I ordered my glasses at the end of January. They arrived within a week, which seemed reasonable, especially since there was a MAJOR snowstorm...I wore the glasses for 2 days, and went to clean them, and when I took a closer look, there were tiny cracks in the lenses. I returned the glasses, they apologized and sent them to be fixed. Apparently these cracks happen occasionally (stress fractures?) from trying to fit the lenses into the frame. I might add, that the frames I chose were fairly ordinary plastic frames, and my lenses were pretty basic...progressive bi-focals...ANYWAY...the glasses came back, fixed(?) about a week later, at no charge to me, luckily, and the very next day...GUESS WHAT? same cracks, and this time they were worse...soooo, I returned the glasses again. This time they circled the cracks with a marker, so the lab could see them. I waited...and waited.. (luckily I still have my old glasses, so I could still see) anyway, 2 weeks later, they called me, and I picked up my glasses. I even had the girl at the desk check them with me, to make sure they were fixed. I wore them for approximately 4 HOURS...and GUESS WHAT??? Yeah, you guessed it....another freaking crack! It was small at first so I toyed with the idea of dealing with it, but at $300, I really expect an outstanding product, not just MEH...anyway, the next morning, the crack was bigger, sooooo...I am returning these glasses, and getting my money back. This has been the most ridiculous experience I've ever gone through...for stupid, average, ordinary glasses! AND BTW, it is now the end of February! I might also add that when I first had the problem and spoke to them on the phone, the girl at the desk spoke to the Doctor to see what might have caused the fractures, and the Doctor's ACTUAL response was "well, maybe it's due to the cold temperatures!" ????WHAT???Um...it's called WINTER, and I see LOTS of people wearing glasses during that time, and I'm pretty sure that's NOT the problem... I'm just really actually DUMBFOUNDED as to how a simple pair of glasses can be such a problem. I'm glad I only need my glasses to READ, I can't imagine needing them for everyday events, and having to deal with this nonsense. I'm usually a pretty easy going, non demanding person, but this is just plain CRAZY! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN...I think I'll go back to America's Best, or Lens Crafters or something... YIKES! :(:( *****UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW***** After all that was written above, I went to get a refund, (actually my husband went for me because I was busy at work, and wanted it handled quickly, and wasn't sure when I was going to be able to get back to their office. He was told they were NOT able to refund me, but had to just send the glasses back again, to be repaired!!!???...At this point, long story short, after learning of this information, I filed an online complaint with the insurance company, and asked them to intervene. At the same time, my husband was at Aqua Vision, (this was after he had left with glasses in hand, an hour earlier and no refund), trying to speak to the Doctor, first and foremost, because she had just called his phone and threatened him with a SLANDER and DEFAMATION lawsuit, due to a review he had posted on several different social media websites, regarding his initial encounter, and secondly, to have Aqua Vision call the Insurance Company, so that they could resolve the issue. Apparently, not only did she (the Doctor) keep cutting my husband off, she also, once she called the Insurance Company, told them he was "very upset" and so they declined to speak to him, therefore, manipulating the situation in her favor. Luckily, I was on the phone with the Insurance Company, with another Representative at the same time, and they put me on hold, came back on the line and informed me that Aqua Vision had agreed to refund my money, and that I should give them a call. I was busy at work so did not call immediately, but a few moments later, my husband called to tell me that they had refunded my money, along with the whole story of his second encounter, and had my refund receipt in his hand, so I assumed there was no need to call them, that the issue had been resolved. You would think, right?? NO! I then found out, after speaking to my insurance company again, that there was still a HOLD on my insurance, an open claim, in case I wanted to return to Aqua Vision, to allow them to try to fix the problem, for now the FOURTH TIME???!!! or to let them know to release the HOLD so that I could go elsewhere (DUH...) to start all over again with the glasses buying process. :( .. All in all, the absolute, most ridiculous experience I think I've EVER had in my life, or at least one of the Top 2. SERIOUSLY, BUYERS BEWARE if you go here. Know what you may be in for, and DEFINITELY KNOW YOUR CONSUMER'S RIGHTS! so that you don't get taken advantage of, or at the least, extremely inconvenienced and stressed....Just sayin'.. read more
