Insurance covered a few slopes, but not a full replacement, however we had them do a full replacement to get it done now and not worry about it again. Coldstream was in constant communication with us and the insurance company to try and get us the best value for what was being covered. We had a strip of roofing get torn off in a storm…read more We called another company that came and put a tarp on but never showed up to repair the roof and wouldn't return calls or texts. So, my husband called Kanga Roofing and they came right out. We got an estimate and paid half up front. Then the worker showed up to fix the roof a couple weeks later. I was a little surprised when he pulled up because we were supposed to be notified. Good thing we were home that day. Both individuals who came out to our house - person who gave the quote and took the 50% deposit & the person who repaired the roof - were polite and friendly. The work was done very quickly, as it was just a small strip that need replacing. We asked the worker about paying the other half owed and was told that a supervisor would be coming out to inspect his work and then we would pay the other half. Well, no one ever came out to check the work. My husband works from home and we have cameras - so we know that the inspection was not done. We're hoping all is well with it. Our credit card - that I guess they kept on file from the first initial payment - was charged as soon as the work was completed.

I don't think I've seen anyone as tidy and organized on a job site. The only thing left behind when the job was through, were a few pieces of siding which were to be used for possible repairs in the event of very high winds and the like. The workers showed up to inspect the site without telling me they were coming but then they were able to set a time that they would be there to do the job. The quote that they gave me was very appropriate and it was good value. The job was done and everything was very professional. I had more work for them to do but unfortunately the communication sort of fell and I never heard back from them on the additional work that I wanted done. I even had the foreman's number and texted him multiple times but he never got back to me. So they did the job but for some reason they didn't want any more money from me.
