I have used this company for years. To test the backflow and turn the sprinkler system off in the fall.

We've had John from Aquatech check our backflow system for about 18 years now, and we're extremely satisfied with his service.

If you are considering plumbing work or a full home repipe, you can save yourself time and…read moreunnecessary stress by calling Service Plus Plumbing first. Companies do not earn and maintain a near perfect 5.0 rating without consistently delivering exceptional service, integrity, and quality workmanship--and this company exemplifies all three. We recently had our home repiped by Service Plus Plumbing, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Landon and his crew were professional, punctual, and consistently courteous. They arrived exactly when scheduled, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and ensured we understood each step of the project. What could have been a disruptive undertaking was handled with efficiency and care. What truly set them apart was their commitment to going above and beyond. They took the time to answer every question, paid close attention to detail, and demonstrated genuine pride in their work. The craftsmanship was outstanding. Upon completion, they left our home remarkably clean. Aside from the expected wall cutouts--which were outside the scope of their work--you would not have known extensive plumbing work had just been performed. Their respect for our home and property was greatly appreciated. Equally impressive was their pricing. Their quote was beyond competitive, and the final invoice matched the original bid exactly, even though they invested significant time and effort to ensure we were completely satisfied with the finished result.

Really great experience with this company. After several Winters of short showers, I decided to…read morebite the bullet on a water heater. I had Service Plus over to advice/estimate, and to my surprise he had a tank on the truck. Hours later I had a new water heater, on what I'd thought was just an estimate. Was it my cheapest option? Hard to say...probably not, but if time is money, I got to deal with this heater ONE day and it was done and in the past. Happy to have it handled. Great communication and smart planning.

Brandon came out (after only 30 min wait.. in an ice storm) to consult on a broken pipe in my…read moretankless h2o heater. He said the whole unit was toast and he didn't have availability for a few weeks. He gave me a recommendation for a competitor, which I thought was courteous and unexpected. After calling 20 other plumbers, no one else had time either so I texted him and asked for a quote and said I'd wait the weeks/month. By some miracle he cleared a day, found a new unit and all the parts and was back to do the work in 24 hours. I checked up on the prices he quoted for the unit, parts, etc and everything was by the book. No markups or hidden fees, a totally fair a reasonable cost for the job. And he was very nice and happy to explain everything along the way.

It's a credit to Brandon that he told us that as soon as he arrived. Both times he told us he was slammed with work but he made a point to stop by and check on the problem very quickly. Another thing I like about him is that he offers suggestions/ideas on things that aren't problems yet. We just bought our house and he made several suggestions (all of which he was clear could wait) that were very useful. Bottom line: Brandon does excellent work at a very reasonable price and you can be confident that he isn't going to gouge you in any way. He's also very nice and a great person to chat with.

Caused a gas leak in my home…read more In December, I noticed my hot water wasn't getting as hot as it used to. I called Wolcott because I had an existing relationship. On the 2nd appointment they identified the problem, and were able to find a new water heater and install it same day. I was grateful and the technician at my home was friendly, respectful and accommodating. That was when the good experience ended, and the dangerous situation began. They left around 3 pm. I took my dog for a walk shortly after and returned 1.5 hours later to a strong smell of gas in my garage that quickly expanded into the rest of my home. This was a few minutes after 5pm. I called Wolcott and was greeted by their smarter-than-average AI assistant. The AI told me he was sorry there was a problem and advised that the next time someone could help me was during an 8 hour window the next day. I asked to have this marked as an emergency and have someone call me ASAP. The AI told me it would have someone call me as soon as 7am the next day. I knew that was too long, so I called NW Natural. They deemed it an emergency and told me not to turn on anything with power near the water heater, open all possible windows and exit the home. They sent someone over in less than an hour, their first available technician. NW natural told me that the Wolcott team had put all of the pieces back, but that one simply wasn't tightened. This caused the gas leak. I am grateful for NW Natural for coming so quickly, fixing the issue and helping me feel safe. The next morning, I waited for my call from Wolcott. At 9am, when I hadn't heard from anyone, I called them. Their dispatcher was unaware of the message I left or the issue. She apologized and asked what i wanted to have happen. I said I wanted to speak to someone given this was a life threatening mistake. Around 1.5 hours went by and their head of customer service called. Honestly, this is when the worst part of the experience began. His call started by saying he heard of the situation and wanted to ask if I had a statement from NW Natural to confirm what was wrong. I explained I did not as the technician was part of their emergency crew, and I did not ask him to verify the names of the parts he fixed because he was in a hurry to his next call. The customer service manager then proceeded to tell me of all of the tests they completed, which came across as him being defensive and actually as if he was questioning if he believed me or if I was telling the truth. He then asked me to name what would make this "right" to me. I had no idea. I told him it was a life or death situation and incredibly scary and I suggested maybe just the labor for the service, not the parts. He responded by asking me if "I really thought this inconvenience was worth thousands of dollars." He proceeded to argue with me for quite some time and essentially tell me that because he is in the industry he knew this wasn't a big deal. I told him every response he was making was making my experience worse. I also suggested the following: 1. When something this terrible happens, always start your call asking if the customer is safe and okay. Ask if there is anything you can do. 2. Don't ask me to suggest what you should "refund" to me. Offer something from the start. That goes a long way. 3. Train your AI to understand words like "emergency" and "gas leak" and ensure it tells customers to call 911 or the gas company. Not doing so is a liability. I understand mistakes happen. And I honestly felt bad for the very professional tech who worked in my home, but this was very scary and dangerous. My home, my belongings and my family could have been forever altered that day due to their actions. Their head of customer service made this entire situation the worst customer experience of my life. He was so tone deaf in how he handled everything, I won't be surprised to see if he writes a negative response to this review. They did refund me $500. I guess that is the going rate for causing a problem that could blow up your home or your neighbors.
