There's a weed tree growing in the alley behind our house and one or two of the larger limbs was threatening to take down the Com-ed lines to our house. Com-ed told me they were only responsible for the wires from pole to pole. The wire to our house was my problem. Arborgreen had already removed a whole tree from our back yard years ago and they were great, so I called them again. They came out two days later, removed all the limbs that were in the way, cleaned up afterwards, and they were once again great. And reasonably priced too. Muchas gracias, Alfonso y Luis, por un trabajo bien hecho. read more

Prompt reply, great communication, and delivery of firewood less than 24 hours. They stacked it neatly in the rack, very impresed. Will use again when we need more! read more

They respond quickly and are very efficient. I have used them several times for tree removal and trimming.

I guess it isn't their fault that they were hired to cut down a gorgeous goodness-only-knows-how-old tree in my neighborhood, but as all of the neighbors mourned the loss, it would have been nice to not to have to listen to the workers laughing and whooping in delight every time another piece came down. They also parked their truck so close to our building's back gate that I wasn't able to get my bike in and out. I have ESA dogs who are required to enter and exit through the back, and they made that impossible for us as well. When I asked the driver if he could move so I could get my bike out he just said repeatedly "It's okay, it's okay," which it very much wasn't, so instead I was just ,late to an appointment because he couldn't be bothered to give up a couple of feet to allow me room to come out. read more

Quick response to my online estimate request, fair price, and great service. Arborgreen was the only tree service (of three) that responded to my estimate request. I had a relatively small job, picking up a couple piles of tree branches that I had cut. They performed the work within a week and did so very professionally -- including raking the lawn where the piles had been. read more

Arborgreen removed a large branch that the recent storm broke from a large maple tree in my yard. They were careful to avoid lines that also had been compromised by the storm. They came a few weeks later to prune the tree and remove any potentially damaging branches. They were careful, professional, and considerate of my property and my neighbors. They were prompt and friendly--top notch work. I highly recommend Arborgreen. read more

I had extensive tree damage on my property from a recent severe storm. There were a number of very large branches blocking my driveway and even the front door to my home. I called Arborgreen the afternoon after the storm and I got an inspection and estimate immediately the next morning. A few hours later, the team arrived at my property and did a wonderful cleanup job in a few hours. I am extremely happy with the results. I think the charge was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this company and also use them again. read more

My experience was as the next-door neighbor to work Arborgreen did in Evanston. The workers did not use good safety practices, such as securing branches before cutting. They piled large tree-trunk sections onto the parkway grass, compressing the soil. They also were noisy and ribald for hours, screeching with laughter, giggling, talking loudly nonstop about subjects other than the work. They also filled the air with cigarette smoke I had to leave my porch to escape. I don't consider all that kind of behavior to be good professional comportment. I certainly would not use this company for work on my yard, based on the way they worked on my neighbors' yard. read more

Great service at a very competitive price! Leo was very honest in giving me his arborist opinion, and his crew did a great job removing a dead tree in a difficult location and trimming large trees. read more

Arbor Green provides great service. Up to the specs, clean and reasonably priced. The reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is the communication issue. I don't speak Spanish and the workers have only limited English. Otherwise, I would recommend their services to anyone. read more

Arborgreen pruned back big branches from our trees that were banging into our home and our neighbor's home. They were on time, carefully moved outdoor furniture away, and completed the job without any issues. I highly recommend Arborgreen for your treework. read more

The ArborGreen team's professionalism came through on all aspects of removing 3 three large trees and pruning a 4th tree. They were easy to work with, knowledgeable, respectful, efficient, highly skilled and reasonably priced. One of the large trees was tightly located between our house and our neighbor's house. The crew handled this difficult removal with perfection. They cleaned up well too. We highly recommend ArborGreen Tree Service. Thank you for a job well done! read more

They were initially recommended to me by a neighbor. I reached out to them on a Tuesday evening, they responded almost instantly and scheduled a consult on Wednesday at noon. The arborist who came for the consult instantly knew the type of tree we had (Silver Maple) and its age (150+ years). He gave me a verbal quote on the spot and sent a formal estimate from his truck before pulling away. It was an easy "yes" from us, and they were back Thursday 8am for service. They worked quickly, professionally, and efficiently and were done by 10am or so. Would happily hire them again! read more

I needed two trees removed after the recent wind storm we had in Chicago. One had fallen over onto my neighbor's garage. I contacted Leo, who responded quickly with what I believe was a fair and reasonable quote. The crew came out that day to remove both trees. The crew was prompt, courteous, and professional. The cleaned up thoroughly afterward. They were unable to grind the stumps out that day but came back shortly thereafter and took care of that as well. Again, great crew man and the area was completely cleaned up. I highly recommend them. read more

Great service. Very friendly service. They were careful not to damage existing plants and cleaned thoroughly after job.

Very professional! Had all the right equipment. Great Price! Was able to do my neighbors tree as well. Will use them again. read more

Great firewood!! Much better than other companies I've ordered from. Burned well and without issue.

Great service - I called for a half cord and they were stacking an hour later. Most important, the wood was dry.

They took care of the trees in my elderly parents' long-neglected yard, and the neighbor complimented me on their work! They had a price that was much less than another that I was quoted. They responded incredibly quickly, which was important because one tree was unhealthy and could fall. By contrast, a competitor didn't even make it over to give me an estimate until a couple of hours after Arborgreen had already done their work! Arborgreen sent me pictures of their work so that I could confirm from a distance that the work was done. read more

I contacted Leo from arbor Green along with several other tree service providers because I had a gigantic silver maple that had to be brought down due to decay. We will miss it from our backyard, but not the whirly gig little helicopter seeds! The crew of 5 worked together seamlessly. Everybody had their role to play and everybody did it really well. It was truly a massive and tricky job and they pulled it off perfectly. They were very careful with some delicate areas and had to work in both my neighbor's and my area. They cleaned up after themselves and even offered to come back to leave more wood chips if we wanted any in the future. I don't believe I'm going to need them again, but who knows? If I ever need a tree service I will not hesitate to use them. They were actually the most reasonable quote so it was a win-win for me. read more

I highly recommend the team from Arborgreen! They provided professional services and fair prices.

We had a variety of volunteer trees in the backyard that have grown over the course of a few years. We needed to get them removed. My partner contacted them and they arranged to send out one of the arborist the next day to give an estimate and schedule the work. An arborist became available that day, however, so Leo got back in touch the day of the initial call to have someone come out that afternoon. Estimate was good, so the work was scheduled for eight days hence. They came yesterday and were so quick. In fact, they came right into the backyard before we realized they were here and started doing the work as soon as the scope was confirmed. They were in and out within 15 minutes, taking the little volunteers with them. I really appreciated how non-disruptive they were, in addition to their efficiency. Prices were good, and I would recommend them to anyone in need of tree service. Review #630 11/2022 read more

I am a return customer for arbor Green Tree Service. We used them last year to remove a huge old silver maple that was threatening to cause damage due to rot. This year we asked them to thin another really big maple. They got the job done 2 days after I accepted their quote. I was really surprised and pleased that they're prompt response. They did a fantastic job. It took a few hours . They used three men and made the tree look young again! A lot of the branches from this tree were above part of our garden that has a lot of expensive plantings and small trees. They were very careful and the cutter, working from a basket at the end of a big crane was amazing in how he guided all the cut pieces so that they did not land in the area below him. I was very impressed. read more

Leo, Jesus, and their crew did a fantastic job. I called to inquire, and within the week, they gave me an estimate, scheduled, and finished the job. One tree was on a narrow side of the house. They had the proper equipment and managed to remove it. The other was on the front of the house. I wished I had taken before pictures, but these are the after pictures. They also did some tree trimming for the entrance of my house. They were professional, skilled, efficient, fast, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them and look forward to hiring them again to clear my backyard. read more
