Not happy with this service. They did a good job on a yellow jacket nest in the ground, but also removed two small paper wasp nests above my front door. Now, I have found two small paper wasp nests in the shrubbery at my front door, so probably same nests WITH wasps. I called to have them take away, but it has been 34 days since they treated so there will be an additional charge. Guarantee only for 30 days - changing exterminators. I think the tech just knocked them into the shrubbery, also a new nest forming in the same exact place. Charged me $250 service - not willing to pay a second time when their treatment for wasps was not effective - just moved the nests. Find a different exterminator - terrible customer service Camile. read more

We recently moved and found that we had a problem with ants in the kitchen of our new house. We have worked with Sure Thing in the past at our old house and were pleasantly surprised when Ken arrived at our new house with his usual smile and mountains of knowledge. He had also serviced the former owners of our new house, so he was familiar with the house, which made his work quick! I love that Ken is always immediately concerned with making sure everything is safe for our kids and dog. He doesn't want to spray inside of the house unless he absolutely has to. When we called we were told they would check out our attic and look for any mice issues. When the man arrived we were told he could not go into attic. Could not find any places where mice where getting in and then suggested they were getting in our garage entry way when I opened the door to walk in. As in the mice were probably scurrying in behind as we walked in. Highly unlikely. Husband called Varment Guard and bc someone was in the area he came over within 20 min same day. This was my first experience with needing pest control and I was nervous about toxins in regards to my pets, but the staff thoroughly explained the ins and outs of that and put my mind at ease. The people that come out are nice and helpful. However the office is shady. Not clear pricing and what services are offered. Miscommunication with customer and service people. We got treated very poorly when we needed our inspection to sell our house even though we were still under warranty. Because of this we are not recommending them to the people who are buying our house and we will not be using them for our new home. Ummmm. I will not waste my time discussing the parts of their response that were untrue. Wow. I don't even know how to comment on their response. My review above stands. I would highly avoid this company. They don't care that much about their customers or their reviews considering I sent them an email months ago with my concerns and my reviews and this is the first response I have seen. Even the guy that came out to the house who did a lot of the communication with the main office was confused as to why they were treating us the way that they were. He was also confused about the warranty papers we showed him and as to what day the warranty actually expired. After they treated us like crap they wanted us to renew our warranty which according to our paper work had not happened yet, but according to what they said had expired by only a couple of days. We obviously did not encourage the new buyers to renew with this company. They also don't care much about privacy either. It would be nice if our last name was not included in their response. We will see if they are considerate enough to remove our last name. Last two things. 1. Shouldn't the job of a good business try to eliminate confusion. 2. I didn't identify myself, really? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The owner Glen, sent his son out to do our termite treatment in April 2018. While out at our house, his son drilled holes through our concrete front step and through our basement ceiling drywall. This then has allowed water to leak into our basement. Glen sent someone to our house 4 times to "patch" the hole. We were assured each time it wouldn't leak again. Well, guess what, it has. After this company marred our home and allowed water to enter, Glen couldn't get a concrete person to come out and do a proper repair. His suggestion was that he file a claim through his insurance company, which he did. The insurance company is offering to pay for the drywall repair, but nothing with the source of the leak from the hole put in our steps. These holes are still leaking today. I called Glen today and he proceeded to lie and now tell me that the steps had issues prior to his son DRILLING HOLE THROUGH THEM. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He told me that he will not help me get my steps properly repaired and that an engineer would say there were prior issues. I assure you that this house did not have issues with leaking prior to this treatment. We bought it in May 2017 and had a thorough inspection completed. Now I sit here in tears, as I have been patient and worked with Sure Thing on this since April. Now for some reason they have decided to lie and deny the damage they caused. Unfortunately, now I will have to look into a lawyer. I'm not sure what else to do. read more
