I am absolutely delighted with my experience thus far with Aptive Environmental. Not only was my sales rep, Adrian, an absolute pleasure to work with, but my technician Alex Torres was just phenomenal! To begin with, Adrian was incredibly accommodating when I had to reschedule my initial service TWICE, but their customer service system is great at communicating reminders and arrivals for the day of service. Life is hectic, and unexpected things come up, but Adrian flexed and flowed like a ninja to make sure I got an appointment that worked best. Alex arrived on time and with the most wonderful attitude, and he made the time to run through what I could expect from his work. He patiently answered questions and very graciously tolerated my bossy little puppy. I was also incredibly impressed with the level of care and consideration Alex provided while he was in my home and on the property. He arrived clad appropriately given the COVID pandemic (clean, masked, properly dressed) and he used shoe covers the entire time he was in my home. He had to change covers a few times due to some complicated access points in my home, but he was diligent and completely attentive. Despite being in every single room in the home and on every square foot of the property outside, Alex was completely unobtrusive and allowed me to continue my own tasks with confidence that he was providing every element of the treatment as promised. We have had Aptive at our past two homes. We now live in a larger home, with more pest issues. This is hands down the best pest control we have ever had. We switched for awhile to White Knight, and white knights customer service is AWFUL. I'll leave that for another review. With Aptive, I have seen a huge difference. We used to see a few here and there, but ever since we got back on board with Aptive again, I haven't seen any pests. Our technician today was Ray. Our kids call him the "bug guy." He greeted my family with a smile and laugh, he was conversing the entire time, super sweet guy. Very professional, listened to me blab about how much I hate cockroaches and ants. He was polite, funny, and sprayed everything that needed to be upstairs, downstairs, bathrooms, outside, etc. I am super super pleased with Aptive. We have had them for years and they are wonderful. As far as the other reviews about the sales people being pushy, is it really necessary to post your doorbell camera of these people just trying to do their jobs? What exactly is that achieving? Especially at this point in time, we have to remember these people providing a service are HUMAN beings. The Aptive sales representative who contacted me was thorough in reviewing the contract, accommodating when I changed service dates twice, and answered his cell phone promptly both times I contacted him. The technician performing the initial service reviewed the work to be done and the premises before beginning, and was amazingly thorough. The cleaning of exterior spider webs and wasp nests alone was worth the price of the contract, not to mention no repeat webs or nests. Aptive made several attempts to confirm today's appt., then kept the appointment despite my lack of response. Robert, today's technician, alerted me upon his arrival, reviewed the service request, and made notes of special requests and add-ons for future appointments. After completing today's treatment, Robert took the time to point out an invasion of garden pests in a new area that he had thoroughly treated. I appreciate Robert's work today and that of his co-worker. I dislike service or maintenance contract commitments, so normally refuse such services. I am rating our service technician, Alexis 5 stars....Aptive as of 2020, 2 stars. I have been debating on if we're going to leave Aptive and go back to our previous carrier due to what appears to be lack of urgency. Wait times have been long this year. I have had to call to remind and schedule quarterly service, technicians not arriving within the 4 hour window and having to request additional service once quarterly service is completed because of the job not being done right the first time.. example, Alexis came 3 weeks after our scheduled and completed quarterly service because we were seeing large Waterbugs and there were a total of 4 wasp nests around the home....4! How did this get missed the first time?? I understand that things can become busy and that the pandemic may have thrown some things off but the above has become a real pain point when it comes to service. Again, Alexis does a great thorough job whenever he comes to service our home. He's awesome and professional. read more

After the previous rep refused to schedule a tech to come back to my home to address the incomplete service, Dennise reaches out to me via text msg to address my concern with the shoddy treatment I had received. She was very apologetic for the misinformation given and showed concern. She immediately scheduled another tech to come out the following morning. The technician, Lenzy, showed up promptly after 8:30am as requested, completed the service that was needed on the interior of the house. He addressed all my concerns efficiently, answered all questions, and took care of the wasp nests! He was highly professionally and super polite!! Thank you Lenzy and Dennise for superior customer service and retention. You both are the reasons I will continue to do business with Aptive!!! Kudos to you both!!! I sent this review in December of 2019 after pur last quarterly treatment. I think it went to a different company in Fort Worth based on a response I received. We have been with Aptive for over 2 years and highly recommend their services. They are so confident they guarantee their service by backing it with free retreatments in between quarterly treatment. We wanted to give an extra big thank you to Lenzy. He always does an amazing job and treats us the way he would want to be treated he literally is the definition of Customer Service and it shows from his thorough explanation of what he is treating for always making sure he did everything needed before leaving. Aptive made their initial visit to my home on March 5, 2021. The technician Kiro Murphy was very polite and professional in his actions. He thoroughly explained the services and discussed any pest issues I was aware of. Kirk then inspected and treated the outside of the home and yard. At my request he treated specific areas inside the home as a preventative measure and also some areas in the garage. I normally don't treat the inside, unless I have an issue. The chemical used by Aptive had only a mild odor, unlike the chemical used by other pest control companies in the past. I used Aptive back in 2018 while living in Austin, Texas and found them to be very effective. Based on my observations, I would recommend their services. read more

Damien Martinez arrived in the afternoon as promised and helped solve our gnat problem. He was professional and treated all the suspect areas in the home. By the next morning we noticed a definite decrease in the number of gnats and most of them were already dead. We have quarterly service and all the employees have been professional and courteous. We pay a set fee each quarter and have contacted them twice for additional treatments due to a wasp infestation and another for the gnats. No additional charges were assessed. We have been very pleased that they contact us ahead of time and let us know when they will be coming and once we had to tell them to come a different time because we were out of town. read more

Tanner showed up right on time. He did a great job removing wasp/dirt dobber nests, and spraying inside and outside the house. I am happy with the service. The salesman was friendly and convincing, but omitted some details that I discovered when finalizing the sale. For example, this was an agreement for 4 treatments with the first one heavily discounted. I was fine with the overall price of the 4 treatments, so I didn't cancel but why employ those types of sales tactics. If your service is market rate and worth it, why try to hide the other three treatment obligations? Their product is good. They just need to have some training with their salesman to be more forthcoming. read more

DeShawn Martinez performed a pest control treatment and I was very impressed that he knew exactly what to look for in order to tackle the problem . He was very professional and friendly . I called Aptive a Friday morning to request service and I was told that all time windows where full ,but because I explained to the Rep over the phone that I have a newborn and 2 other little ones . The Rep explained my issue to the Manager and they opened an availability ASAP and The next day at noon De Shawn performed a treatment in our Home . So far, I am a new customer and I am very pleased. I have had Aptive Environmental provide pest control for the last (4) years and they continue to provide excellent customer service, and great pest control. Today, Alec E., was the technician who provided the service and he was incredibly customer focused and professional. I spoke with him when he arrived, and he exceeded all expectations with the service provided to the exterior of the home. There were a number of ant piles that surfaced after the recent rains, a wasp nest under the front porch, and an expired rodent in one of the bait traps. Alec addressed each item. I have yet to be disappointed with Aptive. In particular, and worth mentioning, my technician Ray (Raheem). I needed a service outside of my regular schedule - and this is never a problem. I received the out of schedule service quickly after placing the call. People who have given 1-star below may have forgotten that Aptive will service as many times as you need to solve the problem at no extra cost. Sometimes more than one treatment is needed if you are having an issue. They strive to get it right. The notification system, the followup and the quality of their technicians is what puts them ahead of other services I have used. Keep it up team! read more

I have had Aptive since June and I have been so happy with them. They charge the quarterly $99 on the day of service- they can postpone if needed I needed to this time around due to some repairs being done. They are prompt always friendly and professional! I am usually home alone when they come and I always get a picture of my service provider and always feel safe when they are in my home. Highly recommend! I was made aware of cancellation fees and quarterly charges. My home had bugs and bees baaaaad. Since the first treatment nothing! Saw a couple dead spiders and they sprayed inside again just to be sure! Tyrone is awesome! Give them a call! read more

I've had them service my property for over a year now and it has been pretty simple. They've come out multiple times outside of my quarterly service like they said they would if I've encountered issues. Larry has been splendid. He has been here multiple times that he knows what to do even when I'm still half asleep. Thank you for being awesome. I am only giving five star rating to Alec Spenser elder the tech not Aptive. This guy goes the extra mile by far. Gives me a personal call and time about his route. Even asked about if I had kids or pregnant wife told me to take them out for 2 hours while poison settles. Took attention to detail for any piles and potential spots of intrusions and told me these spots he can't treat but said best to seal them up as they enter from here. If any one reads this review for Frisco area I would call and ask for him only to spray the house all the other techs are a joke. And need retraining on manners and etiquette. read more

Shea did an excellent job of performing this service call. He hit all the things I look for in a service technician. He was on time, professional, wore protective gear for entering the house, provided A clear explanation of what he was doing and why and was patient while I tried to corral the dog. He treated all areas paying particular attention to the areas I thought were worse. You would be surprised at how many technicians nod their heads and then ignore you! He did a great job and this was the first time I couldn't complain about anything (but I'll be ready next time!). read more

Jenny was very professional and listened to my concerns about the previous technicians not doing a good job. She answered all my questions about what services were being one today and guaranteed that she would do a complete service of our property. When she was finished, she rang the doorbell and let me know what she had done and where she had found ants in the yard and that she had treated the area. She has been the most professional and communicative of all the technicians that have been here. I definitely would want her to be my regular technician. read more

I've been using Aptive for about a year now and they've only had to do my interior during the initial visit. Shawn was a breath of fresh air. Incredibly polite and professional. I needed indoor service completed this time and Shawn was very accommodating to everything I needed and went above and beyond a typical visit. None of us were at home, but I was watching the technician action thru my camera. He did a lousy job in mopping the ceiling, which is very visible, doing his job for the sake of doing it. I can attach the video here if needed. Same happened last time as well. Sales person used lot of sales pitch like our truck is in this area, so we made our money already, so we can give a discounted rate, all are BS, I was not smart on that day to understand his pitch.
