Came home today to see my significant other being treated with the utmost respect and evidence of a job well done. Inspections are free and treatment is only suggested if needed. The gentleman, John, was a master of his craft and eased anxieties. Thankful and grateful an outstanding company like this exists locally. Will be using them for all future pest services. read more

Atrocious cancellation process. They make it nearly impossible. They will a straight up hang up on you when you try to cancel. "Oh you can only talk to this person and she's out to lunch." At 3pm? Had to call from a different phone to even get through, then they try to charge you for more months because of some BS contract that "you agreed to" which is in the fine print at the bottom of some service receipt. Totally disingenuous company. Would never recommend. Disputing all charges on my CC. read more

The last time was the only time the technician actually rang my doorbell to let me know he was here and to introduce himself. I suspect some of the others who were scheduled to come did not actually do so and I was charged for the service anyway. I know I had too many spider sacs for them to be treating my property as they proposed. I had also been seeing wasps which Alamo's treatments were supposed to prevent. In the nine or ten months they were supposed to come, I actually saw only two people come to my house for the purpose of treating for unwanted pests, and I don't know if they did what they were supposed to do or not, read more

I was a customer of Alamo Pest Control for nearly 10 years, and unfortunately my experience trying to cancel service left me extremely disappointed. I sold my home and moved to an area that Alamo does not service. Every representative who contacted me about my cancellation asked why I was leaving, and every time I gave the same answer: I no longer own the home where service was being provided. The problem wasn't the monthly charge--it was the cancellation process and customer service. I was told that I would still be charged for June because my cancellation request was recorded on May 12, even though I recall contacting the company earlier. Regardless, I don't understand why it takes weeks to process a cancellation. There appears to be no clear paper trail or straightforward process for cancelling service. Customers have to speak with a representative, but there is no immediate written confirmation and no transparency around when the cancellation actually becomes effective. It feels like the company decides the cancellation date rather than the customer. What was most disappointing was being told that my contract from 2017 wasn't set to renew until September and that the representative was "graciously" canceling it early. After nearly a decade as a loyal customer, I expected appreciation and professionalism, not the feeling that I was being done a favor. To make matters worse, I was told I would receive an email confirming my cancellation, but instead I received an email asking me to submit a written cancellation request. If written notice was required, why was I instructed to call and speak with multiple representatives in the first place? Alamo's pest control service itself was generally fine. My issue is with the lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and poor treatment of a long-term customer during the cancellation process. The company should do better. read more

They were okay until I tried to cancel. Seeing other reviews it looks like I am not the only one. I Sold a house and they will not cancel service until I call a service rep. I tried a couple times but the phone was never answered so I sent them an email. They are still refusing to cancel until I talk to a rep. read more

We had some acrobat ants that had no interest in bait or poison. So we had to call the professionals. They were able to come the same day we called. Performed a one time spray and the ants are gone. Been a week now. It was a little pricey at $190 bucks but it worked. read more

Today we had Erick C. come by and HE SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS in making sure he covered our home inside and outside with treatment and did it with great care especially because we have little dogs in our house. Erick C. was VERY CONCERNED AND CARING ABOUT HIS JOB and I just want to recommend everyone to Alamo Pest Services. Thanks so much! read more

I called on a Thursday and Daniel came out next day! All staff has been super friendly and accommodating. They put my mind at ease and are already calling for my next appointment. I love efficiency! Plus they're a local company with only local numbers. Gotta Love that! They are much cheaper than our previous company that never followed up and half the time they didn't show up! read more

They try to lock you into a year contract. Then do everything they can to keep your card billing. Worst is their services are less effective than Home Defenses. read more

The service was great - however, we moved SIX months ago and continued to be auto-billed for a monthly service for a house we no longer live in. We've tried to change our credit card number and still are getting billed. We are now owed $389, and they are not returning our phone calls. Avoid signing up for anything long-term with this company because you won't get your money back. read more

Axel Leach was very courteous, took his time speaking with me about our spider situation, and made sure to let me know when he was finished with the job. I appreciate the communication and his attention to detail. read more

We have been loyal customers of Alamo for over 6 years and recommend them any chance we can get. They have such a quick response time when insect or pest issues pop up and are able to move up our regular service if we happen to see an increase in activity. I love that we get service reminders and don't have to do any of our own scheduling for regular treatments. read more

I have used Alamo termite & pest control for many years. Their technicians are always so courteous and professional. Leland Mullins treated my home this morning. He went above and beyond in treating my home. He explained everything he had done and I feel we are in good hands. Thank you Mr Mullins read more

I didn't feel they did thorough job. I am seeing more bugs, spiders and flying insects than before treatment. I will not use them again.

Miss having you guys . I wish I never canceled Alamo since I've canceled them last year. I've been having bugs in my house. Backyard hasn't been updated . We had signed up with Truly Nolan and I wish we have never did, but I will be coming back to Alamo read more

I was referred to Alamo by one of their existing customers. Used the online scheduler (very easy and responsive) to request a free home inspection. Daniel W. arrived for my requested next-day appointment. I was immediately at ease with his professional appearance and friendly greeting. The appointment just got better as Daniel explained the various pest control processes, how they are performed and the time each would take. He then did a walk through of my home and truly listened to my concerns. I was impressed with Daniel's knowledge and confidence in presenting the different options. I elected the one-year service agreement and watched him go to work safely and carefully treating the interior. I watched from inside as he removed (thank goodness!) all the spider webs and nests from the front and back patios and along the eaves. I am thoroughly impressed with Daniel and Alamo Pest Control and highly recommend them. read more

I had wasps in my attic and couldn't get to their nest, nor did I want to. Alamo Pest sent a great technician- Leeland- who removed all nests, in the attic and outside under the eaves. He sprayed a substance in the attic to kill any remaining wasps. He also sprayed a liquid under the eaves and all over a tree in the front yard that was infested with wasps. I am very pleased with the results. Leeland was courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely use Alamo Pest again. read more

Wow!!! Above and beyond!! I saw a bug and panicked and called these guys because I did my research they had the highest rating in Fort Worth. And I now see why! From the first call to the end result everything exceeded my expectations. The tech was very knowledgeable and explained so many things to me. He was very careful and considerate of our belongings. He left no spot untouched. He was very detailed but the process didn't take long at all. We did the plan for $109 initially and $50 per month. I highly recommend this company. read more

The BEST pest control company in town!! They're not a big corporate business but a local, family owned company. They care about their employees. Which ensures their employees care about providing the best service for you. The technicians are super thorough, informative, professional, & so nice! They even handle wasps! They're also being very cautious of interactions/distancing themselves from you. Just an FYI for y'all my friends! #supportsmallbusinesses #supportlocalbusinesses I have been using them for more than 6 years. read more

I am new with alamo pest in Ft Worth. Their office shared all my account information with a person that is just called in and asked for it. He got! They gave him everything regarding my account! There us no one on my account but me and no one that is affiliated in any way with my account. But alamo will give anyone who calls them your account information and history! DO NOT USE ALAMO PEST CONTROL!!! read more

I've used Alamo for a few years now, from rental property to homeowner they have been wonderful in helping resolve all extermination support and needs. Even if it was to our wallet's benefit and not theirs. I'm not sure that I will ever go to another pest control company for the integrity and trust they have built with us over the years. I also absolutely love that the answering service is 24 hours a day. My ADHD brain really appreciates being able to call and report a problem any time of the day, any day of the week, and they'll call me back to schedule service! Seriously the best customer service ever. I cannot say enough good things about this company! Hard to find these days! read more

Leland Mullins did an amazing job. He was respectful and quick. He even took the time to spray under my sink and let me know that that's also a place spiders can come in from! read more

I rarely write reviews but I so impressed by the service technician Mario Lopez from Alamo Termite & Pest Control detailed extermination job that I would like to give him 5 stars. Mario Lopez had never been to my home to treat for pest control (I have had several) he took great patience in spraying every area of my home. I didn't have to worry about following him around once I observed his attention to details. I will ask for Mario Lopez to be permanently placed on my route in the future. Jennifer B. read more

I'm a strong believer that if someone does a great job they should be recognized! And I have to say that Jonathan needs some recognition! I been with Alamo for a year and even though they have great people and fantastic service, Jonathan takes the cake!!! I called Alamo when a swarm or termites flew out of my attic. Jay Robinson came the next morning. He was on time and even text me 30 min before arriving, to let me know he was on his way. Jay was very professional and took the time to listen to all of our concerns. He explained all of our options and didn't pressure us at all. We wanted to think about it, before making a decision. I called Alamo later that day and made an appointment. Jay came the following day, and did a very thorough job. Again, being patient and answering all of our questions. Everyone at Alamo, that I spoke to, was friendly and professional. I have absolutely no complaints, and I would highly recommend them. read more

I'm super pissed It's not the first time we are using them, definitely the last. We moved to a new house at the 26th and they did our pest control, the tech didn't even ask what we want, sprayed something outside the house and left, he didn't offered to do outside/back yard or even asked what we want. We called on Sunday to complain that we have spiders at the house and a nest of wasps, I was told someone will call me on Monday and come to remove it and guess what? No one called. We have a newborn, we couldn't go outside because they didn't do their job as a pest control company, so we called someone else which guess what? Came at the same day and took care of everything. read more

They treated my duplex inside and out. I think they must be using water as it has had no effect and I am now using stuff from Home Depot. I am now bug free... The gal who answers the phone could use an attitude adjustment and you would think that they would stand by their warranty. I would avoid this company at all cost..or it will cost you in the long run. read more

Rudy G. has been to our house twice now and has always been so polite and kind. When he sprayed inside our house he offered to take off his shoes (which a lot of service techs don't) so dirt wouldn't track into our house. He was very thorough and you can see he takes a lot of pride in his work. He definitely deserves a raise and very lucky to have him on your team! read more

Had something crawling around under my house. Has a technician come out, and he just looked around and then threw a cage under there and he said he'd be back in a week to pick it up. It's been 4 months now. Guys never came back and did a follow up visit. I bought this off Yelp deals for $89 for someone to throw a $15 animal cage under my house, that I coulda got from the local hardware store, and never come back. Meh! luckily, I'm pretty sure the animal moved on. I think? read more

Have been a customer for a few years. Have had them say they came out on more than one occasion and say they did the exterior work but myself or my wife were at home the whole day and they didn't show up like they claimed they did. Our exterior cameras even showed that they were a no show but claimed they showed up. I contacted customer service and told them they didn't show up. Tech said they did but changed their story and said they did the wrong house. I ended up cancelling that day and they keep charging my account. Just want to let everyone be aware that they may claim they showed up and they won't. Also if you cancel make sure they actually cancel it. (I was told that I actually have to mail a letter to cancel, wasn't told that over the phone the first time I wanted to cancel my subscription, definitely a rip off and will be using someone else.) read more

These guys are really good when they are here. The techs are knowledgeable and friendly. Just 2 big problems are sometimes they call and reschedule, I've taken days off of work that have gone to waste because they reschedule them the day of. I like to take off of work to explain about my current pest issues with the tech. This brings in the 2nd issue...If I schedule them for after work, they always come early while I'm working and then leave a card at my door so I haven't been able to show them any problem areas or tell them of any latest pest issues I'm seeing. read more

The service was excellent...the technician was thorough, neat and professional. He was on time, asked about pets and answered my questions completely. I had asked for 4 quotes, and Alamo was fast to respond. The scheduler was friendly and professional, answering all my questions and was helpful setting an appointment. I will use Alamo time after time. read more

I used Alamo today to spray around my house. I've seen some seriously freaky bugs lately since our area has had a lot of rain. They guaranteed 90 days of a bug free life for me! They were friendly , easy to set up and the guy made me feel really comfortable. Currently they have a special that is 49.99, which is the best deal I've found in the area. I will update when I can speak to how well it worked! But so far, so good. *Update: Its been well over a month and I haven't seen any bugs. Maybe a small fly or a tiny spider. But nothing scary! They did a great job and I will have them back in a few months for another spray. read more

I have a duplex that had recurring flea problems in the bottom unit. They quoted $400 to treat the whole house. But problem was only downstairs. So quoted $200, but would give no warranty. It rained the next day after the treatment so I asked if they would come back and spray the yard again. They said no, I didn't get the warranty package. Also the problem died down but never stopped and within a week or two started to ramp back up. My tenant was really upset. Because I didn't pay the full $400, Alamo didn't come back out. Wasn't impressed. Honestly I don't know why I'm giving 2 stars... should be 1. I guess I reserve 1 star for really lousy experiences, and at least these people are friendly and easy to work with for scheduling read more

I chose this company based on their glowing Yelp reviews, but I have been extremely disappointed by their almost non-existent customer service. I attempted to schedule 2 services calls. The first time I was given incorrect information regarding the treatment to be applied as well as instructed to empty out my entire kitchen in preparation for the treatment, which the service tech later told me was a waste of my time and unnecessary. The second appointment was to complete the service from the first trip as the service tech didn't have everything he needed on his truck the first time. That appointment was incorrectly scheduled, despite receiving confirmation emails with the correct appointment times, and left me sitting around my house for hours and no one showing up. Also, no one called me to reschedule this appointment when a tech showed up and no one was home. Most disappointingly, their service manager Mike was rude and entirely unhelpful. He only offered excuses as to why my appointments were incorrectly scheduled and why I was given incorrect and time-consuming instructions. Mike went so far as to divulge personal and irrelevant information regarding himself and other employees to try to distract or explain away his company's mistakes. Mike refused to offer any sort of compensation for his companies continued errors and promised to call back after he had reviewed phone call tapes and computer records. Mike never called and when I called him, he continued to offer more excuses. I asked to have the still incomplete portion of my service call refunded and to have my contract canceled. Mike informed me that there was a cancelation fee and when I suggested he needed to waive that he stated "yeah. I'm not going to do that." I have never been treated so poorly or so rudely by a person who was supposed to be in a management position. I was shocked at his flippant disregard for customer service. The only positive thing I have to say about this company is about Nicole, the officer manager. She was the only person in this whole mess who actually seemed to care about customer service. She refunded me the entire amount I had previously paid and cancelled my contract without a penalty. I received an email to that effect immediately and she called me back shortly and stated she had been able to refund my money directly to my credit card rather than mailing a check as she previously stated. Thank you, Nicole, for trying to salvage this disaster of a service relationship. read more
