These guys are fantastic! I didn't use them for my countertops (I found out about them later), but I did use them to fabricate a food tray for my puppy from the granite remnant I had. The quote they gave me was the most reasonable. The communication with Nancy was excellent. They completed the job in a timely matter and ended up giving me a further discount when I came to pick up the tray! Several months later, I contacted them about recommendation for the contractor and again, Nancy got back to me within hours. Such superb customer service is rare these days. I was planning on writing a glowing review. DTK has a well-organized office, knowledgeable salespeople, a good selection of granite, and a quality manufacturing process - the countertop looked great. But the installation team negated all these. It was a 2-person team. But it was only 50% functional - one person was experienced and knowledgeable, and the other one didn't know what he was doing. It was clear he didn't have any training and was learning on the job. What was even worse, I don't think he was that good with his hands. This is usually not a good combination. It took him probably 1/2 hour to install a sink that was held in place using 4 bolts, with the holes in granite predrilled. While installing the sink he managed to chip the stone. The other person stepped in and repaired it. He used ceramic epoxy and did a good job. But the whole concept of paying $3,500 for a chipped and repaired countertop doesn't sit well with me. The salesperson called and apologized. He also offered a small discount. It was a good gesture. I didn't expect this. I don't know how often something like this happens. Possibly this was just my unlucky day. But at the end of the day, the countertop looks great, and if I ever need another granite countertop, I'll probably call them again. Will ask for a different installer. read more

Finding the right colored slab was a challenge, but as DTK didn't have it, they pointed me to other stone houses, and I was lucky to find the perfect one (well, two). Sandy answered all my calls promptly every time, Dimitre measured with precision, and within a week of measuring, I have my new and beautiful granite countertops! I'd had them create a peninsula out of old counter space, and had wanted the edge of the backsplash to proportionately match the curve of the counter. The result was gorgeous! I was also having floors replaced, and they made sure to schedule so that I could avoid disruption. My brother had recommended this company, and I would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for a quality fabrication and installation. They are excellent! read more

I am working on many renovations in an effort to get the house on the market. I have faced many challenges along the way and almost gave up on replacing the bathroom vanity tops. The big box stores were quoting very high prices and I had a limited budget. I was searching online for alternatives and DTK came up so I reached out for a quote. I didnt want to waste their time if this was way out of budget so we did everything by email at first. The customer service that Albena and Sandy provided blew me away. They treated me like family. Their pricing was great too. I went into their shop to select the stone slabs and again was provided such excellent service. Albena made the process painless. The day of installation, I was holding my breath because anything could happen - damage to cabinets, existing mirrors, walls...the demo process removing the old vanities went smoothly and all 3 vanities were done in under 2 hours. Working with DTK was the best part of my bathroom remodel. We shopped at another stone company before our project was under construction. It was difficult to get a quote or a return phone call. Once we were under construction, our contractor had his stone guy bring out a few samples. We didn't like anything, and we were now short on time. I'm so happy that I found DTK. I got a quote as soon as I picked out a granite slab that I liked. They were able to measure the same day (they quote 1-3 days). It was installed 3 business days later.
