Had nails done. There is nail dust in polish and nail is lumpy. Underneath the nail is extra nail goo and nail edges are rough. The tips were not painted. Got fixed at another salon where I got my pedi. This was my 3rd and last time! read more

Finally a place that gives me exactly what I want. I go to a really nice place in the Heights in Houston and so we were staying at the condos right around the corner and yes, the shopping center does have some empty spots, but I had also been here before when they were more businesses so I knew it was a quality place. They didn't try to talk me into anything, but I didn't want anyone. I wanted super short round nails and my cuticles cleaned really deep and for my nails to be buffed shiny and they did exactly that. The price was right the guy working on me was so nice and I am so thankful to have found a good nail place. There's plenty of parking And you're in and out of there in no time. read more

Hey guys, if you can't reach your toes or your significant other doesn't want to cut your nails this is a great go to place . Actually make or female they are quick service, however I would recommend a reservation . They can get very busy . Easy parking and reasonably priced . My wife and I go as a couple and get some lunch afterwards. read more

May 3, 2021 Came in because I heard Ty was the guy to see here...well...hmm?!! I had been doing dip powder for years...switched to gel in February. My fingernails were my own and too long for work so, I wanted cut down and a dip refill. Ty got the powder but, didn't "dip" my fingers in it...he used it like an acrylic topcoat. I asked him and he said, it was quicker? I'm like ok? Soo, he gets the nails done like that and they're not solid looking...the color is streaked. (matte) No can do, son. I asked him to start over on those nails (6 of them) and dip them this time. He somewhat argued but was nice about it...said that dip would cause the same streak effect...I'm like, it shouldn't...never has before? Soo, alas the dip color prevails! Got pedi from Jackie and the daisies painted on 4 of my nails by Sara (Ty doesn't do nail art) Note to self...a lot for extra time I've had Sara before because she used to be at Aqua nail on west end Oh! And Ty said they don't do chrome just design. Limited services. Not unusual for the island nail salons. Prices have gone up $5 across the board. read more

It can be a bit scary trying to find a good place for a pedicure when you're on vacation- Don't let the faded signs outside fool you- once inside, you'll forget all about them. We were came in for pedicures, after a long day of travel, and walked a mile from our hotel to get here. We were seated in the massage chairs immediately and offered a beverage. We opted for the #4 service. The hot stone massage and heated neck pillow were simply amazing. They added to the already lovely experience. The actual massage on my tired legs and feet was one of the best I've ever had. They made sure that we were both comfortable and relaxed throughout. Tye polish selection is plentiful! We will definitely come back to this place the next time we're in Galveston! read more

I'm never disappointed with the quality and artistic ability I receive and observe at this nail salon! I show them and idea of what I want and they make it better!!! Jackie did my nails and she sill forever be doing my nails for now on! Not only did I leave looking like a dime piece they let me run out mid session to get my kids from day care! I paid first of course!! Started freaking out cuz I couldn't locate my card and the glitter power started to smear. Then they said they do Apple Pay!! And I was like yea Praise God! Let's do it! I even got my homegirl a gift care since she couldn't make it. The pink nails are some glue on nails I found on Amazon (I always look there for cute ideas) the purple set is what Jackie did. She even plucked my eyebrows and a little on my lip because I have sensitive skin and don't like hot wax that's been sitting all day touching my face. read more

So disappointed. Did deluxe pedicure, nails and wax. Feel my toes look worse than when I went in. Cut the side of my foot and didn't even put antiseptic on it. Cut nails so short left ingrown sides with all the rough skin still around the nails. Didn't remove the polish from previous pedicure so you can see it on the edges. A different person did eyebrows and you can't even tell I had them waxed. $120 mistake. read more

It was $35 for a 35 minute pedicure that only lasted 20 minutes, but I was still charged $35. The price list indicates that there is a massage included and that didn't occur. Also I noticed that they did not have their tools in sanitizers. Chairs are old and all they do is shake you. read more

Bonjour Nails has reset my bar for salon expectations to a new high! I took a chance on my little sister's first pedicure experience by taking her to this new place, and let me tell ya, it did not disappoint! + Our techs were sweet and service was friendly and efficient. + Prices were not posted but were reasonable. $24/basic pedicure which includes cleaning around the nails, hot towels, and foot and calf rub & scrub. + + All their equipment came in sterilized packets and there was hardly a trace of the "nail smell". I went in for a full set, I wasn't given an option to do regular polish or shellac, the lady just went and did powder and hustled me $40?? I was super confused but I'm not the type to be like no stop if she already did it. I asked to cut my cuticles, the lady didn't soak my hands in water, she did her powder and just pretend to cut a few pieces of cuticles at the end and my cuticles are still not clean. I asked her and she was like I know what I'm doing... she rushed me out of there so fast. However she was nice and it wasn't like the worse full sets I've ever gotten (although my left thumb look funky af) otherwise I'd be flippin tables. They were busy so maybe other people are good but I wouldn't know because I'm never coming back read more

4 of us came for pedis and manis. Nice people but they chatted with regulars instead of paying attention to us. gelled a paint brush hair into my nails and when pointed out never corrected. left nail polish on our fingers and toes. set of nails for my granddaughter was anything but like the photo provided. totally a very disappointing job overall. Two stars was a kindness. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a nail shop. I called to see if me and my friend could come by and get a pedicure. Over the phone they said they were opened however once we got there they said that an appointment was necessary. Ok fine that's not a big deal however the guy was completely rude. He didn't ask if we wanted to schedule an appointment or come back, it was as if he was rushing us out. I cannot judge there work but the customer service is horrible. I understand because of the pandemic there are certain measures taken to keep everyone's health and safety a priority but I have the feeling they didn't want to service me cause of my race. I hate to come to bold conclusions like this but just due to his nonchalant and rude manner I'm forced to believe this is the reason I wasn't serviced. read more

Hands down the best nail salon in the area. The nail techs are congenial and the place is very sanitary. Two things you usually don't get from nail salons....IMO. I always get a full set with French tips or a refill. You can never tell the difference of the refill part and the old part of the acrylic nail. Jackie is great!! Ask for her! read more

Deluxe Pedicure was ok, like a 6/10 . Gel Manicure was insulting! I don't understand this flare shape that they love at this salon and think is "natural". My nails were in PAIN for 4 hours and still hurt a bit 12 hours later. After it became excruciating, I discovered a bunch of gel under my fingernails that I used a tweezers to scrape off, giving some relief, but there's still some I can't reach. OUCH. No clean up was done. Tell them if you want cuticle care... they used a dremel to buff my nails, scraping the cuticles and were just going to leave them raggedy until I mentioned it at the end. Gross. Then, she cut them showing me "wow there's so much cuticle!" ... umm yeah! That's why I came in for a manicure, hello?! I didn't just come to get the signature duck foot shaped fingernail. It took 3 attempts to make a very simple geometric nail art design (a triangle in a circle) so stick to your Basic flowers and swirls. My nails are wavy in some places and look hideous. read more

My girl Bic is on point with my eyebrows. She always does a fantastic job. My companion and I come in for pedicures together, she loves Bic so I let her have my appointment I had T last time and boy that man gave me the best leg and foot massage I have ever had. I could feel it for days. I left with my feet silky soft. Love this place. I am a walk in for eyebrows but it's good to make an appt for other services if you have a favorite technician. read more

BEWARE AND DON'T GO HERE!!! The place was so rushed and the lady did my powder nails super sloppy and I spent over $100 for crappy service. Not very clean and my nails are in pain and possibly infected from their poor job!! I had the express and my friend next to me had the same pedicure and they gave a different service to each of us for the same price. Unorganized very rude people! read more

Love how clean the place is and how friendly everyone is here. Extensive menu of services and complimentary wine or soda/water! They own several different shops on the island and I like them all; this one is just closest to my house. You won't be disappointed! Update: Ever since the blood clots from an allergic reaction to stem cell harvesting meds, my left foot has given me problems, but Michelle here really knows how to get it to look halfway normal! They almost amputated it so I am lucky to have it! And the massage chairs here do not hurt my back! read more

Easily the BEST pedicure I've ever had!!!! I went to Bonjour Nails with my mom on a Wednesday afternoon for pedicures after hanging out on the island. We're new to the area and didn't really know where to go, so we turned to Yelp. This place had a really high rating and good reviews so we decided to check it out. We were definitely not disappointed. We opted for the $30 basic pedicure, however that included sugar scrub, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax. My technician also spent plenty of time "fixing" my heels and giving me a stellar foot massage. All of the ladies were really nice and the establishment itself was clean and inviting. Long story short - if you're looking for a nail salon in Galveston you should definitely check out Bonjour Nails!!!!!! read more

I have been here on five different occasions now since my last review. In fact I am here now updating my post. Same treatment, it's convenient but I am finding a new shop. My nails were nice. Place is lovely and doesn't have that strong product smell. I gave it 2.5 because I always get more than the basic treatment and they never offer me water or wine like they do to other clients. May be they think bc I am of an ethnic background, I won't tip. I still tipped both times. Will try somewhere else where the treatment of clients is consistent. read more

I wish I wasn't just visiting Galveston, because this would be my nail salon! The ladies at Bonjour Nails are professional, friendly and most importantly do a fantastic job on your nails. My boyfriend & I stopped here while on vacation, and could not have had a better experience. The price was right too! Deluxe pedi was $30, and we both got manicures (shellac for me). Our total ended up being $108. Can't beat that! Our pedis came with a great massage and even though they were busy, I was very happy they took so much time on us. I would suggest calling in advance, as it seemed they got busy and had to ask people to come back. It is a smaller place so I understand. This place can not be beat! Beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico while you get your mani pedicure! A selection of white or red wine or water during your relaxing spa treatment. A lot of local people visit regularly for great pedicure treatments that include hot towels, hot rocks, and paraffin, and massage, very relaxing! They do get busy with tourists and weddings as well so while walk ins are welcome you might want to book an appointment. A very nice spot on the island to try! read more

My worst nail experience.... EVER. Not only did I receive terrible service (see pictures if you don't believe me!!), but I had a gift card here that the salon REFUSED to honor. I paid $50 to not have my cuticles trimmed, for my manicurist to not paint my nails down to the cuticle, to get slanted toenails and to get sloppy work with polish still on my skin. Absolutely atrocious, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more

I am picky nail salon person, having gotten regular manicures for the last 25 years. They must be clean, peaceful, not rush me, but not too too slow, leave me with the nail look I want, and be nice. This is my favorite nail salon. 'Nuff said. The shoulder massages, facial massages and massage chairs are all excellent, as well. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes they are too slow. Hopefully this review won't increase that problem. read more

I can't rate the work here but the management team definitely rude. I called before I came to make sure they were open the lady told me yes. I went there and the guy opened the door , no hello or greeting. They then said we had to have an appointment to be seen. I would think the lady on the phone would have mentioned it. Not only did they say we needed appointment they were just really rude about it. They didn't attempt to make us an appointment nor did they invite us back. Maybe they have particular clients the prefer to serve that don't look like me. Regardless in this day in time I would think they would be happy for new business. Never Again!!! read more

So next time I might ask the nail tech to go a bit easy on the cuticles, but she was very apologetic about it and that wouldn't deter me from going back. This "tip" was for what, exactly? The service was nonexistent. Not one single time in the 2 hours we were using the facilities (BEFORE our massage) did a single staff member check in on us except the initial walkthrough. We had to serve ourselves completely: The cold towels were not stocked. The razors were empty. My wife sat in the relaxation lounge for 40 minutes, but no one ever came to provide her neck warmer. She had to get up and dig through cabinets to find it herself. (As did I) I had to walk the halls in my robe just to find an employee to restock the cold towels and razors, and again just to get our water and champagne refilled. After our massage, the amenities were empty all over again. The facilities are broken. The steam room was dark with lights out, and one of the showers did not work. The staff was rude and incompetent. When we first tried to walk in, we were told it was "too much of a hassle." We called twice to schedule and clarify our order, and they still got it wrong when we arrived the next day. When we finally left, not one person at the front desk acknowledged us, said thank you, or asked how our service was. Our masseuse, Miss Holly, was the only professional person in the entire spa. She deserves to work at a better establishment. This spa is part of the larger Hotel Galvez, and our entire stay was a catastrophe that brought my new wife to tears. The management is rude, the rooms are broken, and the billing is deceptive. We are deeply saddened that a place that was once special to us (I proposed here: https://youtu.be/Ldo23DDiyn4) has completely collapsed. Do not waste your money here. We expect corporate management to take extraordinary steps to make this right.

How many times do I have to go back to a salon to get a nail manicure repaired in the first four days. After that I gave up when the rest of them started to peel or break off I just got out my crazy glue and ultimately took the polish off entirely. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Compared to other prices in the area it was on the expensive side and one of the worst mani/pedis I've ever gotten.
