We are a local couple who frequent here often...staff are the same workers since going 3 yrs ago and are the kindest & sweetest.I am not lying..they have barrel furniture made from Mexico & don't get me started on the food...AMAZZZZING!Top quality steak tacos, the BEST grilled chicken tacos..salsa Verde enchiladas green sauce..chef's kiss!Hidden gem & I'm shocked they aren't breaking the doors down to get in there. read more

Place is clean and festive. Had the strawberry margarita....tasted like a weak strawberry lemonade with no hint of tequila. Food arrived hot and generous portions. It filled a need but wasn't anything special or tasty. My husband ordered an enchilada and burrito and you could not tell the two apart. My chile rellano had a dry tough batter. Our waiter was fast. read more

Pretty decent. Authentic food, cute atmosphere either a lot of barrel-based art and decor. Relatively affordable, swift service (though not super friendly, not bad either just perfunctory). We had the Bandera burrito and the fajitas. (Can't remember the name now). They were basically the same thing just different presentation. Steak, chicken and shrimp. The fajitas were a little overcooked but tasty nonetheless. Next time, I'll get the one with the salsa Verde instead of the one with melted cheese because there wasn't all that much cheese, and it could have used some sauce. I like that they still have free chips and salsa at all tables, though the chips were not all that good. I still like to have them. My favorite part was the head-sized (virgin) piña colada. So tasty! read more

Ate here recently. Wife and i enjoyed our meals. I ordered the Cameradis Diablo ( shrimp in hot sauce) lots of flavor and i liked the bite of the sauce. Dinner came with rice and beans. Chips and salsas were tasty. Wife ordered the cheese enchiladas. She liked it and would order again. read more

These reviews are a straight up catfish. The good=salsa comes in a carafe, and there's plenty of it. That'll about do it. The bad=the chips were stale. Salsa was ok. We ordered the lunch special chimichangas. They did not come fried. It was basically a burrito drenched in some white type sauce that had no flavor. I'm assuming it was queso? The rice has cut up frozen vegetables in it. The beans were passable. Both meats in the chimichanga, chicken and beef, had an overpowering potpourri flavor. Either it was some cinnamon or nutmeg, but that's all you tasted. The blended margarita had the appearance of applesauce, and the consistency as well. I don't know how this place has all these five star reviews. Botanas, on fifth, in Milwaukee, reigns supreme as the Mexican food lunch special king. I hate to give bad reviews, but the catfish reviews on this place must stop. I'm just out here trying to keep it real people. read more

Good Mexican Restaurant Authentic, plenty of good food. Nice and clean. Give it a try if your in the area, you'll be back

The chori dip is my favorite menu item here. But they do boast a rather large menu, if you can't find something here you just not like to eat. There is a huge variety of options for anyone. House made margaritas, generously poured. Large beer selection, and a comfy atmosphere to take it all in. The staff is always friendly and welcoming too. They even have a large patio, weather permitting of course! read more

The food took a while with stale chips as our appetizer but other than that great food and great service. Decorations of course are amazing with clean and furnished bathrooms. Very cultured music that wasn't too loud and wasn't too quiet. 8.5/10 would come again. read more

Service was wonderful and food was very tasty. Margarita's needed a little more taste. Price was average.

Came to this place based on Yelp reviews and had a good time. Unfortunately didn't get a picture of my Mango margarita but it was delicious! A nice touch of this place is that you get your own little salsa dish so you can dip into your own salsa versus sharing a communal bowl. Carne asada taco was great! Wished I had just gotten tacos as the chicken enchiladas were decent but not as good as my taco. Rice and beans were also tasty. Not the best Mexican I've ever had but certainly good for a small town! read more

Pricey and Little left to the imagination. I can do better at home. Meats are tough and dry in the carnitas and the steak tacos.

Good meal, felt safe eating Roberto the waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. Have to at gluten free due to celiac disease. Ate on the patio- right next to the road. read more

Not my favorite. We got delivery. The chicken fajitas were dry. I didn't enjoy the enchilada sauce. My friends order there a lot.

Never having been a fan of Mexican food, this place has won my heart. Good size portions of great food. I'm converted

Fantastic service and decor! The ambiance is good and attracts a variety of clientele from Mexican to non-Mexican. It's not the most authentic Mexican food, but you're going to eat very well regardless. The inside ia a bit more attractive than the inside. The strawberry and lime margaritas are delicious. The San Luis seafood and fish dish is really good but almost for 2 people (like 8 tacos-worth), unless you've got a huge appetite. I'd return to try more. read more

Food was excellent, service was good. Only issue was how expensive it was. Got the Pollo Chipotle and a Medium Pina Colada and with tip was over $40... Lower the prices and it won't be as empty as it is around lunch rush time. Vibe is good, good music! read more

Awesome place and quick service. Food is amazing and so isn't the chips and salsa. Besides the Karen sitting behind me complaining about everything little thing as they don't realize their waiter has other people to take care of plus having to bartend. We visited Arandas for an engagement celebration recently. The staff was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. We ordered the chorizo dip as an appetizer for the table and it was a huge hit! Everyone was satisfied with their meals ordered. The restrooms were clean and well kept. We were on a family trip to Delavan Lake and looking for something different to try. No regrets here!! This was some of the BEST Mexican food I have ever had- and I've had a ton!! The Carnitas special was absolutely delicious. Camarones a laDiabla was so good but be prepared for the spice! (As expected) The shrimp was so fresh and had the perfect texture. Our whole group loved everything they ordered. Just. So. good.. We will be back!! read more

Nice place, excellent food, good service. All critical components of an excellent culinary experience. We had the Pollo California and the enchiladas rancheras. Very good. Wow! The food here is delicious. And you get a decent amount of a portion. I got the camarones a la diabla and in other places I will only get like 5 shrimps and here I got a good amount. It was too much for me to finish but I couldn't stop eating because it was just so tasty. The service is great as well. Overall great atmosphere the only complain is the temperature it was too warm inside other then that everything was amazing. Will definitely be going back again. Ps. I will also recommend some music playing in the dining area. Keep up the good work!! read more

We stopped in here for lunch a week ago while we were in town based on the reviews I saw online and I'm so glad we did! The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated but it was the food that really wowed me. I ordered a steak quesadilla, not only was it delicious, it was enormous. I forget what my husband ordered but he said he really enjoyed his meal too. Our waiter was friendly & stopped by several times to check in on us. Overall a great experience, next time I'm in town this will be my #1 choice for a meal. read more

My wife and I have lived all over the country and have eaten at plenty of Mexican restaurants. Places we've lived we've eaten our favorite local mex restaurant dozens of times. The food here is 4 stars EXCEPT the chips. I'm not sure if it was a bad week but I've never had chips this stale in my life at any mex restaurant at any point. It's probably the cheapest item in the kitchen and I felt like I was eating rubber. I would give one star but food is pretty good. Chips are the first impression and I hated that part. Good chips would easily have 5 stars. Food was 5 stars taste wise but only 4 stars because I was now worried about the freshness. P.S. I NEVER write reviews on yelp in a bad way but this one deserved it. Do not mess up the easiest item in the kitchen. read more
