I want to thank Fred Werner for the excellent service he provided to me over the telephone on April 13, 2020. I have a Mr. Steam steam shower that was installed many years ago. The steam component still works, but the on-and-off bubbles on the control panel decal do not. The plastic on both bubbles has worn away -- there are holes where the bubbles were -- so there is no way to activate the unit. I called Mr. Steam to order a new control panel and was told my model has been discontinued and the control panel is not available. My only option was to buy a new steam shower. During an online search for my control panel, I came across SteamSaunaBath, which had a photo of my control panel on its website. I called and explained my problem to Mr. Werner. He researched my problem and concluded that I only needed the plastic decal that goes on the control panel, not a new control panel. SteamSaunaBath had the $24.95 decal in stock, so I ordered one. Mr. Werner gets an "A" for customer service. He found the photo of my control panel on SteamSaunaBath's website and sent a copy of it to me to ensure that we were looking at and talking about the same thing. I have nothing but praise to SteamSaunaBath- and here's why. I ordered the wrong sauna and didn't have the wiring to handle the load so they provided me the means to return the sauna and buy the right one. I did as told and waited and didn't hear anything back. I called them about 60 days later and was told the unit came back very damaged and no money would be refunded. Fed Ex shipped the unit back insured. However, unbeknown to me insurance with Fed Ex only last 30 days. So upon talking to them about my issue they denied the claim. I called SteamSaunaBath and explained my dilemma and cited them not contacting me in time cost me my insurance with Fed Ex. Their team reviewed my case and agreed to refund me 100% of the cost of the unit. Their moral high road made me whole again but more importantly they chose to do the right thing over maximizing profits. I applaud that decision with passion. This company is excellent. Their product is top notch, their packaging great, and their pricing very competitive. It's good to see morals still exist in this highly competitive world we live in. read more

It has been miserable trying to communicate with this company. We placed a simple order earlier this year for 3 heating elements for our dry sauna. They arrived, but one was defective. I sent an email on Nov 9th that was never answered. Called their office on the 11th and was told that no one could talk to me and that I could leave a voice mail, which I did. Then on Nov 13th got an email from them asking me to leave a review which I thought was weird if they do not want to return my phone call or previous emails. So, I sent them a 3rd email on 11-13. Then again, send a 4th email on 11-22 and left a voice mail again. My last email was my 5th on Jan 3rd. Assume that they are still in business as the web site is still active, but they will not be for long unless they figure out that it is important to respond to their customers. I am trying to run a luxury hospitality business and the value of the time wasted with them is in excess of the amount of money that I spent on product. read more

About 28 years ago I built a sauna kit from Finland at my residence. My sauna heater finally failed and I decided to purchase a new Finlandia FLB-60 sauna heater from Steamsaunabath, which I thought was a correct replacement. Prior to purchase I discussed my project with their representative Michelle Scofield. Michelle was very helpful and I ordered the unit, which was delivered within three days. I scheduled an install with a licensed electrician. When he came we discovered that the previous unit was an 8 KiloWatt unit. I decided to ask that I return the FLB-60 and replace it with a FLB-80. Michelle helped me again and I connected with Customer Service. Linda understood my problem and arranged for an RA return for a credit toward the price of the FLB-80 sauna heater. I purchased a mr steam "steam generator" about 16 years ago. The auto flush stopped working. Nathan at steamsaunabath emailed me diagrams to convert the new atuo flush to my older unit before he made a sale. The older auto flush is no longer available.
