I love the way they grill the chicken with the onions and the green peppers. It was very good and tasty. I had the corn Tortillas. It also came with the side of rice and refried beans which were OK. Just to let you know that your table comes with the free side of chips and salsa. Their salsa is made right there in the restaurant and is very very good. It is between mild and medium heat. Not enough to burn your tongue, but you can tell it has a tiny bit of heat. Our waitress was very, very good and the first thing she mentioned was the special for today. We ordered chips and salsa to go and she made sure and took care of us. The restaurant was real clean and the time to get the food out was fairly quick considering. It appears they get a lot of DoorDash orders so that kitchen was busy tonight. Price wise, they have very decent and inexpensive prices. Highly recommend this restaurant!

It's only open for breakfast and lunch and a nice thing is if you come in at 7 AM and you are hungry for a hamburger, they will cook you a hamburger! Today we came in for breakfast and the place I'll be at slightly dated is still clean. We got the best waitress in the world and she was just a sweetheart. New to menu well and kept coming to our table to make sure everything was fine. Probably waited about 10 minutes or so to get our breakfast once we ordered it. We'll talk about the price factor here, their prices are very much in line with other places in the area that we have been visiting the past few weeks. So I would say average on prices. Food portions, however, are generous. Can't leave here hungry! The girlfriend had the western omelette and I got to taste it and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly and had to write amount of ham, cheese, onion, and green pepper. It was seasoned beautifully. I had the Mexican skillet and the waitress asked if I wanted some of their homemade salsa which I agreed to. Their Mexican salsa was amazing, flavorful and had a little bit of heat. Perfect for me. If you don't like hot sauce, don't try it! But it was perfect for me! My eggs were over easy and they were done to perfection the way I love them. The potatoes in the skillet didn't come out of a bag frozen as they appeared to be fresh made in the kitchen. Generous portion of meat inside the skillet. I'm glad for this choice and I will try it again. All in all, this experience was great and I highly recommend Delavan family restaurant!

Menu is EXTENSIVE, and there is something for everyone. I was torn between the carnitas (which I regret not getting) and the combo plate, where you can choose 2 items and get rice and beans. It was a chicken taco and chile relleno for me, and it was a little on the salty side. The drinks were on point. I enjoyed my Mexican mule and had a couple slurps of the mango/strawberry frozen margarita, which was refreshing and dual colored. Kids' menu had plentiful choices, including quesadillas, tacos, and hot dog and fries. Enjoyable experience here. Loved the throne-like chairs. Absolutely recommend and would return when in the area!

The restaurant feels more like a café when you walk in or diner. It was clean. Our waiter who might be the owner, but I'm not sure waiting on us and was very good at his job and very knowledgeable of the menu. We were treated with respect and kept our drinks full. We had the cheese curds as a appetizer and they were not too bad. They were breaded and came with ranch dressing to dip them in. We had buffalo wings, which were obviously frozen out of a bag and a very big disappointment. The meat was very dry and tough. Caesar salad was done good and tasted very good. Had the jalapeño half pound burger and it was cooked medium as I requested. It's a big burger and had good toppings on it. It was very tasty and I have no complaints for that. Their french fries are not traditional and taste like they are coated with something but they were very tasty. They just weren't regular french fries. It's like they have some kind of coating on them. Again they were very tasty and done good. Their fajitas are the star of the show. They come out sizzling and smell and taste amazing. They have a decent kids menu and everything on the kids menu is 6.99. As for the prices, their prices decent. A half pound burger and fry was $11.99. You compare the prices to other restaurants in the area and there in line with the pricing. Saturday night is their prime rib night and at 6:30 when we're about done with our meal, we were the only table in the restaurant. It says one of two things, prime rib is either no good or too expensive? I don't know what the answer is to that question but it was a disappointment not to see the place, at least half full on a Saturday night.
