Although their services were barely satisfactory, they make it impossible to cancel. They told me…read moreI was committing to 4 visits and I foolishly believed them. Their contract says 4 services after the initial visit (total 5) and that the contract lasts at least 12 months, but they have disclaimer language that requires a 30 day written notice (otherwise you must pay for a fifth service), which means if you try to cancel within 30 days of that annual expiration, you have not kept the contract in force for an entire 12 months and you owe a cancellation fee and must re-imburse them for any promotional discount that was given on the first visit. Then they say that if they return for a warranty service (like when we still had bugs after a treatment), then that means I extended the contract for another service visit. And yes, they send you through a gauntlet of three levels when you try to cancel. I can't believe that someone hasn't shut them down. Nightmare to work with.

That should not happen when you have an extermination company that's been spraying. This has happened a lot too! They are real nice when I call and tell them, but I shouldn't have to call. I shouldn't have ants. I have one payment left on my contract (that I didn't even know I signed) and then I'm done with them. I'm going to treat the bugs myself and save a whole lot of money.
