All previous contractors would only come if they could do a complete replacement, whether needed or not. These people would not even go up on the roof to perform an inspection. Avoid these contractors. Do Not throw out your car just because it needs an oil change. Alex, the owner arrived on time to do the inspection. He did a detailed assessment of the roof, finding the problem I suspected, plus locating several other future potential problems. He took photos of all the areas of concern and explained in detail the potential problems the issues will cause. The same day of the inspection, he sent me an itemized quote. The Quote showed the cost of each repair, allowing me to choose what to have done. Within the same week he had someone at my property making the repairs. Alex came to the site multiple times to check the progress. During the repairs they found another defect in the original roof installation. RUS roofing fixed the defect at no charge. The did not even ask me to pay. They did a great job at a fair price. I would not have anyone else do this work. He was communicative throughout the process and provided hand-delivered samples of shingles to look at. In terms of construction, they showed up when they said and worked efficiently throughout the day...no shouting or loud music blaring. The owner sent real-time pictures of all repair work being done and also gave updates on installation stages. The workers took great care to protect property and landscaping. Swept and cleaned the deck leaving the premises in better shape than when they arrived. Photos of the flashing work showed great attention to detail.
