Unfortunately, we've had some water issues in our basement for quite some time and decided to bit the bullet and get it permanently repaired. Brent came to our house and was extremely knowledgeable and well-spoken when dealing with customers. He let us know clearly in an easy to understand manner how exactly he would fix our problem. Since we met with 4 other companies, I feel like I can say this with conviction. I cannot emphasize enough just how professional & respectful the crew was and left out basement without a sign of them being there, except for the fixed situation of course. These men were at our house in the cold of winter including one day which was below freezing. By laying plastic down on our floors, they were able to keep the dirt out and one day they literally had to heat up the rock before putting it down because it was that cold out. They did this to meet a deadline to us and we really appreciated them. They are the epitome of what customer service should be. We've had big rains since then, so we are confident that our complete needs were met. I have highly recommended them to friends. So far two friends have also used them and are as happy with their work and work ethic as we are. I will continue to recommend them to anybody who has waterproofing needs. You will never be disappointed! read more

I've no idea who this Erin person is who left such a negative review nor why, but I'd like to say that nothing could be further from the truth. Aqua-Proof has fixed 2 separate issues at my home and has completed work successfully for others in my neighborhood. Danny and his crew are true professionals who listen to your problems and make every effort to solve those issues quickly, efficiently and as economically as possible. I would highly recommend Aqua-Proof to solve your water problems. read more

I called the company about my issue with a exterior drain for my sump pump and left a message and they returned my call very quickly. They came out the next day and gave me an estimate (which was about half of what Roto Rooter quoted me). They talked me through all work to be done and performed it the following day without issue. Danny and team were very professional. One of the reasons I reached out to them is that I used their services some 10 years back or so to install a French drain that has been working very well. I was very happy with the service performed. read more

We called Aquaproof because we had repeated leaks into our basement through a window well drain that was not working properly. James Cline came out to provide an estimate and diagnosed as a faulty gutter issue instead of a window well drain...He could have easily charged us thousands of dollars to do the work- and nothing would have been fixed, but instead he acted with integrity, gave us the honest solution and we were able to fix for a couple hundred dollars with a new gutter....Needless to say, I recommend and trust James completely....you can trust these guys! read more

Strongly consider exchanging your cash for their services to a more thoughtful company. This company is probably excellent at what they do but the manner in which they go about their business is questionable. It was my experience that AquaProof doesn't have very good customer service: they have a strong no exceptions policy that both members of the household must be present for the inspection/estimate to take place and, frankly, their leadership is too discourteous to reconsider extenuating circumstances. We scheduled an estimate on a day when my spouse was originally anticipated to be home but the schedule changed and when the confirmation call was made by the company, I informed the company (because I knew it was important to the company) it would just be me and I assured the person on the other end that I was able to communicate the inspection/estimate to my spouse accurately. Unbeknownst to me the person on the phone was the manager. The manager wouldn't confirm the appointment and spoke over me without allowing me to get a word in edge wise. So here is what the manager didn't know, because the manager didn't ask (because maybe the company is doing so well that the manager didn't care to know if that there is more to our scheduling hiccup than the average customer who's wasting the manager's time): So here it is, AquaProof, my spouse is in the military (ok, not looking for sympathy or anything like that but it factors in) and SO often the schedule changes, so while my spouse is off doing what must be done; it's often on me to take care of things at home (FYI- this is not unique to us, so many professions require this); which I do happily, competently, and dutifully. Getting estimates for a major project such as waterproofing the basement has been a long process for us already (your company would have been our third estimate at this point before which came water mitigation measures, leak testing, and several call to the insurance company); it's a huge decision that takes a lot of time but it's also one that we are comfortable researching independently because we a capable and comfortable communicating, because we must if we want to get it done in this lifetime. Considering life doesn't stop for work, etc. perhaps you ought to reconsider making exceptions to AquaProof's policies and the tone in which they are delivered. If this changes, perhaps your will get our business and our recommendation. read more

AquaProof gives 1st class service and quality It is rare for me to find a contractor that goes above and beyond my expectations. Danny and his team at AquaProof wildly exceeded them. My daughter recently bought a house in Covington built in 1890. The structural inspection showed a dire need to have the stacked rock wall fortified and waterproofed. Several companies in the foundation and structural repair business declined to bid on the job due to the complexity and risk involved. AquaProof knew exactly what to do and how to do it. The quote was fair and in line with other quotes that I'd received. What sold me on Aquaproof was their solution would give me better quality and security that the repair was done correctly The crew that did the work was amazing. There were glitches and unexpected problems but they knew how to resolve them; they did so at no additional cost even though it took more time and materials. The communication and attention to detail during the two days of the job was excellent. When finished they went above and beyond by repairing the landscape. This is a good company with good people and excellent service. You should definitely consider them for what you need. read more

I've had 2 experiences with this company and I'm very happy with both. The first was to get an estimate on a basement window leak. I had 3 basement water proof companies come and the first Everdry tried to hard sell me and push a $20000 waterproof project on me. They wanted me to make a $20k decision on the spot. Rude and untrustworthy. Basement Dr. quoted $8000 for a similar whole basement waterproof and AquaProof came in and said you probably just need to put caulk where your deck meets your foundation. Problem solved. Free estimate and no immediate job for Mr. Manley. I got off with a $5 tube of caulk. 4 yrs later same basement had a leak where the main water pipe enters the foundation after every hard rain it would puddle on my basement floor. I had other cracks the seeped as well. Dan Manley came out again and reviewed all the trouble areas and took care of 5 down spouts, sealed the foundation where the water line is and resealed my driveway and garage threshold. His team was respectful and even helped me remove a broken license plate from my car just for the challenge. He will not over sell you and he will not talk down to you either and he knew I was a single female homeowner. He's the one to choose. No hard sell and no shenanigans. His team called ahead and showed up for all follow ups as discussed. read more

I call in to schedule a time for someone to come out and let me know what it is going to take to waterproof my basement. I tell them I am a school teacher and should be home around 330pm but my wife is a nurse and works 12-hour shifts. They tell me that both of us must be home. I understand why they want this. They want to sell me their service and unless both of us are home that probably won't happen on the first visit. Its a sales thing, I get that. However, I tell them I need to find out when my wife will be off work if they must have her there. I can't reach my wife, well, because she is a good nurse and doesn't take calls at work. So, she comes home, notifies me of her schedule. I call back the next day, they tell me that it will be at least two weeks out now. Well, my wife won't even get her schedule for that for another week. You know what, I will just go with someone else who is much easier to work with. They will be here Friday. It took one call, less than 5 minutes of my valuable time on the phone and the appointment is set. My guess is that I am going to be coming out of pocket about $15,000 to $30,000 for this repair. That is how much your ridiculous appointment setting protocols cost your company. Good for Cincinnati Basement Waterproofing & Drainage, bad for Aqua Proof. And I'm ok with that. I typically don't post bad reviews, but you really did earn this one. read more

Excellent Service! Rick and Brent and their staff were awesome!! I had my basement water proofed on 2/15/2016. They showed up promptly at 8 am and was completely done by 8 pm. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and very neat! They cleaned up great, I believe my basement was cleaner when they finished then when they started. My basement is completely dry, I'm so confident now with every rain because I know my basement is leak free. I would highly recommend Aqua Proof. They weren't the lowest bidder, but I do believe I received the biggest bang for my buck. True Professionals read more

AquaProof is amazing!!!! We had Brent come out and waterproof our basement. We are so pleased with his customer interaction and how easy it was to understand what exactly they would be doing at our home. I recommend AquaProof to everyone I know! read more

You won't get more honest people than this . Thanks for dealing with me while I was upset Danny

AquaProof and their team of employees did a fantastic job on our house! In one day they came out and replaced all of our gutters, installed glass block windows in our basement and repaired a leak in our basement from the outside. I'm impressed with the quality and amount of work they were able to provide in one afternoon, not to mention it rained the entire day. Everyone was professional and friendly. I've already recommended them to some other people that wanted similar work done. Thanks again! read more

Aquaproof attempted to fix the water problem at my daughter and her husbands house. There was a small crack but the bigger issue is the yard. It held water and was basically They have 2 dogs and small children and they have never been able to use the yard. Aquaproof was hired to fix the water retention issue in the back yard. They guaranteed that they would make it dry and we have come to a mutually acceptable conclusion. read more

My neighbor recently hired AquaProof for repairs. I came home one evening to find all the dirt from my neighbor's foundation piled up against my house and all over my lawn, as well as a backhoe parked between our houses. I was not notified by my neighbor, and I was never approached by AquaProof. The next day I approached one of the employees to see when the dirt would be removed because I was never informed. The foreman later knocked on my door and apologized, saying that the dirt was placed there for safety reasons and they did not know the project was going to be that big. I told him that I was upset that I had not been notified and that I was not happy that there was dirt against my house. He stated that he had asked me if he could place pipes in my lawn the last time they were there (which may have been a year ago?!) so he though I would be cool with it this time. I called the number on the side of the truck to see if I could talk with someone about removing the dirt as soon as possible and a woman who identified herself as Tracey, the Office Manager, would not forward me to anybody She said that she had the foreman on the other line, and that he said that he asked my permission. I told her he never asked my permission and she proceeded to argue with me about the dirt saying they do this all the time and it would not damage my property. With all the experience and quality work the company claims to perform, I don't understand why they couldn't place the dirt they dug up on the client's front lawn instead of mine. The employees on the front lines that I encountered are extremely disrespectful and do not appear to take any responsibility for their actions. I would not consider their actions professional, and question the common sense. read more
