I spent $120 on a powder dip mani and a fell pedi. In ONE day, the polish started to peel, so I went back for them to repair the Nail. Then a couple of days later two more Nails started to chip. I couldn't believe I had to go back again. How many times do I have to go back to a salon to get a nail manicure repaired in the first four days. After that I gave up when the rest of them started to peel or break off I just got out my crazy glue and ultimately took the polish off entirely. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Compared to other prices in the area it was on the expensive side and one of the worst mani/pedis I've ever gotten. read more

Me and my daughter stopped in for a pedicure before getting on our cruise ship tomorrow. My daughter is very sensitive and likes the least amount of touching. It's hard to give this anything more. I got a gel mani and pedi. Sure they took me in quick on a random Tuesday. I am not a fan of the technique of applying the polish. I got the deluxe pedi. Barely pushed my cuticles back or buffed my nail bed. Same with my nails in my hand. I had to tell the woman to cap my nails only because I remembered that's an important step to gel polish lasting as it's intended. She had no clue and barely did it. Then she filed pain after it was cured. I'm just not a fan. I hope these last at least a week. read more

Called at 9am for a 9:15 appointment. Was asked to come in at 9:45 instead. Ok. I arrive at 9:45 and am the only client there. Four workers. One client. Mmmm. Why did I need to wait an extra 30 minutes? I was asked FOUR times by three different people if I wanted a pedicure after I said I wanted a dip manicure. Annoying. Ana, a young woman who did my dip powder manicure, did not put any cuticle softener on my nails before she painfully scraped them back. Ouch! When she was using the rotating file on my nail, she was pretty heavy-handed and made two of my cuticles bleed. She was also the only one of the four employees answering the phone, adjusting the music and answering her cell phone. The other three people were curled up in pedicure chairs sleeping or watching their phone. My manicure turned out LOOKING nice, but I left with two painful cuticles. The shop is tired and somewhat dirty - the floors needed cleaning, old and faded rugs, worn office chairs... If you're okay with all of the above, the end product is fine. It's just getting through all of it that wasn't fun. read more

I'm a hairdresser, I'm picky about my feet, and my pedicure was fantastic! Not only did she massage each leg more than two minutes; she gave me a couple of massages. Gel nail polish came out fantastic as well. My feet looked BAD after cleaning up from flooding. They look like new feet!! They waxed my brows too, no pain. I come here to get my eyelashes done by Jenny. I have to say, I have not seen anyone who does it for cheap. $45 for a refill? Seriously? Yaaaas, lol. She is so friendly and patient. And they end up looking really well. I get compliments all the time. That being said, I will say, I do not enjoy the actually eyelash experience. And I don't think it's her fault, but probably my eye sensitivity. First, the adhesive on the guard for my lower lashes irritate my eyes and they start to water. It takes her almost 15 minutes just to get that right. and once she gets the eyelashes on the aroma of the glue continues to make my eyes water. She is having to constantly separate my extensions to keep them from clumping. When I leave my eyes are red. But the next day, they are beautiful. They really stay on there. So even with my frustrations with the irritations from the glue, she does an exceptional job, at a very good deal. Only costed me $80 for the initial. read more

My nails are still burning and it's been 5 hours. Every nail is a different length. I have crooked nails. And I'll have to attempt to fix them myself before tomorrow. Which is fine. I asked for acrylic nails with regular polish & thats what i got. When i sat down in the chair i noticed some tools & even a lotion bottle that was just looked absolutely disgusting. Anytime he used a tool, it was dirty & had nail shavings from the last person which is very unsanitary. As he was putting my nails on i noticed some were crooked, so i pointed it out to him & he said "its fine", which they were clearly crooked. Also, he was so rough on my nails & i felt like he was rushing to do them for some reason. He was using the drill so fast & it hurt very badly. He didn't have me wash my hands to get the nail shaving off whatsoever. The shape on one hand doesn't match the other & i'm not very happy with them at all. I don't recommend going here if you're looking for a clean, excellent nail salon. read more

I hate giving bad reviews, but either I got the wrong people or wanted the wrong service but it really was awful. I had a pedicure, which was ok, even though there were some cuticles snipped a little deep, but the girl who gave me a dip manicure should not be doing dip manicures. She used the electric file so much she had my fingers sore in places when she got off the nail, and my nails are so thick they look ridiculous, plus there is residue on the edges, etc. etc. etc. If I had time, I would go back and just have her take it all off, but unfortunately I don't. These people may be great for regular manicures and pedicures, but I definitely would advise against a dip. It was just not a good experience and there wasn't even a good feeling from the people there. I'm sorry, but I definitely won't be going back. read more

She was very rude to me, appeared to be nice to everyone else there. She just pointed at the seat that she wanted me to sit in then walked off. She had a very angry look on her face and demeanor. I asked her if she was ok. She replied yea I'm fine". All of the other clients were looking at her and the way she was treating me. I think that they were just as appalled as I was. I never had loyalty when getting my nails done. But I do now. I will go back to Aqua Nails at every opportunity. Their facility is very large and if they cannot start on you right away they get you checked in and in a seat regardless. They offer complimentary beverages and pretzels. The man at the front desk is incredibly friendly and remembered me after just two visits. They are up to date on the latest styles. My friend got the best stiletto acrylics she has ever had (by Rikki). And when we came in the next time, she got awesome blood drip nails even better than the Pinterest picture. I am so excited about Aqua Nails! Brand new massage pedi chairs, fresh paint, new tile, very clean salon. The owners are so incredibly nice and do great work. The prices are on par with other Nail Spas in town. I think they actually have a more extensive selection of polish choices, both gel and regular old school. I love that they're in Campeche Cove plaza, close to home. Always plenty of parking here and it's going to be even more convenient in the summer than having to drive all the way down the Seawall. Aqua nails is open late (7:30) for those of use who work late or can't get out before 5. I'm really hoping they do get busy and stay in business. read more
