tree behind our garage and these guys did a great job removing it without disturbing the surrounding garden. They were originally recommended to us by the owner of WARD Mfg which is just down the street. read more

This place has great prices. The reason I think they're busy and things like that is because their prices are good. A lot of places will charge you $1,000 $2,000 or so. This place has really good prices under $1,000. But you do have to call them a couple of times. They'll come and they'll do a great job. You basically just need to remind them maybe a couple of times. And then you know I'm sure because they were swamped with business that they probably couldn't get to the yard. So you know once they got there they did a good job of getting rid of the vast majority of everything. But you know if you're looking for some company that has good prices they'll do it. And they'll do a good job of it. Be patient and they'll get to you. read more

Leo is great - got a quote fast and they were here within a few days to do the work. Instead of charging me to trim a tree in our parkway he suggested I call the city to have them take care of it. I didn't even know that was an option and it saved me a bunch of money. read more

Leo and his crew are wonderful. They arrived and trimmed all of the trees in my backyard with a high degree of efficiency. The crew was wonderful. Absolutely, positively, the best tree removal service I could have asked for! They were hard-working, kind, considerate of my property, highly proficient, focused, dedicated, and very professional. It all starts with the owner, Leo, who is an absolutely joy to work with. Not only is Leo extremely professional and proficient at what he does, but he also deeply LOVES what he does. He cares about your property, your yard, and your landscaping. If he feels that removing a tree might not be your best choice, he will tell you. His primary focus is the wellbeing of your trees and property, more so than how much money he can make off of you. In terms of my experience, I had a large, mature, black walnut tree in my front yard that I wanted removed. It was a challenging project due to a couple of honey locust trees in the parkway area in front of my property, as well as the closeness of the tree to my front porch and house. The Arborgreen Tree Service team was brilliant in carefully positioning their equipment on my property, and making sure they were very careful to not allow any tree debris to damage the bushes and other landscaping in the area. Because of the value of black walnut tree wood, especially when the trunks are as healthy and long as my tree's was, Leo offered me a discount on the cost of the tree service if I let him keep the wood. No other tree service I contacted had the decency, thoughtfulness, and professional courtesy to offer that. My friends, I HIGHLY recommend Leo and his Arborgreen Tree Service team. I just cannot go wrong with them. He has my tree service for life! read more

Amazing work outstanding customer service my tree was in need of a good haircut and they were fabulous !!! Highly recommend this business

I've used Arbor Green twice now and I think they are great. I had two different crews come out and both did a fine job. Good communications between them and me as they were trimming my 7 oak trees and same earlier in the year as they trimmed a maple and a couple of elms. Good cleanup afterwards; they even dumped me my oak chips so I could use them this coming spring as mulch. Fair price, competitive. Highly recommend. Robert read more

Leo and his team came early for their morning appointment (on a cloudy 55-degree May weather) ....that's great in our book. We were pleasantly surprised they were able to maneuver through a tight driveway and in between our neighbor's fence and our property to get to the Mulberry tree to remove it, chipped and hauled away. In addition there was a stump next to the garage and a Buckthorn by the back fence that were agreed to be removed. However, per Leo when they arrived at the location, they found it necessary to cut the fence to remove the Buckthorn and generously offered to cut the fence and replace on their dime to satisfy the agreement. That was simply music to our ears to hear such news. We recognize superior customer service and business sense from Leo and Arborgreen Tree Service and will not hesitate to highly recommend them for the North Shore Area. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Two virtual thumbs up for Arborgreen Tree Service! Do not hesitate to call them when you need a Licensed and Insured Arborist, you will be in good hands with Leo and his team! read more

Service is ridiculously LOUD. Cut the branches and haul them away! Why grind everything in a residential area, on a job that takes EIGHT HOURS?? Give us a break!!! Not pleased that they removed a perfectly healthy tree from our neighborhood either. That seems unethical. Good riddance to your trucks and NOISE and tree killing. read more

Arborgreen is an amazing company. After a wind storm uprooted two enormous trees and deposited them on my garage, I gathered several estimates for removal. I'm so glad I went with Arborgreen. They are thorough, respectful of the surrounding property, and they left all areas cleaned up. I will be calling them again for maintenance of some overgrown trees. read more

We had two very large overgrown trees removed by Arborgreen and were very impressed. The trees were too close to our house, and we had had another tree fall on a house in the past, so didn't want to take any chance. Arborgreen was quick to schedule, extremely professional and clean on site, and about half of the price of the other quotes we received. We are Evanston residents, so it was a bonus to support a local company. Side note to the yelp comment from last October (and one star review) -- just because a feature on a website isn't working correctly, doesn't give the right to hurt a small business with a poor review. They were completely responsive when we called -- it's your loss, you missed out on something good. read more
