Awful, take the money and run. The worst company I've ever come across, and I'm 54 so that's saying a lot. Mike D totally non responsive.

Salesman was knowledgeable, but made promises he failed to keep. Repeated phone calls and texts were ignored; disrespectful and unprofessional. A threat to file a complaint with the BBB motivated the company to finish the work, albeit six weeks late. Be careful when dealing with this company. read more

So needed to get critters out of the attic.... but was not happy with service... took quite awhile to receive refund. Seems like owner manipulated reviews. Squirrels were mistreated by the technician... Never should have hired these people. Technician whined about his travel distance and work load. read more

I made an appointment with them last week. Today they came out. It was $189 for them to do that. They also ran a bit late, showing up after noon when the scheduled window was 10 to 12. Now that the "negatives" are out of the way, I can state that these folks are professionals and good at what they do. Within a half hour, they'd figured out a plan of attack and began executing it. Ten minutes after that, the first squirrel was caged and out of my life. We are still in Phase 1 of squirrel removal, but I will update this review as the process continues. Side note: the two gentlemen they sent out were veterans. I buy American when I can and fully support businesses who go out of their way to hire our veterans. UPDATE: 10-30-2019 A year later and still squirrel free. These guys are great. I highly recommend them. read more

Hands down the fastest best service we've received. We bought our first home only to find two 5' black rat snakes setting up residence in our attic. Animal Remover came that same night inspected the attic, educated us, gave us next steps, and followed up to see if we had anymore problems. Couldn't have asked for better service! Highly recommend Nick and Team, they do phenomenal work and care about the customer. read more

Animal Remover - Pest Control Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

A few weeks ago, birds started terrorizing my house. It took me a while to realize what was happening, though. Every morning I would wake up to random drifts of yellow insulation in my yard, and at first I thought it was blowing over from a neighbor's roof, as they had recently had some work done on their gutters, but eventually it became clear that, no, the problem was definitely centered on my property, my roof. That's when I noticed two significant holes in different parts of the soffits, where birds were going in and out, making their nests. I checked reviews online, asked neighbors for recommendations, and called two pest removal companies. Animal Remover had slightly better pricing, and very friendly, knowledgable, upfront customer service. Even though they couldn't come out until 10 days later, I just felt good about working with them. (Note: The other company was highly recommended by two neighbors, and was available to come 7 days later, but I felt like the people I talked to were following a script, rather than taking the time to understand my specific problem. I'm sure they would have been fine, but I'm glad I went with my gut.) (Upon recommendation, I also called one roofing company to see if they could just come repair the holes in the soffits, but they said they would not come until a pest removal company had verified that the animal situation was OK.) I scheduled the appointment with Animal Remover, who sent verification via email. Before the appointment, they called to say they were on their way. Then two young men inspected my property inside and out to make their assessment and recommendations, and they were very patient with my many questions. (Note: On the inside, they were pretty thorough, going into 4 different access points for our attic, including a small crawl space. On the outside, however, I was surprised that they did not go up on their ladders. Later another member of the company said they should have, and asked if it had been raining/snowing that day or the day before, as my roof is very steep and that might be one reason they didn't go up. I couldn't remember.) I really appreciated that they wore foot covers, tried to clean up any slight mess they made, and made reasonable recommendations based on my situation. The pricing estimate also seemed fair. A different couple of guys returned a few days later to make the repairs -- although at that time, they got a closer look at one hole and determined that a squirrel (not a bird) must have made it, so they set a couple traps that I had to monitor for a few days, just to verify that it was no longer an active squirrel situation. It wasn't, and so the guys returned to finish patching. The patch was just sheet metal, but they spray painted it (with brown paint I bought from a hardware store) to somewhat match. At some point I will have roofers do a nicer patch to match the original beadboard, but I appreciated that Animal Remover tried to be conscientious of the character of my old home when doing their work. Anyway, the end of this novel of a review is that I liked every single one of the people at Animal Remover that I talked to or worked with, I was pleased with the work and pricing, and I would most definitely use them again. read more

I've used these guys in the past and was generally happy with them. But they have since changed the way they do business. I called them, made an appointment, and I thought I was on their schedule. Time for the appointment came, they didn't show up, and they didn't call. Completely ghosted me. I called the office, they didn't know what was going on, took a message. Finally somebody called me back and said that after I made the appointment they had sent me an e-mail, and I was supposed to have clicked "view quote", and then after viewing the quote I needed to "approve" it. Because I didn't do that, they canceled the appointment without telling me. This was not made clear in either my phone conversation booking the appointment or in the e-mail. They could have called an hour before the appointment to follow up, or made it very clear in the phone conversation that I wasn't *really* on the schedule until I clicked "approve". Or better yet, don't even name a time on the phone until they are ready to commit to it. Anyway, I ended up calling another company. read more

We'd had a skunk in the neighborhood a few days prior to calling them. I was concerned initially about giving them a credit card over the phone. I understand not wanting people to cancel. They came at the time they'd given. Prompt about getting things setup and explaining the pros and cons of where to set a trap or traps. I appreciate knowing and not having surprises. We must have missed the skunk and caught nothing after a week. I left a message and they came out the next day to remove the trap and supplies. Sad that nothing was caught, but glad there was nothing to catch under our porch. The removal of a creature would have been extra. read more

As of today, thanks to Animal Removers and especially Tyler, we are bat free!!! Bat removal is a weeks long process and as freaky as the whole situation was, I always felt like things were progressing and the removal was going to be effective. Tyler was in frequent contact with us throughout the removal process and always professional, friendly, and sympathetic. Animal Removers is professional, thorough, and efficient. Yes - it is expensive but less than what we expected and honestly, shouldn't these guys get paid a million dollars for doing work like this? read more

Nick and his team did an awesome job taking care of my honey bee problem. The bees were under the subfloor in my daughters room. They knew exactly what to do and didn't destroy my house when getting the bees out. They did the job and put everything back the way it was. They provide Professional and courteous service. Highly recommend for any animal or pest removal needs. Thanks again Nick! read more

I had a problem with some stupid squirrles in my house. Animal remover came over in a very timely manner trapping and handling the animals in a humane manner. He was very polite and respectful to me and I could tell he was experienced in his field. Fixed my problems with the squirrles for a reasonable price and saved me thousands of dollars from the damage the squirrles could have done. I recommend Animal Remover!!! read more

Animal Remover came back to do the recommended clean-up and re-insulation of the attic. They were again very unobtrusive, running their vacuum hoses out the window instead of through the house, so as not to disturb my mother. They removed all the debris and excrement through the hoses, put in new insulation and patched the areas where raccoons had entered. They took before and after photos to show my mom the work that was done. They cleaned up after themselves completely. They were conscientious about completing the job & stayed late to do so. We would hire them again in a minute! read more

Called to have them remove Groundhogs. They would not admit that what I was dealing with was groundhogs even though I had two giant holes duh under my deck. Baited the traps with Little Debbie Oatmeal Pies and surprised that all they were catching was an opossum and a raccoon. Ended my service early with them, the agents I dealt with were unpleasant and I have them on camera coming back to my house weeks after service was ended and they had already collected the cages. Paid $300 for the same service I had already tried to get rid of the groundhogs. The only thing I can say is they are prompt at removing the animals they have caught, but also prompt at charging you the $80 to do so. read more

Service was terrible and the owner was RUDE! Don't waste your time! I called for removal of two bird nests. It was $179. The tech arrived and could only remove one nest because the other had eggs. He said it would be another $ 99 to come back when the eggs were hatched. Highway robbery! They were 2 small robin nests. The removal of both nest should have been included. Look for a better deal. read more

We had a raccoon in the attic and called Animal Remover to remove the raccoon and repair the damages. All of the technicians were very professional, thorough, and well trained. They came up with a plan to prevent future problems and quickly made the repairs. Definitely happy I used Animal Remover. I would recommend them to anyone with an animal problem. read more

Made an appointment and after a week my critter seems to have moved on. Called to cancel appointment a week in advance and they are charging a $39 cancelation fee ! I'm contesting it, but would recommend another provider. The fee is ridiculous given a weeks notice. read more

I had a swarm of bees in my exterior wall by the rear door. They were entering through a crack in the concrete, I called the Animal Remover emergency line and was prepared to pay the additional fee to have them removed within a couple of hours. The technician was polite and actually told me unless the bees were causing problems other than being able to hear them it would save me some money if I just went ahead and made an appointment instead of utilizing the emergency service. He said he would be more than happy to come out right away, but didn't feel I was in any danger, then left the choice to me. I decided to make the appointment, a few days later another technician came and removed the bees. I would recommend Animal Remover for anyone who has an animal nuisance issue. They were very professional, and I felt they advised me on the best option to resolve my issue. read more

Super nice people. We weren't sure if a nest outside our house was honey bees or yellow jackets, and they came out, identified the insect and gave us a free estimate. They also were very concerned about protecting the honey bee for environmental reasons, which I liked. read more

Event occurred in the summer of 2016. We called Animal Remover for a groundhog that had taken up residence underneath a bay window in our kitchen. Animal Remover set a trap in the hole, but a skunk got caught in the trap. The trap did not kill the skunk, just wounded it, so the skunk let loose against the side of the house. No house is "air tight" and there really are no words to describe the acrid smell in the house.especially the lower level rec room, laundry room, and ground floor. We called Animal Remover and told them our awful situation and it took them 3 hours to get over to our house, meanwhile the skunk continued to periodically spray the house. When they finally arrived, we told them the skunk was still alive, but the employee crawled under the bay window anyway to retrieve the skunk and got sprayed right in the face! The poor guy came stumbling out and we turned the water hose on for him to flush his eyes! (Cannot make this stuff up...) They had to use the noose to strangle the skunk (of course it is spraying the entire time, draining every last drop) and bag it. By then the house reeked beyond measure...I can't really describe how awful it was. I used all the home remedies to try to get the stink out. Luckily we had a whole house fan or we would had to move to a hotel. There is still residue of skunk to this day when you pick up an item in the laundry room that has not been wiped down yet ... after a year! They never got the groundhog. It was not their fault that the skunk got caught in the trap, but once it did, and we alerted them, I did not think the response was appropriate. read more
