Our first time there, with our Granddaughter, who's been before. What a wonderful experience. Fabulously, Friendly, Family Restaurant. The food was delicious and well appointed. The service was fast and friendly. When we were there, we had the son of the owner as our server and his sister was another server. The owner was the Chef. We really only come to Super Tacos Moy because it's close to Low Daily, but I'm grateful to have good Mexican food that's quick, cheap, and easy to take out. We usually get the tacos, but this time we got the Carne Asada meal, and it came with grilled cactus, grilled scallions, grilled jalapeño (way too spicy), rice and beans, and of course all their normal salsas. This is definitely one of my favorite meals that I've ever had from here. It also looked pretty bouncing in there when we went to go pick up our food last time (usually I make my boyfriend to it LOL), but I would definitely consider actually dining in if it wasn't just super busy night. read more

We walked in and the place is super small - about the size of a bathroom. There was a line at the door. When we were seated at a table it took awhile for our waitress to come over. I was disappointed they only had original and mango margarita- no other flavors. I then tired to order a sangria which they didn't have "the mix for". I then ordered a mango margarita on the rocks. My husband ordered four fish tacos. There was hardly any fish on the tacos. I ordered tacos Al pastor. My tacos were okay; a lot of fat on the meat. I was told my bill was $51 something and then my receipt came and it said was $64 something..... like WTF read more

I actually really like their food in the past, but I tried something new off the menu and the customer service was beyond awful. They are not willing to explain what anything means, and were in such a rush to brush our questions aside even though we were ONE OF TWO ONLY CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE. Just beyond rude. The lady who served us was very rude. She brushed off all of our questions, didn't explain very thoroughly. We kept asking what the dish actually was and she kept saying chorizos meant pork: we were trying to figure out what the meal actually was , there was barely any description on the menu. She kept smiling and pretending that she did a good job or did us a favor. It was very aggravating, and we felt unheard and that they did not care at all. What came out was basically a pork sandwich. We had no idea what it was and asked again what it was. She kept saying pork sausage and we kept trying to explain that the menu said potato and she told us that we had to pay for it even if we ordered something else. We barely touched it. We thought it would have potatoes and sausage per the menu, which is not what happened at all and she was very firm that she "explained" it even though we told her she gave us a terrible description. We paid for the meal, full in price even though we did not eat it. Awful. Terrible customer service. read more

We arrived at the restaurant at around 6p.m. They were not terribly busy , there were empty tables . We were seated and told someone will be right with you . We then waited and munched on chips and salsa. We waited some more and watched other customers come in , get seated ,get a drink order and menus. We sat there and someone again came and said , someone will be right with you . Again watching other customers get their food and enjoying their meal. We finally got our order taken 35 minutes later ,other people that came in after us ate ,paid their bill and left . We got our food ,it was OK, nothing special, chips and the rice were probably the best part of the meal. I had steak tacos my wife had a chimichanga, again they were nothing worth going back for. We were desperately craving tacos, spice, flavor after a morning of fishing on the lake. This place was a godsend. Tucked slightly off the main road, this place is unpretentious and small. We were told to seat ourselves - there is a small bar, a large fridge full of choice beers, and horchata flowing on the countertop. The menu immediately struck us as authentic and big. We were immediately served house made tortilla chips (hot!) and several salsas - all crispy, delicious. Most recently, we had a spicy goat dish. Snuggled in a warm tortillas, fresh lettuce, cactus, and green salsa verde made for a mouth watering combination. I had lovely grilled steak slices in a tomato jalapeño sauce - simply delicious. Not sure what all the hype is about this joint... My fiance and I got a $65 ($75 with the tip) TO-GO order for our fam over the weekend. What a waste. The only positive thing I can say is, they were very timely on the order. We got 2 'dinners' (authentic chicken tacos and a combo dish for the kiddos), 7 tamales, extra rice & beans and 3 salsas. Portions were skimpy, everything was REALLY bland, literally no flavor and really dry. The avocado salsa had a very odd/off putting odor, red salsa was REALLY effin' hot (and we love spicy grub), yet had no flavor. Idk if we just went on a bad day or what (was a Saturday afternoon). Over all just sucked @$$ and was our worst Mehicano grub experiences, unfortunately, highly doubt we'll be back. read more

This solace has the better mexican food in this area. I'm from the south and my family is Mexican so I still recommend this place. It's pretty good food wise. The service needs some work but it's over all a nice place to eat. The food is good compared to other places in the area, unless you go to Milwaukee. I recommend it cause it taste good, just if they ask you if you want it spicy? say no! it's just overloaded with more pepper for spice not flavor! read more

To say I'm disappointed in the food here would be an understatement. The tortillas were soggy, and the chorizo--well, I don't know what that was, but it wasn't chorizo. Ground pork with some kind of red tomato sauce mixed in? It had no flavor whatsoever. Thankfully their green salsa is pretty good, so I drenched my tacos in that to give it some flavor. I'm genuinely baffled how this place has a higher rating than Los Compadres, which is what Mexican food should taste like. They happened to be closed, which is the only reason we ate here. read more

Surprisingly enough this place isn't that bad. If you are craving Mexican food on the Lake Geneva area you will not be disappointed with Super Tacos Moy and their food. They got pretty packed so eat early or expect a wait. One huge disappointment however is the fact that we asked for more fries ... one server said okay, one said they have run out of potatoes ... on a Saturday night 6:00 PM. How do you not prepare for your weekend rush is beyond me.. they had a long wait out the door so personally I feel like they said they ran out because they wanted us out of there to seat the newcomers and orders were coming up and for them to do fries would take up too much time. Service was pretty poor. Our waitress did not come to check up on how the food is or to see if we needed refills. If and when we come back, if service improves, this place would be a solid 4 stars! read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner last evening. The reviews on Yelp were good and we wanted to try it out. First, we noted that the young woman who greeted us was busy behind the counter and was slow to greet, but asked if we had an order to pick up. Apparently, their takeout business is of greater volume than their dine in. There were two or three other tables occupied when we arrived. Outside of kitchen staff, there were three young woman minding the front desk. After 5-10 minutes we received very fresh chips with three different sauces & menus. The young lady serving it said very little and rushed away. We were not asked about beverages after being given at least one spicy sauce to accompany the chips. We reviewed our menus and put them down. We waited. The first server proceeded to work on restocking the beverage fridge with Corona while the other wandered, stood or walk back and forth into the kitchen laughing. Occasionally, we would make eye contact with no recognition by the staff as to next steps, etc. After 15 more minutes of watching re-stocking and growing thirsty we left. It may be that their food is good (we don't know outside of the chips), but the service was neglectful and lacked basic standards of offering a beverage or promptly taking an order. I don't think COVID food service labor shortage is an excuse. Those three young women need training on basic proper service. We ended up eating at a competitor restaurant down the street - they had ONE waiter (who doubled as a bartender) and received very good prompt service when he had the same number of patrons. read more

Very sad what has happened to the food quality at Super Tacos Moy. It used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant. We use to eat there at least once a week. Especially since the stay home order was released. We still did continued to at least take out. But, not anymore. My hopes are that they read this review to make the proper changes. The last three weeks we ordered three complete meals. We drive at least 30 minutes to get there. The last time we had take out was yesterday May 8th. The food was so bad I thought by taking photos of our order and post them here my wake them up and if not at least warn people. We ordered 6 shredded be tacos, veggie burrito large guacamole and Pico sauce. Like I said I hope this wakes them up. The photos that will be on this review should not only show you that their food went to a A+ to a solid F. Each taco had a teaspoon of meet a couple pieces of brown old lettuce and a speck of cheese. All together it didn't even fill 1/8th of the taco. The Guacamole had two small fruit flys mixed in. Please make the changes. Very sad to see. read more
