Beware! Our recent experience with Aquatic Solutions has been awful. I called them on Dec 4 because our hot tub stopped heating, provided codes (high limit error) and photos of the pool equipment. A technician came out to troubleshoot for $149. The technician said the sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. I received a quote for the sensor for $215.71 including labor charge of $145. The technician replaced the sensor but did not verify that it worked before leaving but I paid the invoice. The hot tub won't heat and the last time I heard from the company was 12/22. I've left a couple of voicemails and texts since then but no response. I know that we just had a holiday but was hoping for some kind of response. I believe that I may have called this company in error thinking it was a different company that I had worked with previously. This was paid out of pocket as I do not currently have a home warranty. read more

I called Home Advisor for a reliable swimming pool service. They recommended Aquatics Solutions Service. They came out and I gave them a $400.00 down payment. I changed my mind about using this company , and called them the next day. they agreed to refund my $400.00. That has never happened. I have called them, and I have called Home Advisor. I have never received a refund from Aquatics Solutions Service or had an apology from Home Advisor.I am owed $400.00 from Aquatics Solutions , and they have not refunded my money. Although I previously have reviewed Aquatic Solutions, offering a positive assessment, I wanted to do so once more. In dealing with a stalemate with my home warranty company due to an erroneous diagnosis (or lack thereof) of my pool filter, by a different pool service company, I contacted Aquatic Solutions to get a second opinion. Natalie and Jessica were great to interact with and were very professional and responsive. They provided an extensive evaluation of the filter, which prompted the home warranty company to reverse the findings of their first dispatch. We were referred to this company to help us with our pool/spa heater which won't turn on. They came out within a couple weeks to look at our system and told us it was the control panel and they would contact us with a quote. That was 5 weeks ago and we never heard back. 3 weeks after the initial appointment we called them and they said they'd get back to us. We have called a couple more times in the last couple of weeks and they just say they're busy. It feels like they don't value our business, and we are upset we spent $150 and have nothing to show for it. We still can't use our hot tub and are now searching for another repair company to fix our heater. read more

We were referred to Aquatic Solutions by a neighbor to have some pump and valve work. They returned our call promptly, scheduled the date for service, called the night before to give the 2 hour window of when they would be there and.....wait for it....showed up as promised! He had on a clean uniform with the company logo and his name embroidered on the shirt. Turns out is was the owner Greg Norton who quickly assessed the equipment malfunctions, fixed each flaw, tested the fixes and even programmed an additional feature on our control panel unsolicited that tricked out a cool new waterfall effect. Back in July 2017, our 17 year old pool finally stopped working completely. For about 2 years the pump bearings/motor got louder and louder, and our backyard pushed up against I-5. After calling numerous places locally in Stockton, we were referred by someone who was overbooked to Aquatic Solutions. Jessica was who we dealt with via phone/email, and within a day or two had someone come out and evaluate our pool setup and a new pump recommendation. Our home was built in 1987 and the pool was installed in 1989. So we were anticipating some sort of code updates/equip upgrades w cost. We we're already in the home for 8 years when the pump broke. Once we finally agreed and signed the contract after mulling over costs, timelines, and receiving another quote from another out of town company, everything couldn't have gone smoother. We agreed to have installed: a new Pentair Intelliflow VSF, new piping connections, and a new GFCI setup. Jessica and Aquatic Solutions even took care of getting the Pentair Rebate and PG&E rebate started. Install was done after a day or two of agreement, and was emailed an electronic copy of the paid invoice and the owner's manual for our new pump upon completion. Most or all of the communication was done over the phone or via email as I was at work almost every time, and I only met the gentleman (owner/installer) I believe only once for the initial evaluation. The manufacturer warranty for the pump is clearly defined and stated on the invoice , and the pricing breakdown of each line item ; products / labor / tax etc were all clearly stated. I hate our pool, because I can't swim, but the family loves it, so having to deal with repairs is not something I look forward to, I'm just glad I know of a company nearby I can rely for an honest assessment and quality work. 2 years later, and still not one issue with the pump, and I recently replaced all of the grids from the old American Titan SS 60sq ft Filter on my own. read more

Our pool light went out. Another company tried to sell us a light and told us we had to drain oit pool completely for installation of new light. Aquatic Solutions sent their very clean cut tech out, determined our light was still under warranty, ordered light, sent two very clean cut techs out to install light without draining pool even an inch, no cost to us! Very satisfied with the customer service, knowledge, and tech service! Definitely will use again for any other repair needs that arise! read more

The worst customer service . They don't follow up on commitments. The technicians are incompetent, need I say more. They worked on our pool equipment and it's been 4 months and still not working right. I asked to speak to the owner and I get a call back from the girl that never follows through. I called yesterday and they got back to me within 20 minutes. I needed a lamp replaced in my pool. He asked if I needed it right away and squeezed me in the very next day. These folks are very proficient at repairing pumps, and even jury-rigged a defective, newly purchased, Pentair pump to work after the impeller partially destroyed itself. I wouldn't buy another $1000 Pentair pump, but I would certainly use Aquatic Solutions again. They know what they are doing! They now occupy a place among my trusted go-to contractors. read more

Our pool service recommended AS. I really appreciated the quick response to come out and check out our 17 year old pool heater that was not working. Greg explained the possible problem clearly and was honest about the repair versus replacing the aging system. He explained the estimate/repair process and the estimate was e-mailed promptly. Due to structural issues that need to be addressed, we decided to hold off on the heater repair. I would definitely contact Aquatic Solutions in the future. The service call fee was fair. Although we didn't get the repair completed, the information provided by the technician will help guide us in determining whether to repair or replace the system once the major cracks are fixed.
