I have used this company several times. They trim my very tall scrubs, prune my trees and have cut trees down for me. They always show up on time. They do quality work. They listen to what I want and do the services requested. Their prices are reasonable compared to several companies I have called. Keep up the great work! Thank you! Highly recommend. read more

I didn't hire this company for my property. They are working at the neighbors property. They've been here for two days now. Watching the gentleman that is climbing the trees and doing the cutting I can tell that he is very experienced. He is very conscientious about safety and makes sure that he ties himself off by two points at all times. The entire crew is very respectful. I would say if you're ever looking for a professional crew to do an excellent job I would highly recommend this company. read more

We've be utilizing Richard's services for years, trimming back trees & bushes. Again, he came in, did exactly as needed, at a very fair price. His long time team knows what to do and are very good at what they do. We're a long time satisfied customer. read more

Richard coordinated for a Tree to be trimmed that was hanging over my house. The job that was provided was excellent. The crew showed up on time and was very respectful of everything on my property. Where do I start .... 1.) machines were broke on several different Attempts to complete work . Had to keep taking my baby in and out of the house on three separate occasions every time ANOTHER piece of equipment just happen to be broke . 2.) They took out an ENTIRE tree I didn't ask for then said I was lying 3.) was late 2/3 attempts to Complete the job 4.) I asked for the stumps to be done and magically he left it off the quote after we specifically talked about it . He forget then said I didn't ask for that . Why would I want stumps left ? Finally he refused to come finish the stumps before my daughter party 1 week before . I ended up having to scramble to find someone else . Then said he was gonna out a lien on my house and take me to court . Don't go here, doesn't communicate to his people working for him then blames you for all the mess ups . read more

They came out to remove a tree. They did that ok. But. They used 2 of my ladders I had behind my storage and did not even ask. They also did not even put them back were they got them. They left the fence knocked over which they could have propped up at least, also left the gate going into the backyard wide open. Wtf.. not cool They need to do some training on respecting people stuff for sure. read more

We have used Arbor Tech a couple of times now over the years and they are always very professional and competitively priced. The arborist is great and really helps you understand any potential issues with the trees. The crew is also great and leaves the site very clean. read more

I called Arbor Tech Services to get my front yard palms evaluated, not only did the office assistant quickly get me booked for a free estimate, the arborist, Richard, was very knowledgeable and confident in the best ways to take care of my trees(as an arborist should!!) and gave me great advice on taking care of them after the clean up they recommended for me. Highly recommend if you want an awesome job done by great people. read more

I would not recommend Arbor Tech Services to anyone. Not only did they change the estimate date, then they showed up late. The estimator said he would email me a quote but after three days I telephoned him two times and even gave him my telephone number again and my email address but never even received a courtesy call back to let me know he was not interested in the job. I have about 60 trees and my husband called to get me some help for my Apple trees that have Fireblight. I had about a billion other questions that other experts were not sure how to answer because they were so specific. Richard spent about double the time with us than we had expected despite it pouring down rain. He went the extra mile and I am so confident that my home orchard will thrive thanks to his help and advice. Richard with Arbor Tech knows everything and I truly couldn't be happier! He is so personable that when he came over it felt like we had an expert and a friend who we'd known for a long time. Thanks for everything! read more

2nd time I've used Arbor Tech Services. Both times were great. Showed up on time, did the job requested and cleaned up well. My sister has used them and agrees. Don't use any one else!! p.s. beat everybody's estimates too! read more

They are professional, competent and reasonable. They show up on time, explain everything, provide follow up and clean up after themselves.

Used this company previously for a tree removal. Communication was professional and service was completed with no issues. I recently contacted them for tree trimming and replanting of the tree. This time, they no-showed twice, with no notice and no apology, and when I finally got them to trim my tree, they butchered it. I wrote to complain and ask them to fix it, even if there would be an additional cost, but never received a response. With so much competition, I fail to understand how any business can survive with such a faulty service model. read more

I really wanted to leave these guys a good review. But unfortunately, their customer service is atrocious. I would have been a return customer but apparently that holds no water with this company. I called the office and scheduled an appointment with Brittany, and confirmed it would be for Monday Jan 14 2019 between 9 am and 11 am. I agreed that was fine and double checked that they would be at my house sometime between those times for the estimate. I had to be home because the trees I needed the estimate for were in the backyard, which is fenced and locked, plus I have 3 dogs so I took the morning off from work to make sure I would be here to let the tech in. By 11:15 am no one had shown up, so I called the office and got the answering machine. I left a message, but got no return phone call. I called again 5 minutes later and got the answering machine and once again left a message, giving them a second phone number to contact me at just incase. By 11:30 I still had not heard from anyone and I had to be at work by 12:30, so I called back and Brittany answered the phone. When I asked where the tech was for my appointment, she put me on hold and reached out to him. When she got back on the phone she indicated he would be a while yet. I asked her how long, because I had to leave and she said she didn't know, put me back on hold and reached out to the tech again. When she got back on the phone, she said it would be several hours still and if I couldn't wait, she could reschedule me and give me PRIORITY scheduling. I was dumbfounded. I told her I thought we were already a priority since we would be returning customers (we used them 3 years ago to take a tree down and had were happy with their service), and she just seemed clueless. She offered to reschedule me, and I told her no, I would look for another company. If they can't even bother to contact someone who has an appointment to let them know they will be late or won't even be showing up, that tells me this company doesn't value customer service and that they won't do a good job, because you know, who cares? I get a Christmas card from this company every year telling me how much they value my business, but actions speak louder than words. Clearly they don't value repeat business at all, and that's fine with me. I'd rather give my money to another company who actually understands what good customer service is. read more

Hate to be a naysayer, but they do not appear interested in new business. Due to the high ratings, I was interested in having them work on a number of trees in my yard. I called four times over an entire month (10/2, 10/16, 10/25, 11/5), during business hours. Nobody ever answered the phone, so I left messages. An online request was sent as well, and nobody attempted to get back to me. It's really unfortunate nobody appears to be at home. read more

For an amazingly affordable rate, ArborTech crowned and cut back out 4 ft struggling fruitless pear and 2 other trees in our backyard. They took away all the branches, and completely cleaned all the leaves and detritus and left our back patio cleaner then it was when they got here. Prompt, fast, fantastic. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs tree services. read more

Look no further.... these professionals are excellent!!! I inherited a property that had an over growth of unruly trees, vines and bushes. One of the major problems was that the root system of one of the trees had invaded the plumbing line and caused issues on the inside of the property. After having four services give me an evaluation of the situation and estimate of the work that varied from $400-1100, Richard was the only one that identified the tree that was the actual problem. The Arbor team arrived as scheduled and cleared out the unruly and invading trees, removed the overgrowth of vines and bushes, and did all of the work in the most professional manner possible. The team was very easy to work with and thorough in every aspect of clean-up. They made sure that the debris that went into the street and yard of the neighbor was promptly removed. You can not go wrong when working with the Arbor team!!! (The word team truly applies here because they've all been together for over 8 years) read more

The first time we used Arbor Tech we were new homeowners. They had the best quote on trimming our trees: a huge Zelcova, lemon, plum, and an orange tree. They were on time, did great work, left us firewood, & cleaned up. It has been the same great service over the years, rather someone is home or not. A neighbor wanted us to try her guy, Rodriguez Tree Trimming, this year. His quote was almost 3 times more than the cost of Arbor Tech, just for the Zelcova. She was surprised & we were appalled! We immediately called Arbor tech. The customer service via phone is great: easy scheduling, returned my calls, reminder call of date scheduled for work, and took time to get answers about my tree & how to care for it during this drought. No need to go anywhere else! My Zelcova's haircut is great & at an accurate & appropriate price. Thanks, AT!!! read more

Hired Arbor Tech Services to remove a large birch in my yard. Richard was friendly and professional and his crew did a good job at a fair price. I'm happy with the result and would recommend Arbor Tech based on my experience. read more

I wanted to leave this company a good review. During estimate, Richard, the arborist, impressed me with his tree knowledge and I picked up some good tips on care and maintenance. Richard told me they want to be a "boutique" arborist. In other words, top of the line service which of course goes along with top of the line prices. I care very much about my trees so, although Arbor Tech's prices were astronomical, I did not flinch at the estimate. I wanted the best service for my trees. The issue came with the actual work being done. The crew foreman (the guy in the photo above listed as "our wonderful foreman") was literally a jerk. Completely disrespectful. I have no idea who he thinks he is but he obviously understands nothing about customer service which, of course, is his job. He also did not listen to my requests. My requests had nothing to do with health of tree and were okayed by arborist but the foreman was obviously annoyed with any "special requests". Lastly, to top it all off, at the end, he's on the phone out in front of my house for a long time. His crew is sitting around. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for them to leave to log on to work as I'm working from home that day. He has not completed the transaction with me so I'm waiting. It was taking quite some time, so eventually I go outside and stand in driveway and wave over to him. He ignores me. I wait a while longer. Wave again. As in: Hello, remember me, I am your current customer who is waiting for you to complete the transaction. He ignores me again. Finally decides to get off the phone and I kid you not, walks up to me, and states "You need to understand. You need to wait. I have important business to take care of". Yep, he did. I called the company that same day to give them feedback & Maria said Richard would call me. No one called. After about three weeks, called the office again. New receptionist took message. Richard called me back but said he didn't have time to talk will call back following day. That was two weeks ago. Still no return call. It's now been over a month since service. At this point, I have no choice but to conclude they are obviously not interested in customer service or feedback. So if you like paying top dollar to be completely disrespected & ignored in your own home, please give this company a call. read more

Arbor Tech Services illegally cut a tree on my property. I find out about a city notice and rectify it same day (though I was given 11 days to do so) trimming it back 3ft from side walk. Arbor Tech Services owner acting on a report form the property management about a city notice arrives (30 minutes after I trim) to my property and cuts down my 14 year old redwood tree and takes the wood with him. Arbor Tech Services calls property management while he's at my property and tells them he will submit bid later he was going to get the job done right now. They told him he wasn't supposed to cut the tree down. They told me he said "Its too late, its already been done" and he has worked with the code enforcement in the past and knows they would fine the owner $500 a day if this was not taken care of so he is helping the owner by removing the tree because the tree couldn't be trimmed down to 3ft as requested by code enforcement without killing the tree so it had to be removed either way. He said, "Well I won't charge her if she's that upset by it." Arbor Tech Services doesn't know that the city always notifies me when the tree is too far into the sidewalk and I always trim it back 3ft. Arbor Tech Services doesn't know that the tree always welcomed this 3ft trim and was very healthy and thriving. Arbor Tech Services does not know that this tree was planted in honor of my daughter's birth. This was her tree and they cut it down. I contacted Richard Todd Heinricks owner of Arbor Tech Services and asked him who authorized him to cut down my tree, "He said, "No one I was just trying to help you". He never apologized or offered any restitution. He just said he was doing his job. On Friday morning April 10th I received a code enforcement notice via my property management company to trim my redwood tree back from the sidewalk of my rental. Code enforcement, had given me until April 21st to cut it back, however I decided to get it done that same afternoon. At around 2:00 o-clock I went over and trimmed it back three feet from the sidewalk as requested, enjoying the smell of the needles and reflecting on the day we planted it in honor of my daughter Chloey on the day she was born. She and the tree were both 14 years old. I thought, "Someday when I'm gone she'll drive by her tree and know how much she was loved." I finished the job at 3:04. At 4:07 my tenant called frantically leaving a message saying they cut down my tree!!!!! I called the property management company and alerted them as to what happened and they said they would call me back. When they did they told me that they had a company go out to my property and do a bid to cut the tree down (without my permission!). Instead of doing the bid, the company "Arbor Tech Services" cut it down! My family's beautiful colossal 14 year old redwood tree which meant so much to us and my daughter was gone, 1 hour after I spent all that time trimming it. The property management company simply said they were sorry but that the company they use called "Arbor Tech Services" made a mistake and instead of doing a bid they cut it down. They told me to call Arbor Tech Services about it. So they gave me their phone number and I spoke to the man named Richard who actually did the cutting. To clarify; there was no code "violation". It was just an "enforcement". I was given 11 days to correct the tree overgrowth before it was in violation. I had complied to the enforcement 10 days early and 1 hour before Arbor Tech Services illegally came onto my property and cut it down. When I spoke to Richard I asked him who authorized him to go onto my property and cut my tree down. He said no one authorized him, there was a code enforcement issue so he decided to cut it down himself; without my or anyone's permission; he was there to help me is all; (nothing to do with the fact that he was to gain financially...). I asked him what he did with my tree and he said he has some pieces of it but the rest went through his chipper. It is suspicious to me that Arbor tech came right after I rectified the problem and still went ahead and cut my tree down a half hour after I fixed it. Is it possible that they arrived while I was working on the tree and decided to come back in a half hour after I left and cut it down anyway due to the profit they would gain? The property management company told me that Richard the owner of Arbor Tech Services who cut it actually said, "Well I won't charge her if she's that upset by it." I never even authorized to be charged! It is audacious to say the least. We are all heartbroken and devastated by this destruction, robbery and invasion that has decimated our property. I have no idea how he left the site because there were no plans drawn up or anything. Is there a stump in the ground? What happened??? Where is the accountability? I am so sickened, weak from anger and sad all at the same time. How can he get away with this? read more

Great service and reasonable prices. Richard is arborist, not just a guy who will remove trees or just trim regardless of what's best. He is honest and upfront. And he will listen to your concerns and consider what you want. We had a huge tree that was either going to be trimmed or removed (we didn't know what to do). Richard arrived for our appointment and explained what he suggested and why. His expertise helped us make the best decision. We had a quote emailed to us the same day and made our decision on who to hire. The quote reflected what we discussed and no hidden charges or fees. We had to wait about a week for an appointment. This was no issue for us. The day of removal the crew showed up with in the time frame given and got to right to work. Richard showed up to make sure all was well and we were actually able to get another tree trimmed. The process was completed in a couple hours and it included stump grinding and surface roots. Payment was completed over the phone at a later date, quick and easy. The price was great, job completed and our neighbor asked for the number to get a tree removed also. read more

Just had my backyard palm trees trimmed and I was very satisfied with Arbor Tech Services. They were very prompt and were very good at communicating with me as the weather conditions had to be just right to do the job. I wasn't home when they were working but came home to a very clean yard and pool. They even worked with my not-so-cooperative neighbor to make sure there was no drama. I will definitely have them back soon for some more tree trimming. Thank you Richard. read more

I had Arbor Tech come to the house twice. Once, to remove some rose bushes and others. I specifically told them to remove the dead rosebushes and leave a hole so I could plant new ones. At the time of the estimate I was told they would do this. When I went to dig to plant a new rose, I realized that they had just cut the top off the rosebush and left a bunch of roots there. The second time he came out, I talked to him about this and he again told me that they would have to get an auger, but they would do that, along with trimming some trees in the back. They came and did an acceptable job on the trees, but again didn't touch the rosebushes. My experience was that the owner promised a lot more than the workers were willing/capable of doing. read more

I am extremely happy with the tree service received from Arbor Tech Services. Their quote to remove a Cypress and Chinese Tallow tree in our side yard plus trimming the Camphor tree in the front yard was very reasonable, so I scheduled the work to be done. There were three crew members and they did a "remarkable" job! The work was handled skillfully and quickly, and everyone was friendly and professional. They took care to be sure nothing was damaged, and the clean-up was immaculate! The crew member who cut down the Cypress and Chinese Tallow also did the clearing, cleaning and structure of Camphor tree. When the work was completed on the Camphor tree, I was left "exceedingly" pleased in how it looked! He took an ugly bushy filled tree and made it look like a work of art! How it looks now, I LOVE IT! I called 3 different tree companies and the first two declined the work due to the fact that the tree was deemed potentially unstable. Also, it was near a fence and a structure as well as near power lines. Clearly, this was not an easy job. At any rate, Alan came out and looked it over and gave me a good price to bring it down. It was impressive to see how he and his team set up safety ropes so it could be climbed without too much risk, and then when they brought it down, it fell exactly where they wanted it to. Impressive. I have a lot of large oak trees on my property and when I need a tree expert, I'll be calling Alan Hall. read more

Richard is AMAZING!!!! We had his crew out a couple of years ago and they did a STELLAR job on our birch trees. I didn't know what to keep and what to weed out... you get the picture. I thought of Arbor Tech and Richard. He took the time to walk around my entire front, back and side yards and gave recommendations for how to take care of my numerous fruit trees, roses, and other plants. Adolfo, Marco and Juan showed up before 8 am and started work promptly at 8. They tackled my backyard first carefully moving our patio furniture and potted plants to avoid being damaged by falling limbs. From the three trees being trimmed. By noon they had moved on to the four large trees in the front yard. All day I heard the buzz of the chain saw or the din of the chipper grinding limb debris into mulch. By 3:30 they were busy raking up smaller debris and putting my patio furniture back in place. These guys were great. I highly recommend Arbor Tech . Called last week for a quote to remove a tree stump and some bushes around my home. Was told I should expect to receive an email quote. Decided to follow up as I had not received any follow up. They stated someone had come out and saw my bushes were already cut.....hmmmm yet I'm looking at them as we speak. Ok wrong house maybe. No big deal...then she states they could not remove the stump because they are underutilized were the roots are coming from???? Apparently, they don't remove stumps if they don't remove tree...... well didn't I call for stump removal to begin with????? Is this a bogus quote. Did you even come to my house???? I called about stump removal??? Either you do or you don't do that....if you don't there was no need to "come" by. that's an easy phone call no waste of time. Disappointed! Updated: I didn't notice the response. Richard H. I am awed that you would expect someone not to write a review for that type of service. I did call your office....the point of this review....As the arborist coming to my home...you would have known that was not the stump I inquired about. The larger one in front of my home, that had been cut down 2 years prior was the reason for the quote. Not the small tree hidden on the side. It's possible, that you received incorrect information maybe...that does speak to the service. Note: You never contacted me or provided a referral as you stated you would.....I found someone else and the job was taken care of quickly. Btw...my neighbor used your service, which is why I called you. The next weekend he was in the yard trying to chop up the root that was supposedly ground. He did that for several weeks, while my guy removed all my trees in minutes, I've referred him to 6 other people. I asked why he didn't just call and have you guys come back out....he didn't want to deal with the lack of service. Wow...please focus your disappointment in the right area. read more
