Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this company. The owner seems to be very sincere. However his worker pretty much ruined my pool by not taking care of it. You pay for a service and you expect things (Pool) to be taken care of but not my experience with this company. After suspicions that my pool was being neglected. I contacted the owner (Chris) and advised of my pool condition and expressed that I wanted service on a day closer to the weekend. I understood he was busy but still we both agreed that if pool was properly maintained it should not be deteriorating within 3 days. So I began to personally observed Chris's worker (Jordan) ... last straw, after his last service day I checked his work pool was filthy with a plastic bottle still at bottom of pool. Pool was a greenish/yellow tint. Vacuum basket was full. Skimmer basket dirty AND contained a dead bird. Now, I know he checked the skimmer basket because he put (2) 3" chlorine tablets in it (which is a big no no). Side note-- A reputable Pool company and it's workers should know why to NEVER EVER put chlorine tablets in the skimmer basket, I won't go into to details but if you would like to know why google or YouTube it. After notifying Chris (the owner) of my findings he never did anything to correct this issue or offer any help or compensation, not that I need it but it's an ethics and principal thing (you know the right thing to do). Sorry Chris but this review is a direct result of YOUR company neglecting my pool. Nothing personally against you as a person but you are ultimately responsible for all the people you hire, plus you did nothing to fix the problem. If you look at my reviews (if any) you'll see that I am fair and seldom say anything- easy going and understanding guy but this was like i told you ridiculous. I will never recommend this company. My choice - Great White Pools is taking care of me and your incompetence as a company. read more

I have had problems with other pool services; therefore, I now clean my own pool. But my pool heater went out and this was beyond my expertise. So I reached out to Aqua Doc and spoke to Chris. He was very friendly and professional, listening to my heater problem. He gave me a fair service repair quote and scheduled to come out to my home. He arrived and I immediately noticed that Chris is very polite. He opened up my heater and really looked it over. My fear was that the repair person would just take the easy route and tell me "you need a new unit". Chris was the opposite. I could see that he was interested in fixing the heater and at a fair price. Chris was able to find what the problem, order the part promptly and fix my heater. And all at a VERY fair price. If I ever decide to hire another pool service again to clean my pool, I will definitely have Chris do it. Because I know he cares and would do a good job. The most reliable and incredible pool service company I've ever worked with. Chris is so personable and the crew are just as friendly. Last March he recommended and I agreed to a new Hayward variable speed pump. Really lowered my electric bill as well as the rebates I received from both Edison and Hayward. Recently, I could not remove my salt cell. He came over, cleaned it, and added a conditioner to help preserve the chlorine. We discussed draining and acid washing next February. I have no doubt it will be remarkable and look brand new. read more

We needed a new heater for our pool/spa. Chris took care of everything and did an excellent job! He let us know about a new rebate program with SoCal Gas, and made sure to order one of the eligible energy efficient models. He removed and hauled away the old heater and installed the new one. Once the job was done, he went over everything, including the rebate information and process, and provided everything I needed to apply for it. I was very happy with Chris's communication and professionalism, and we are very happy to have use of a heated pool/spa again. read more

I moved to Rosamond last Fall to care for my elderly parents. Needless to say, their pool was suffering from serious neglect and I knew no one here. I turned to Yelp and found Chris and could not be more grateful. He is clear, calm and professional and responds in a timely manner. He tells me what needs to be done, and what can wait. He tells me when I can get a better deal buying a piece of equipment online versus having him get it for me. He is honest and does excellent work. It started with him repairing a leak, which then revealed a secondary leak that was being masked by the initial leak, and ultimately the need to replace the pool heater. He helped me find something that worked for our situation (elderly parents who like to swim but may not be able to spend much time in the pool at this stage), and directed me to a rebated offered by the gas company. We discussed the eventual need to replace the motor, resurface and re-tile the pool, and perhaps at some point have regular pool care.
