I wish I would have gone with someone else. I had a garage foundation that was lifted. I feel like I got taken advantage of with extra pressure sales that were 6k over the original quote. The work was done in November. Now I am dealing with a huge mess in the yard and spending more money to get that fixed and on top of that, I see where they cracked the foundation/footer on the outside. Working with them was a mess. There does not seem to be a central person to answer questions. The garage never really got leveled but at least it's not supposed to sink anymore and is stable. It's supposed to be guaranteed but who knows? Don't be fooled by the ads. They make everything look nice in the ads but I still have a giant crack that's now filled with foam. I mean, it's a detached garage, but still...Do some looking around and NEVER let anyone high pressure you. Lesson learned. read more

Run away! We owe this company 37k during a promotion deal. They encapsulated and put some jacks in our crawlspace. The crawlspace is still holding water and after two weeks they still haven't scheduled more drainage. I have been in contact with the manager everyday trying to get a report so we can sell our house and he keeps telling me when he's done for the day. For a week now. I live on a slab foundation that obviously has some problems. These people kept on me until I went ahead and scheduled the service. Technicians came and couldn't do anything unless ripping up the floor. NOT AN OPTION NOW - WASN'T AN OPTION WHEN THE SALES guy was selling me down the river. DO NOT DUE BUSINESS WITH OHIO BASEMENT AUTHORITY!! I spent well over 30,000 dollars for a foundation repair only to have the ground around the foundation become a pond due to their incompetence and lack of respect for someones property .11/2025 is when the work was done I asked then about the back filling but brushed off. First rain it settled so badly I had a pond. Physically went to the office on Hillsmith Drive. Sent someone out with mulch to back fill mulch as back fill who does this! I'll tell you Ohio Basement Authority that's who! I have had to call they 4 more times about the settling. They were to come out 1/23/2026 to quote " fix it" and the DID NOT SHOW UP! No call no nothing. So disrespectful to me and my home, I have never had a water problem but I most certainly will because they did such a horrible job the first time around. All the water from rain and snow will eventually make it's way in to my basement. Don't let them ruin your home like mine!! read more

we had somebody out to do a quote. said quotes change everyday and if we wanted the price, and a 10% discount we had to sign right now. I emailed questions, never got a call back. pricing was 40% higher than competitor who held costs for 2 weeks. I live in Cincinnati, they are NOT local to Cincinnati or Ohio....they practice HARD sell. can't comment on their work as I would not hire them ever. read more

They started the job earlier than expected. They put in piers because the back of my house was dropping. When they were done I had cracks in drywall close up and doors that latched without lifting on them. Robert and his crew did a great job. I can't believe it only took a couple days. The lifetime warranty is a big plus for resale. read more

We have been pleased with the completed project, and have noted an improvement in our home's climate environment. While the cost of the project was hefty (yet, it was very comparable to quotes received from other providers), we view the project as a good investment in our home. read more

Joseph Willis, from Mount Valley Foundation in Charleston, SC, was here this morning to lift one slab of our concrete driveway and a corner chunk of the adjoining slab. He was very personable and professional, introducing himself and explaining the details of the compound used and what he was going to do. My wife was so interested in the compound and the process, that she asked Joseph to let us know when he was ready to begin injecting the compound under the concrete. After drilling holes and prepping the cement, he let us know. He then talked about the properties of the compound, showed us a sample of it and began injecting it into the strategically placed holes. When he was finished, he took us to the slabs to show us the results, which were amazing. I highly recommend Mount Valley Foundation for concrete leveling as well as any foundation problems with your house. read more

We returned from vacation and found a large separation next to our sliding door (between the door and the brick). I had four companies come out to evaluate and the evaluations ranged from "it's seasonal I would wait and see after the ground gets rehydrates" to it is something that needs taken care of today". We chose Ohio Basement Authority because their approach was based on actual information and a bit of science. I must say they were not the least expensive of the options, in fact they were the highest. However I wanted to fix the problem and not have to worry. We were informed the wall had dropped about an inch across the 25ft length. Without going into great detail, placing piers to stabilize the wall was recommended and we agreed with the solution. The team (Bradley R. and Jacob P.) that came to do the work were knowledgeable and professional. They introduced themselves and asked if there was a problem starting early. Then they began work as soon as they could, they had to go get a smaller backhoe to fit through our gate. They kept us informed throughout the process and were respectful of the space. This is a very invasive process digging down to the bottom of the foundation. The pile of dirt was amazing as well as the trench it was extricated from, but again they attempted to keep the mess minimal (which is not possible). After completion of the pier placement they filled in the trench and leveled the massive dirt pile the best they could, we will have to wait for some settling to get a final leveling. I would definitely recommend Ohio Basement Authority from the sales team to the installers they are geat. read more

He was professional, friendly and extremely conscientious and did not try to push unnecessary costs like other companies have done. Poor communication, poor pricing, poor ethics, poor training, and an unwillingness to make right wrongs caused. Our water issues are finally solved. they encapsulated aver a grey water pipe that was openly draining into the crawlspace was the problem. Something they photographed. 30k worth of repairs done to fix a single pipe they should have found during initial inspection, or found during installation, or any of the many subsequent visits. We still have two open vents not sealed off, and have had to spend thousands more to level a home that would not have sank if they had solved a problem instead of fraudulently throwing everything at it to inflate the price. Go elsewhere if you value your home. read more

I was told that 3 people including a foreman would be coming -only 2 guys showed up. I work from home and I could hear them yelling while I was on a live video chat with my boss. There was a loud shaking noise & my wifi cut out. When I asked if they happen to have pulled a wire or something they immediately declined it and said they weren't even near any cords. I had to call spectrum who told me the internet cable was covered in dirt & ripped out of the wall. I missed 4 hours of work & had to pull 2 10 hour shifts to make up the time. Then, after "completing" the job I went to go & check it out & they didn't finish before sending a payment request. My 30 foot drainage pipe was only 19 feet & they did not install the 4th side of the drainage system in my crawlspace. I immediately contacted a service representative & when I requested a different crew she became very rude, said she would need to call me back, and then just hung up on me. She never called me back so a couple days later I called again. The new rep said there was only a record of a service request from the initial sales rep I had been updating from the beginning. They sent someone out and when I asked how I could've only had a 19 foot instead of 30 foot pipe installed they said the team didn't read the notes clearly written out for instructions for my house. When I asked how they could miss a whole side of my house I got honestly I don't know I'll have to ask them. He was unable to complete all of the work & said he would send out another crew. I then contacted the general manager & after sobbing on the phone she offered $500 off & no explanation on how it could've happened. I requested more & she said she would speak with her boss and call me back & as you could guess never did. I called again a couple days later and another manager offered 10% off which I accepted because at that point I was tired of this company. I had a great experience with the new crew and when I asked the foreman how it could've of happened he said they simply didn't do their jobs. The sales rep had told me from the beginning they get a bonus if they finish a job ahead of schedule. This company will treat you like garbage & will not ensure that you are treated with professionalism or that the integrity of your home matters at all. I am a 23 yr old female first time home buyer and I feel entirely taken advantage of. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE. Attached are pictures I took to send to the sales rep when I initially expressed my concerns. You can see the algae/moss from the side of my house completely untouched which gave me the indication I was missing a whole side of the installation. read more
