Aptive arrived at my door in July 2022. We signed up for a quarterly treatment for pest control. They came out to treat for ants in the kitchen on July 15. After a couple of weeks the treatment was not effective at all and we called them back out for a retreat on July 27th. We received and email stating they would be out for scheduled service on Aug 10th, obviously we are not yet due for a quarterly treatment so we called to cancel the service and ensure that we are set for QUARTERLY service. They arrived on August 15th to perform service that again is not quarterly and was not authorized to be performed. They issued an invoice for this "quarterly service." As to date we still have ants in our kitchen after 2 treatments. We have been billed for an unauthorized service while we were not at home so who knows what if anything was done. And after being on hold for 25 min, to cancel our contract the phone was disconnected on their end. No resolution has been made. read more

1. The Aptive missed the 1st appointment and I had to contacted the salesman a few times to reschedule. 2. The service person forgot to bring mice traps and promised to do re-service with mice traps next Saturday. But he never showed up. 3. I did confirmed with the salesman Dustin who promoted the service by knocking my door about the re-service. Dustin responded yes. But when I told him the service person did not keep his promise to do re-service, Dustin told me that I should contact the customer service not him. Obviously he made a different story from the first time. 4. I called Aptive a few times during weekends but the waiting time takes forever and no one answered my call. Seems like a dead customer service. 5. More worse, the ants and mesquites are still active as before after service. Overall, it is not a pleasure at all with Aptive. It is kind of wasting time and money, even hurting your mood. read more

Do not use this service, the biggest fraud on Pest Control, they need to Pest them self, Made an appointment and put my card to pay when they finished, they told me this day at 4:30 the tech came early I was not home, but my ring camera got him so I talk to him saying I will be home in 20 minutes, the house was close so he said he was going to another appointment, they will reschedule, they charge me $49 for other services and never deliver, I call for a refund and cancel, they told me let me get you a supervisor, he was like, please Ricardo let me fix and get you someone tomorrow doing the service, never got it, until 1week, I called and was 30 minutes to answer, after answer they told me let us transfer you to dept. refund, waited 45 minutes on hold, and now they charge me another $109 extra and they don't answer. Had door to door sales guy come by today. Told me they were doing pest control at my neighbor's. I verified with him about the neighbor then told him he wasn't because that neighbor had moved a while back. Told me apparently they were going to be paying for the service. Don't lie to my face when i call you out. Never deal with a company that lies. Verify on Yelp, BBB, or even their web site reviews before dealing with companies especially door to door sales people. read more

Unethical and unfair company - Due to financial and personal circumstances I requested Aptive people not to do the service in May/2020, during quarantine for Covid19. Instead of re-scheduling the service to the next month, they sent me the invoice for the early cancellation for $249. Last month, I got a letter from A.R.M. collection company to pay $249, and the collection company reported to credit bureau. Due to this, my credit point dipped by more than 50 points It is very disappointing and heartbreaking that Aptive has gone this far during this pandemic time. I had requested them to hold on to the service for few months due to the financial circumstances, and they came after me unfairly charging for the entire year as early cancellation fee for extending the service for just one month during national emergency and even reported to collection company. The collection company A.R.M. further reported to credit bureau. I talked to collection company regarding paying off my balance and and requested them to remove the collection record from the credit bureau. And collection did not even acknowledge that they had reported to bureau. My question to them was, how could I trust them to get that report removed after the payment if they don't even acknowledge reporting to the bureau on the first place. I do not have any other choice but to report it. I hope they are not doing this unfair and unethical practices with other families during this tough time. read more

This company needs to be investigated immediately cause I've seen the same reviews as mine. Josh Nikolich needs to be in jail for forging contracts, he is the rep who explained to me that my services were for 3 treatments and after those are over I would be able to either stop my services or add more. So after 3 treatments I call the office to put a hold on my services because it's nearing winter time and I barely see any pests. To my surprise I get told I signed a contract for 6 treatments and if I stop I have to pay $199 for a early cancellation and if I don't pay that it would also incur 2% interest on top of that. I distinctly remember signing for 3 treatments but I remembered one thing, after I had signed the rep never hit continue and I never even received an email of the contract till I called to stop treatments. Josh decided after I closed my front door to go ahead and add a few more treatments on his own. It was my fault for signing with this company and not submitting the contract till the end but I also didn't expect to be taken advantage of with a big company. I paid the $199 fee but I hope whoever reads this review STAYS far away from these people. It's a damn shame cause the actual technicians were really friendly but I doubt they know their company is involved in shady business practices... read more

The team at Aptive has been incredibly helpful, courteous, and kind every time they have come to work on our house. They always take the time to speak with us and make sure to address any area of the house that may have become a problem since their last visit. They remind us to let the spray dry before letting our pets out each time to ensure their safety and let us know when they are arriving and leaving so we aren't taken by surprise. Aptive has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. They originally scheduled my quarterly service and left 10+ messages, emails, and voicemails confirming the date. I took the day off of work and called for an estimated time of arrival. I was told I'm the 2nd house to be serviced and it should be around 8:30am. 9:45 comes around and no one shows up. I call again and they said that information wasn't correct. I'm not scheduled until 10-12. 12 comes around and no one shows up. I called again and they're telling me they don't know where the technician is and I need to reschedule to another date. They will not let you speak to a supervisor/ manager. read more

The first thing that blew me away was that I received an automated call letting me know my tech was 30 mins away from coming to my home. I have had to deal with this issue from many companies before and I love communication. It makes it that much better when it is open. Second, they were on time, friendly and answered all of my "obvious" questions. They even made suggestions to help minimize the risk of reinfestation of the ants and were respectful of the COVID-19 guidelines. read more

All the negative reviews are true here. This company would use any tactics out there to get you signed up for their services, then good luck trying to cancel afterwards. The sales person makes all kinds of false promises and statements about cancellation policies when they aggressively court you at your doorstep. Once you fail for their bait, good luck trying to get out. They want $260+ cancellation fee when you're trying to cancel, I'm so disputing that charge with my cc. Do not fall for the one time service....we purchased a one time service special. Three weeks after that there was a charge over $100 on my credit card. I called to see what it was and they stated it was for 3 month recurring service. I told them I had not authorized this service much less a recurring charge. The rep I spoke with pulled the paperwork and agreed saying I had not authorized the charges or the service. She stated I would be refunded with in 5 days. I have not received a refund and I have spoken with a manager. After 3 calls I still have not recieved my refund. read more

My home has a problem with wasp/mud-dobbers! There isn't anything that will really keep them from coming back, after you've broken their mud nests into a pile of dirt, except to keep scrubbing away any part left on your wall! The guys at Aptive Environmental have done everything including coming back 3 times in 5 weeks! They even found their little mud nests in my patio furniture's cushions! Now I think the little critters have learned these guys mean business! Thanks Aptive for hiring outstanding & through workers like Orlando Hill & Damian Martinez both of these guys found nests in the oddest of places and both deserve a gold star! read more

You get emails on scheduled dates so you can plan around them. Their system is easy to use and very efficient online. Their employees are all so nice and patient and communicate what they're doing and when they're leaving. You can call them out for free if you have anything that needs treated before you next service. read more

The tech did not have a uniform. When his sprayer tank got empty Galway he just filled water through hose my my back yard . Tech was not very confident of resolving the issue . After the sales call it is hell to get through customer service and was hung up several times . Would run away from dealing with this company . We hired Aptive two months ago and they have been out to our house to spray four different times. Unfortunately there are still bugs inside and outside of our house. We have had food on our countertop ruined several times because of ants. I called them today and found out that kids under 1 need to be out of the house for 2 hours until the spray drys. We have a 1 month old and this is the first time we are hearing of this. Last service guy that came out said nothing of this and just sprayed around our newborn that was being held in the living room. Despite all this trouble customer support said all they could do was give me a $20 discount. They are charging me $560 a year for a service they have yet to take care of. Sales reps do nothing but lie about what they treat for in the package! The techs are great and hard working and are more truthful on what's covered what's not. I only asked for treatments/bugs that are covered nothing more nothing less and had to get a second Contract with Arrow Pest Control. I've been a customer for less than 60 days. My contact was for $429 annually they have posted over $400 in charges to date on a quarterly bill cycle, less than $129 was approved contractually. They also posted over $500+ in invoices to date on my account in error. I have to constantly call and have my billing corrected they just charged me another $107 yesterday for no reason what a joke Very poor billing/double/tripple billing practices. Good thing I used a Credit Card I will be disputing being charges multiple times for a single quarterly visit. read more

I am absolutely delighted with my experience thus far with Aptive Environmental. Not only was my sales rep, Adrian, an absolute pleasure to work with, but my technician Alex Torres was just phenomenal! To begin with, Adrian was incredibly accommodating when I had to reschedule my initial service TWICE, but their customer service system is great at communicating reminders and arrivals for the day of service. Life is hectic, and unexpected things come up, but Adrian flexed and flowed like a ninja to make sure I got an appointment that worked best. Alex arrived on time and with the most wonderful attitude, and he made the time to run through what I could expect from his work. He patiently answered questions and very graciously tolerated my bossy little puppy. I was also incredibly impressed with the level of care and consideration Alex provided while he was in my home and on the property. He arrived clad appropriately given the COVID pandemic (clean, masked, properly dressed) and he used shoe covers the entire time he was in my home. He had to change covers a few times due to some complicated access points in my home, but he was diligent and completely attentive. Despite being in every single room in the home and on every square foot of the property outside, Alex was completely unobtrusive and allowed me to continue my own tasks with confidence that he was providing every element of the treatment as promised. This is one of those companies in the beginning they start out with a price point that's appealing and then once you are enrolled they start to slowly raise the prices. Watch out for the auto enrollment payment. The first year instead of 4 quarterly payments they charged me for 5. When I called about it they said they don't give refunds! Took a lot of my time with a supervisor to get that worked out, and the way they worked it out was a lot harder way to do it! Now into my second year I notice a $10 increase in each service fee! First off I think that is an extremely big jump in price. Secondly, trying to get in touch with anyone over the phone now Just isn't happening. Email support is the same. Noticed the last service they sent it 2 techs. The extra cost should be theirs to absorb for training someone and not mine to bear. In summation my bug pest problem is improved but now I have another pest of having to deal with billing and trying to get answers from their office. Beware! read more

Technician called upon arrival. Was home but VM picked up call. Per my visual observation, as confirmed by Ring video, technician completed virtually NONE of the contracted services. Disappeared out of my site for 10 minutes. May have been doing some work on the North side of the house, or may have been enjoying the shade.Can visually and provide video confirmation that he did not, on the West, South or back yard area, do the undereves dewebbing, no lawn inspection, no evident crevice treatment no evident under eves inspection. Did a very quick incomplete spraying. Never ever entered the back yard to spray or do any other services. This is the second time in recent treatments where we have received incomplete services. Called the local office to report but was on hold for over 30 minutes listening to very bad cello music. Finally called the national office to cancel. National office accepted cancellation but refused to credit account for services not given. Only willing to retreat. Frankly, I cannot trust these people to do the job unless I am visibly here to watch. If I cannot trust them, I don't want them here. read more

I've had them service my property for over a year now and it has been pretty simple. They've come out multiple times outside of my quarterly service like they said they would if I've encountered issues. Larry has been splendid. He has been here multiple times that he knows what to do even when I'm still half asleep. Thank you for being awesome. They have exceeded my expectations. Way better than Terminix, Orkin, or any other company trying to compete with them. Their route managers go above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied. A couple of weeks after my first service appointment I noticed ants in my yard and on the outside of my house also some funnel spider webs in my yard. Had two of them today knock on my door and told the first one I did not want their services and 3 hours later the next one came. Tried to call customer services to speak to a manager about these incidents and the representative put me back in the main selection menu. My husband and I elected to hire a pest control service as we lived in Fort Worth and our backyard backed up to a pasture. We didn't really see a huge difference so we elected to cancel. I was informed we were not able to cancel because we were in a contract. We had to pay over $100 per service that we didn't want. Fine. I'll ride out the contract. After what I thought was the last service, I cancelled. Or tried to. I was informed we cannot cancel if we have another appointment on the books. Ok. One more service I don't want, another $100+ dollars then PLEASE CANCEL. They didn't. So now I'm dealing with this 4 months later when we elected to cancel 10 months ago. The customer service is terrible, they have a million rules around cancelling and they're overpriced. And nearly impossible to reach - I was on hold for over 45 minutes and the call was mysteriously disconnected. Save yourself the headache and a bunch of money. Don't sign up for this service. I found a bottle of bug spray at Lowe's for $10 that does the trick. Less money. Less bull feces. read more
