At my previous address, I used this company for pest services. My technician Barack was extremely friendly and always chatted with me. He always remembered me and our conversations! This definitely made it easy to talk to him and made the service feel personal. I had originally called because I woke up to my cat eating a mouse! I freaked out and called Scherzinger. They were prompt in their response and their pricing was super reasonable!! Barack came out to my home and did a thorough inspection. He didn't find any evidence of nesting mice (thank goodness!) , but did find areas of where it could have entered. He also handled my kitchen ant problem! I was able to take his recommendations for improvements - filling gaps in my crawl space and trimming my tree in the front yard - and succeeded in preventing more from entering my home. Called on a Sunday to request an appointment. Was told it'd be no problem getting a technician out to deal with our pest problem on Monday. Was told we'd get a call early on Monday (between 6 and 8). When we called them back at 8:15, was told had no appointments available on Monday. We were told that it was just a call center that took calls after hours. I made clear that if the information from the call center wasn't correct, then what was their purpose. Then advised Scherzinger that we'd look for another company to deal with our needs. read more

I have had this service for 3+ years. I have camaras on my house and had not ever seen anyone come and check traps. I asked that the company notify me when they are coming-they did not, so after I canceled the service, they called me from the driveway to tell me they are here. Just now someone came onto my property to remove the old traps without any notice (which I believe is called trespassing). Are they reusing the traps that have been in the ground for over 5 years or was this just spite. Totally unacceptable service and will NEVER do business with them again read more

I've never found myself hoping to have the privilege to review a pest control company. But I've come to rely on the valuable feedback that Yelp provides and I've experienced phenomenal service with Scherzinger and knew that as an Elite reviewer, I have to share with others to let them know they aren't alone. I noticed droppings in my laundry room and wanted to get ahead of the problem. We placed traps around the droppings but the traps didn't yield any results. We called Scherzinger for expert advice. Their approach was great because they focused on possible vulnerabilities in our home's exterior... explaining what we needed to repair them. They also strategically placed traps and poison in the identified area. They also set up a return visit to collect the traps. We discovered mice and other pests in our home. I used the chat feature as well as submitted a request for an online quote overnight, and by early morning, ScherZinger promptly responded and made an appointment with me to have a technician out to the house by noon. The tech arrived early, was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite, and thoroughly inspected the house inside and out for not only mice, but other pests too, like spiders, ants, and crickets. He explained everything to me in detail before beginning work and was efficient once he got started. I really appreciated him explaining the pesticides they use and caring about the fact that I have children and an exotic pet who I don't want negatively affected. He took everything into consideration before working in my home. He came back the next day to finish what he couldn't when it was raining at no extra cost. Found a bed bug and Scherzinger was the most immediate to respond, and they do heat treatments which was what I was most interested in. Fred was very nice, confirmed I had a bed bug and we scheduled the ($1200) treatment a month later. It was a little long to wait and a pain to prep the house for the treatment but they were very professional and my house was 99% back in order when I got home afterwards. A follow up inspection turned up nothing, although I thought it wasn't very thorough. Neither of their inspections have been very thorough, and when I inquired about barrier or spray treatments I was told they couldn't do an individual unit (I live in a condo) despite being offered a pesticide treatment initially. The day after the inspection I found another bed bug. Fred had warned me that they don't do guarantees on condos but I still wanted to do what I could to handle the situation so I called them back up. I was forwarded to "the heat department" three times (the reception is very kind) and left three messages in the past month, with no answer. I finally managed to make an appointment for another inspection to happen today but then they didn't show up! Not even a phone call. I called and the reception confirmed I had an appointment but she couldn't get ahold of anyone. Left another message. I'm sorry to say that if they don't get back to me soon and give me a little better customer service, I'm going to take my business elsewhere. Update: A technician did finally show up that day and did a *much more thorough* inspection of my house, finding nothing again despite the fact that I found a live bug. I was told to wait and see if any others show up (the one I had found was male) and call then. I'm still not comfortable in my own house but I know that there's not much to be done at this point. read more

Thorough with inspections and applications. Comes for a free "follow-up" after initial application to assure service eliminated issues (not sure if this is for single visits or just for the quarterly package). Timely in both arrival and length of service. Respectful of carpeting (cover shoes). CONS Pricing of misc. products. Website has plenty of info. about pest control, but not much on miscellaneous products they sell. I'm so glad I found this company! I live in a wooded area and find many different bugs around my home in the summer. I called many pest control companies before this who were very vague about pricing and forceful to set up packages... Most don't offer one-time services, but they do! Darren is excellent. He took his time assessing and treating my house, inside and out, as well as sitting down with me and explaining the situation. I didn't plan on signing-up for the quarterly treatments, but he treated my home once and it has worked SO well that I had to continue services with them. Highly recommend this company. read more

We had the guardian quarterly service at our home for several years and were happy with the service. About a year ago a new technician started servicing our home and the service was not the same. We've had spider problems since then. We now have ants, which is why we initially contracted with your company. Poor service for many years. Finally just calling it quits. I don't think we had the same person service our house throughout the entire four years we've used them. More than once, we received an invoice for service - but had no indication they were ever at the house. Final straw - most recent service was late June 2018. I called for a warranty service in early September - we were finding bugs almost daily. While the serviceman was informative about what protection steps he was taking it didn't help. We're still finding bugs. And, it was raining so he couldn't do the outside service - he would call back "soon" and let us know when he could get the service done. Now, mid-October and we're still waiting on that phone call. The "rest of the story" - they've decided to charge us for the warranty call as a quarterly service call - which it was not even finished. Not a company I plan on dealing with anytime soon. My recommendation - STAY AWAY.... read more

Follow up to reply made by this company on my review. The truth is that I have not received a credit on credit card that was charged without my permission for a service that I did not request. My credit card company has been made aware, by me, of the consumer fraud committed by Scherzinger Pest Control. At first they were very responsive. They came out as scheduled, installed termite bait stations, treated the interior and signed me up for there guardian plus service. After that, service went downhill. The biggest challenge is that they'd call me 1 time to setup service call. Typically the call is in the middle of the 8-5 workday. This is your only reminder for service. If you can't answer and forget to callback, you are screwed. No follow up call, no email, nothing. I managed to setup a visit but told them I wouldn't be home. I unlocked the gates and they said they'd treat the exterior. They left me a business card and note in the door that they couldn't do treatment as nobody was home. I asked for management to call me back but that never happened. Finally in frustration I left a voicemail message that I wasn't happy and I want to cancel my service. A week goes by and finally I get a call from their office. I thought maybe it was a manager wanting to talk to me and try to save the contract we had in place. What actually happened is that she told me that the contract was cancelled and I needed to let their staff on my property to remove the bait stations. She said I didn't own them as per the contract and she could send me a copy of the contract to read for myself if I wanted. I'm so glad I terminated my contract. Based on my personal experience, They really don't care if they provide service or not and management doesn't care about customer retention. read more

We first called Scherzinger about a year ago when we encountered an ant issue at our house and we had our house for sale. We noticed a ton of ants coming into our house near our patio door and there was a line of ants from there to our kitchen cabinets. I first tried some ant removal products that I picked up at the local hardware store but after several weeks of using these products, they still kept coming back and I needed to get rid of the ants cause I didn't want potential home buyers seeing the ants. That's when I decided to try a pest control company. I called Scherzinger and they were at our house the next day. The technician was courteous and walked me thru everything that he was going to do. I have young children so I was very cautious as to the treatments that would be applied but after the technician explained everything thoroughly, I felt much better. He said they would come back within 30 days if the issue continued but thankfully the ants never came back. I was very pleased with the quality of service Scherzinger provided so when we moved into our new house I signed up for the Guardian Program. Mark R. was the technician who met me and went over everything they do as part of this ongoing service. Mark was very friendly and I appreciate how he understood my concern with what treatments would be applied cause of having children in the house. We've been in the new house for a little over a year now and haven't had any issues with spiders, ants or anything else. We just signed up for service recently. They came out and did the first spray. We got a bill in Early Nov with a due date of Nov. 22. On Nov 8 (today), we get a call saying our account is past due and a hold was put on our account. When we called back, we were told that it was an error in their system as they switch to paperless, blah blah blah. Apparently the bill was sent out late and with incorrect dates? Huh? So even though they called recently to let us know they would be coming out and spraying, they will not until we settle our bill. We are brand new customers. And this is how we are treated? Like delinquents? Even though it is clearly, and they admit, their fault... now we have to go out of our way to run the money right over or just wait until they get the payment in the mail rather than have our regular scheduled appt. Oh, and they made it seem like they were doing us a favor by not charging us a late fee. WTF? I would love to hear their legal argument for how we could be late on a payment if we had never been given a date by which said payment is due. I'll be hunting for a new pest control company. I'm very disappointed, as they seem to have such good reviews, but this kind of customer treatment is a deal breaker for me. There are plenty of other options out there. Really frustrating customer service policies that seem to be focused on upselling rather than addressing actual customer needs. I used them to put in a system and monitor it for our previous house, but when we bought a new house, they wouldn't allow us to transfer our maintenance contract to a system at the new house. We had to leave it at the old house -- basically, continue to pay for system maintenance on the old house after we'd moved out. Because of their policies I definitely would not use again for the house we're buying now. Can't recommend. read more

For some reason they don't really do interior general preventative treatment for springtime bugs, spiders, etc. It was very hard to try to make that happen and I was given many explanations from at least 3 representatives, plus a supervisor, as to why that work is not typically done. We were told that it could be done-but they had to check with the technician, I was to wait to hear back and so on. I was told that general preventative spraying is simply a waste of money because it is not really effective. Okay it made sense, but when I asked if the spray used is residual, I was told that is residual for 90 days. So again, the question of why can you not do a springtime preventative treatment of bugs inside my home, at my request, was never resolved. In ll fairness, we played phone tag a bit. But the whole experience was lengthy, time consuming, and frustrating. read more

We found bugs in our box spring, but after a little research we thought they were probably carpet beetles. I called Scherzinger who came out the next day, confirmed they were carpet beetles, told me what to do and left. I was impressed that they didn't try to sell me anything or charge me. If I ever do have a bug problem, they will get my business. read more

Great service! The person on the phone that I talked to was very helpful and reassured me that I didn't need to panic. She scheduled an inspection for me and a friendly technician came out and confirmed it that we have termites! I called a couple of other companies as well and got quotes from them but was very impressed with Scherzinger and there people! They installed the Sentricon system around our house and come back to check them more frequently than other companies to ensure it is working. Can't say enough very impressed! read more

Worst customer service ever. Called for a bedbug problem at 10:00 am on a Wednesday. Finally, at 6:00pm that day, Fred dropped a voicemail into my cell phone. No, he didn't call, he just placed a voicemail on my cell phone that I should call him. I called immediately and after ringing, it went to his voicemail. I left a message to call back. No call came. So I called 10:00 am Thursday. Then I called at 4:00pm Thursday. At 5:00 Thursday I got a call from Fred to set up an appointment. Based on the lack of response earlier, I asked why it took so long to return the call and his response was "Well, I'm calling you now." By noon, I had already called someone else, set an appointment and was on my way to meet them when the call came in from Fred. If you want prompt, courteous service, Scherzinger Pest Control is not the one. Now that I have found a company with a friendly front office and customer focused technicians, I will never again bother Scherzinger with my business. read more

This company is a joke! I called them since I saw their ads daily and thought I would give them a try. Well, big mistake. After calling and scheduling an appointment a week and a half out, they called me days before to tell me they made a mistake and had to reschedule for the following week! Really, if I had an infestation I would be on fire. So, I take the new appointment and the tech comes to my house but doesn't ring the door bell! REALLY??? I call to reschedule AGAIN, this time it's the next week. I don't know how they stay in business if they can't make appointments when people need them to come.
