Poor customer service. I had home projects and money ready to spend with this business but…read moreapparently they don't need it and would rather ghost their customers than communicate professionally. 2 months ago I requested a home quote, they responded immediately and I had a project manager at my house with 2 days. She came over and took measurements and we discussed the projects I wanted completed. She was in my house for 1.5 hours! I sent her follow up emails with multiple pictures and design ideas I wanted to incorporate. She said she would follow up within 2 weeks. Now, 2 months later- nothing. I have sent follow up emails to the PM, called the PMs cell phone as well as the main business number leaving voicemails. No return calls or emails. Even a short message saying they are too busy to take on new projects would have been well received. Why even come over to my house to NOT give me a quote or follow up with me again?? Will not be working with this company or recommending them to anyone.

In addition to refacing the cabinets, ReNu converted an outdated desk area into a much needed pantry. They also raised the cabinets above our current refrigerator in anticipation of future models that are several inches taller. Their craftsmanship was top notch. Upon completion, Erica contacted us to make sure we were satisfied with their work. Needless to say, we were more than happy! If you are looking for a reliable, friendly, skilled and reasonably priced resurfacer for your cabinets, we highly recommend ReNu!

Spoke to Irene Lopez and went down the next day. She showed me my "chosen" Terrazura and also had another slab she thought would work. Both slabs looked great with my flooring, cabinet and paint colors. I went with the Terrazura and everything continued to go smoothly through installation. I'm beyond thrilled with my new kitchen and love my quartz. Highly recommend Factory Plaza! And big thanks to Irene for seeing my vision and Alex for a flawless installation. I've forgotten the name of the gentleman who measured but he made a suggestion to add a strip of the quartz behind my stove and it made the whole look so custom. So highly recommend!

Lazy fabrication and zero accountability…read more I am writing this because, as a small business owner, I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism from Factory Plaza. I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. It stands out like a sore eye. * Dismissive Management: After a failed "repair" (just smeared epoxy), the stone manager told me "nothing more can be done." In an era of digital fabrication, that is a flat-out lie. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. If the check has cleared, Factory Plaza is finished with you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the kitchen island turned out well and Gina in the front office was a sweetheart who went above and beyond to try and remedy the situation. It's a shame the owners and management don't share her work ethic. They desperately need professional development in customer service and quality control. Factory Plaza: I am still waiting for a senior technician to contact me to fix this under warranty. My next step is a formal complaint with the BBB.They chose the easy way out, then ghosted me. I don't appreciate them wasting mine. * Lack of Transparency: It was never mentioned to me during the process that they would not be caulking the counter to the wall. Deborah Pernice was our designer; she was able to use her expertise and our vision to design a beautiful, family-friendly kitchen in our 2200 square foot house that has allowed us to host our large family. Deborah went to bat for us in designing and redesigning our floor plan to make us able to knock down a small support wall and add an island so that our kitchen is now completely open to an odd-shaped dining addition that was done by previous owners in an aesthetically-pleasing way. We love our kitchen and all the smart choices Deborah made, such as a stick-vacuum and electronics cabinet, lazy susan, and beautiful lighting options. I recommend Deborah if you are looking to design your kitchen or bathroom in the Northwest suburbs.

A beautiful, complete remodeling of the kitchen, baths, floors, etc:…read more Excellent design advice and quality workmanship resulted in a wonderful home. Cabinets Plus did a full remodel in 2018 of the kitchen and both baths, hardwood floor, closets, doors and wood trim. Melissa and Linda's design advice was extremely helpful and they deserve full credit for how beautiful the kitchen and bathrooms look, not to mention the efficient storage. Their advice on other remodeling issues was very valuable, as they could visualize better than me how some of my ideas would actually look when combined, and the result was that I went ahead with great suggestions where otherwise I would have stayed with safer choices that would not have looked as nice. I came into the project with some design requirements (existing furniture and heirloom rugs) and a few ideas, but I could never have put together as fine a design as they did, nowhere near as good. When technical questions arose during the design, they Kent and his people were unstinting in laying out the technical facts so we could make the best choice. I'm very happy with the suppliers they suggested for plumbing and electrical, who were also helpful, and the products we settled on look great and work well--and again their guidance led me to make good choices I might not otherwise have considered. (So a tip of the hat to Banner Plumbing, Northwest Electric, and Abt.) The remodeling teams did excellent work, and what's more they were very careful to not make a mess or unnecessary noise, which pleased my condo neighbors. All the neighbors, condo board and management company had nothing but good things to say about them. Word of mouth counts: A former neighbor recommended Cabinets Plus, and my discussions with them gave me confidence that they would do a good job. I visited several remodeling companies but got the best vibes from Cabinets Plus. If I ever do another remodeling I will go with them.
