Meritage Homes hired them for free drinking water install so I thought why not. $1500 for a filter and $5,500 for both a filter and softener. The filter alone was insufficient as I was still breaking out in hives. I asked to speak with someone to work something out since $5,500 is an arm and a leg and I haven't heard from anyone though I've been reaching out since November 29th. Someone by the name of Ev said he was trying to call me back last night but it wasn't going through. I called back last night and today 5 times and my call is being "forwarded" to voicemail. I need help from the Yelp community on how I can get this filter uninstalled so that I can work with a different company. I don't want to have to take Zyrtec in order to avoid hives after taking a shower. It's been a true nightmare working with Dupure. I would say don't risk it because if the filter doesn't work as it should they will avoid you.

Guess what? I get a call, and all that is said is "that was a system generated email for all new installs".... and appt.for a week from today. No apology for all the actual issues and what can we do to make it right and you happy. After doing my due diligence by checking the BBB, Google, Yelp, and Angi reviews, I reached out to several companies for their feedback and estimates for replacement. I received a lot of data but also received several extreme estimates and a couple of not interested comments. I began to believe what I thought was a pretty straight forward replacement was getting to be too complicated and an extremely expensive endeavor. That is until I contacted Aqua Systems and worked with Richard De Young and his team of professionals. After doing a sanity check with Richard, my faith was restored that this was a simple replacement and more importantly a very reasonably priced replacement. Richard and his team at Aqua Systems worked with me to identify an excellent option and schedule the replacement. Technician Luis arrived on time, even though we were experiencing a rain storm, and within a little over an hour, he had completed the replacement and we were back to an operational status with filtered water. BTW, we never lost water. Luis put us into a bypass so we continued to have water while he did the replacement. We were never inconvenienced. Just pick up the phone and call them directly! All the Yelp form does is add a delay in response time!) Within a couple of days I had a plumber (and his apprentice) at my home to check out what I needed. They gave me a reasonable price estimate and let me know there might be additional cost if the flange under the toilet needed repair or replacement. Because their quoted price was reasonable I decided to go ahead with them for the work. They were able to schedule the work quickly and the plumber came back, new toilet in hand, and did a quality job! The flange was in good shape so I avoided the extra expense I had been warned about.
