They renovated the salon in the last two years or so, and have upgraded massage chairs, give you a warm neck cushion, and a complimentary drink with your services. The atmosphere is usually very pleasant. Today I had an uneventful experience with my pedicure, but unfortunately with my manicure, two of my nail beds started bleeding after the cuticles were trimmed (I think they went a bit too deep with cleaning up my cuticles). So next time I might ask the nail tech to go a bit easy on the cuticles, but she was very apologetic about it and that wouldn't deter me from going back. Unfortunately I have to say that I had a bad experience in this place. The gentleman who attended me provided me with a terrible service, he didn't even apply oil or clean my nails when he finished. I had to wait for an hour for them to see me even though I had an appointment. So that after this the gentleman has mistreated my nails completely, his treatment was very abrupt and it hurt me too much. Very bad experience so that later they charged me 80 dollars. And the worst thing, although I told this gentleman that he had hurt me, he didn't care and continued with his other client as if nothing had happened. Many thanks to the last girl who helped me by putting something on me to calm the pain and clean the blood. September 6, 2023 Nikki did my acrylic overlay of my own nails; requested clear with blue powder (blue just on tips) ABC, blue to be straight across the nail, not oval or round. *price starts at $50* From the beginning, I kept explaining that... soo, THAT didn't happen w/Nikki. I got a very light pink on my nail bed and an oval shape for the blue powder tip??? Nooo. Gigi did my pedi and took over the nails when I didn't like it; she's great. Took over 2 hours from start to finish. Ugh. Breakdown $50 base $10 cuticle trim---WOW! $10 take off $10 French tip look $80 plus $34 for BASIC pedi They took $10 off for some reason (maybe because it started off wrong, I dunno, but I'm thankful considering the nickle and diming on every little thing) $104 total plus $16 tip *if you get a full set, the "take off" is free* I just don't get WHY this isn't a refill, it's my own nails. Whoa KT Nails has gone through a major upgrade on all levels. The interior is gorgeous, customer service is second to none, and quality of pedicure is top notch. There's seriously so many pedicure chairs. Maybe 20? I didn't count but it had to be 10 on each side. They're all super new and clean and function, unlike some places where the massager doesn't work or won't slide or something. Not the case here - all sparkly clean. Speaking of clean - the entire place was spotless from the entryway to the perfectly organized polish station, manicure stations and pedicure chairs. They have a gorgeous island display of the salts available that's beautiful and convenient. There are giant tvs playing peaceful aquarium slides with calming spa music in the background (I truly appreciated this!!! I don't like the annoying random TVs playing). It felt like a spa and not just a nail salon. I didn't ask if she's the owner or manager, but a very tall young woman greeted us, checked in often, brought drinks, etc. They have wine & bubbles which is always nice. Gigi truly gave the most amazing pedicure ever. The best either of us have ever had. She took such pride in the quality of her work and the heels were super dry and cracked. Very confused by my recent visit for mani/pedi with Chrome Powder. My pedicurist did everything the same way as my past visit, but the manicurist did not use a soak, dremmeled my nails even though I had no color, proceeded to dip my nails in powder suggesting it was too raise the nail bed, then proceeded to dremmel my nails again removing the dip powder. Finally, she chrome powdered and shellaced my nails. I was charged $48 for dip powder that I never requested and my nails were bumpy since she never rinsed of my nails. It seems the staff needs more training. read more

We visited KT Nails three days ago. We visited it over Magic Nails because of its rave reviews. My nails are decent. However, my mom's nails came out so poor. They're thick and bumpy. One of her nails' polish has come off completely. Additionally, I was charged for adding a tip under my nail. It's a minimal issue, but I wasn't advised of that when I was getting my nails done. The color selection of the polish was perfect they have every shade you can think of! Unfortunately I didn't get her name, but the nice lady who did my pedicure was so sweet and took her time on the preparation of my feet before the polish, which is rare in my opinion of most nail salons who just rush through the maintenance of prepping the nails and feet. I am being brutally honest. I have never paid so much for a dip mani +extra $10 on top of the $40 for a manicure, which was barely a little 2 min soak with her using the drill to clean off my nails. I had only a clear top coat on them to start. Since I did not choose color fast enough ( I felt rushed to pick color) I was sent to the chair for pedicure. I had gel on my toes. They had me soaking a few minutes only to have me pull feet out & the lady used a large emery board on my toes to buff down polish. It was too big & I received several small abrasions near my toenail beds. When the alcohol was applied it burned . Even made me tear. I was getting very frustrated. The owner said let her know if I need anything due to worker not understanding too much English. I understood that, but tequnique level definatley not up to par. I have had manicures & pedicures all over the country. This was close to the worse. First sign no price list on wall or sign. My mistake for not getting the total price upfront. won't ever make that mistake again. The basic pedicure apparently is $36 +20 for gel. Never had only emery board to shape nails instead of clipping, then tonfile. Of course, when I brought this up, she had already filed too low. Was very disappointed. I had been cruising for several weeks, so I was looking forward to this. In California & other areas when you ask for a gel mani & pedi the price is together with a deluxe pedicure, usually no more than $80 then tip. Here, they charged $106.
