Sergio's guys were amazing! They removed a large dead Oak tree in Glencoe that was near a fence, pool, and power lines. ComEd shut the power off while they removed the tree. One guy went high up in the tree and took it down piece by piece. The 5 guys on the ground took away the debris with ball carts, chain saws, and wheelbarrows. I never leave reviews. However, please don't use this company. Had a no show in December to trim an Oak. They said they were behind. Called several times always reassured they would get to me. I called again for a date. Was given one. Never showed up. Called went to voicemail, left a text with no response. Finally texts back and asked if a crew had arrived yet at 2pm. Sergio has serviced several friends and neighbors and when we had quite a storm this week, I called his office at 8:00 the next morning:00. I spoke to a live person and he was at our house in 45 minutes. Sergio quoted a very fair price and removed the two large limbs from our huge oak tree in our backyard. Sergio and his son (Jrn) were great and gave me a price on the spot that was super competitive. I really enjoyed his friendly demeanor and 'can-do' approach to things. I was super surprised to see those lower ratings but can see that if you wanted an urgent job with everything ticked and tied then perhaps Sergio's relaxed approach isn't for everyone. All these companies have been super busy this summer and Sergio's team was no different. But once we locked in a date his team showed up and did an AMAZING job. My kids were fascinated with the way the team took down the various trees and branches (from the house). Sergio came out in late August and gave us a fantastic price for tree removal and two other tree trimming and said he'd be able to come and do the job within 2 weeks. It's mid November and I've been trying to reach Sergio since August getting his assistant only. She told me I was on a waiting list but was elusive as to "when" he would do the job. After more than 2 months I finally was told by this assistant that I wasn't on the list any longer and the job couldn't be completed this year and likely not until spring! A very unprofessional organization. We have root infiltration of our sewer because of this tree and it cannot wait any longer so luckily I was able to find and hire a real professional that's coming in 4 days!
