I have had a reverse osmosis system installed by Environmental ProTech for nearly 18 years. In that time, THEY CALL ME (Lord knows I would forget!) every 6 months to set up a time to come out and change out my filters. Their techs are super clean-cut, articulate, professional, and ON-TIME! On the rare occassions they were going to be late, (Houston traffic of course!) I received a call from either their dispatcher or from the tech. They do a great job of selecting and training their field techs, that's for sure! Recently, I changed out my kitchen faucet and needed to disconnect the filtration system from the water lines. The new faucet needed a different connector so I called the Environmental Protech office to find out what type of connecter I needed to buy from Home Depot or Lowes. They INSISTED, "Don't worry about doing that, we have a tech that will be in the area on Monday and he will stop by and take care of it!" Guess what, THEY DID! (I can't promise they will do that for everybody, but it's obvious they are loyal to their long-time customers!) IN CLOSING . . . . No, I am not related to the Environmental Protech owners nor do I work for them! LOL!!! But I will say, Robert & Mindy run a great company, with great products and great service! He can install what you purchase online or what he uses. He provides pros and cons to let you decide what choice to go with without pressure. 2. Russell and Cory came promptly at the time they said they were and pretty much finished in 2 hrs time as promised. 3. During the installation process, both of them walk you through the machine and tells you the do's and dont's and explain what they are doing throughout. I highly recommend R&S if you are considering a softener. Water flowed from the reverse osmosis after he did that. He told us to wait to use it and let the tank fill up. Hours later It did not fill up and he is now saying he is not responsible for anything. He said we probably need a new unit. What a waste of money - he has been reliable and good for years but something has happened. He installed the unit for us 10 years ago and has always serviced it. Thereafter, Angel and his father failed to provide us with a copy of any of the warranties or contracts, despite numerous requests and their promises to provide. At the one-year point, they came and changed out the filters, which they had promised would be free, but Angel Sr. said the cost was $300. Unfortunately, as we never received any paperwork on the warranty or contract, we had no idea what we should do. Now (July 2025), and we're having issues with the system, and they are not responding to our texts or phone calls. Thankfully, Penguin Water in Indiana has been great. Their technical support is walking me through my own repairs. Interestingly, they have no information that I, or my phone number or my address, ever purchased a Penguin System from Angel.
