I like to give a big shout out to Robin (owner) & Brandon..(Technician)…read more.. okay; So this is reason for the shout out. I purchased "Polaris IQ Alpha-link robotic pool cleaner. My robot ran flawlessly. Never had a single issue. Until a couple of months ago. I noticed it would run then get stuck at the bottom of step. (Just stay there) only after I would nudged it gently it would run. However if i wasn't around to see it stuck at bottom of the step. (I would come back to see a half cleaned pool. I did the usual troubleshooting .,. checked the canister, checked the cable, checked the brushes, checked the wheels..checked the controller everything checked out. After exhausting even YouTube videos, to see how to fix the issue i gave up.. I spoke to Robin..even sent him a video of robot to show him the problem. I took it in..Brandon (Tech) stated he would run a diagnostic on it..call me with the result. I took it in on a Saturday. I was expecting Brandon to call Wednesday at earlies. To my surprise I receive a call from Brandon, not even hour after dropping the unit off! I'm dreading the bad news.. Brandon goes a say hey come pick up the robot ! I'll tell you. what the issue "was" when you arrive. When I arrived, he explains the internal gears had worn down on the wheels! Plus the repair was covered by the warranty! I took the time to write this (mini novel )! Because; today we as a society are quick to criticize when we experience bad service at a drop of a dime! Yet; few will take the time to express appreciation when you've experienced great service! Well that's the end.... Thank you Robin & Brandon!
