We learned a lot and thought we had found the right brand at the right store at a decent price. Then she wanted to go to one more store, and I was reluctant but went...and boy was she right (this is not normal for her). Norvand was working with some other customers at first, but then showed us the brand we thought we'd settled on, then he compared it to a higher quality brand and gave us a remarkable price that almost felt too good to be true. He came off a bit blunt at first, but after working with him for a bit now, he is honest, genuine, and kind. His wife is also very nice, she works at the store as well. We did not have his team install the flooring as we already had a contractor, but he was very communicative throughout the whole process (even after we needed to order 3 extra boxes after coming up short) and he was straightforward. We got LVP, moisture barrier plastic, and MDF base boards, all at prices that were great. He even stored my dolly over night when I forgot it there during the pick-up. Big fan. A must stop when looking at flooring!!

We were totally satisfied and will recommend Tuffshed Ventura to anyone who is looking for a good & sturdy shed. For ground preparation, we used Tuffshed recommended (by Ms. Regina Hughes) handyman, Mr Luis Piceno's crew. They came early on the appointment date and under the burning sun, completed the whole nine yard of cutting concrete block, removing dirt, and repacking the ground before laying out the weed barrier cloth for gravels and sand. Mr. Piceno even moved my existing electrical connection to the appropriate corner and once the shed is done, he reconnected to the shed. The installation of the shed was also done quickly and systematically. The end product was amazing as can be seen in the enclosed picture. The installation crew was also very cognisant and dedicated to what they did. Finally, I'll shout out to Ms Regina Hughes for keeping in touch with us through out the installation process. Stopped at Lowe's but was sent here as what I needed would take over a week to get delivered. At Ferguson ... staff isn't the friendliest . Many walked past me without even asking if I needed assistance as I walked up and down the valve aisle like a dummy. Anyway I couldn't find what I needed and was helped by one of the workers once I walked up to the register. Not sure I'd stop by again. 3.5/ 4 because it's a plumbing store .. not supposed to be the cheeriest of places but I do expect a certain level of customer service.

The forklift broke down 3 days into using it, but that is not the reason for my dissatisfaction. I tried to call the day it broke down, but I'm sure they were closed since it was after 5 PM on a Friday so no one answered. We attempted to use a different forklift of ours, but that one broke down too. When we called to either have someone from their team bring us another forklift or repair the broken one, Steve was extremely unprofessional. He first began by accusing us of lying by asking why we didn't report it as soon as it broke down. Then, he becomes adamant that it wasn't running correctly because it was out of propane, which wasn't the case. Then, he starts to threaten me on what it's going to cost to get someone to come and assess needed repairs. The whole time he was being very accusatory, unprofessional, and rude. Eventually, I told him to just arrange for someone to come pick up the forklift. If he's a "manager" for this company (as he stated), they are in very bad shape. I am going to STRONGLY recommend people to never rent anything from this business and will personally NEVER rent anything from them again.

The city of Santa Paula is beyond lucky to have a hardware store!…read more I think the outside of the store is misleading as it may seem a very small store. But, it's actually quite large inside! I come in here often; have had keys made, bought some yard signs and locks that were needed. And, huge huge shout out to one of their employees a few months ago. Wish I had gotten his name! I came in as my keyfob remote had crapped out. There was a young man who went over and above to try to help me figure out the issue! He came outside to my car with me, had some technical electrical thing that he used to try to help determine if my car was "reading" the fob or not. We even checked a new battery just in case. Come to find out, it didn't need a new battery: my keyfob no longer works in my 15 year old car. :( But big thanks to the employee who helped me *finally determine it was not a battery issue. Staff is pretty good which is so nice to experience. Of course, during the covid, they all have masks on. I didn't notice if they offered sanitizer at the front door, but they do have a "one way door IN and another door OUT", which is per usual at most businesses now it seems. I just recently found out that they carry Ginger Chews. Who would have known!? I would recommend this Ace Hardware and I know that Santa Paula could sure use the support, too.
