Lychee punch, glass noodles with shrimp Pad Woon Sen
    Addie F.

I absolutely loved my food from here, but I don't remember the name of it. I believe it is the Pad Woon Sen. It reminds me of "pancit bihon" from Cocina Elena in the other building of Asia Times Square. It's glass noodles with shrimp as my chosen meat, sautéed tomatoes and onions as well. I also had the Lychee punch and enjoyed it a lot. The food was made fresh and in a timely manner, and the employees were kind and helpful. I don't recall if the roll at the top of my plate was from there or from a different restaurant in this dining hall.

Came to Asian Time Square for some yummy food and decided to try this place. We got the curry fried rice with chicken, beef sticks, curry chicken sticks and mango sticky rice. The curry fried rice was excellent as well as the mango sticky rice! The sticks were good but I've had better here during outdoor festival days from food trucks. That being said, I'll definitely be back for the curry fried rice and mango sticky rice!

Apsara Stumbled upon an Asian plaza near where I was staying. Glad I discovered Apsara, which specialized in Cambodian and Thai cuisines. I got Lort Cha (11.95), which is a Cambodian Stir fried rice pin noodle plate with egg, chives, and bean sprouts. This was a fantastic dish. I rarely find noodles in this shape. It was nostalgic for my mom as well, since she said it reminded her of her childhood in Hong Kong. This dish had a very distinct sweet taste, but was a bit salty towards the end. Definitely going to try more Cambodian dishes

Aspara has different levels for their stir-fried plates. I selected the pad thai level 3 to be safe. The menu has level 1 to 9000 for $1.50. Level 9000! I think they have so many levels to make you pay more. Level 3 wasn't spicy at all to me. I was thinking about adding shrimp and chicken for $3 each. However, I wasn't paying an additional $6. I had chicken and shrimp at home. I was ordering so many items from the food court that I forgot the pad thai had peanuts. I like peanuts but not usually in my food. The pad thai was ok. I wish I had selected the recommended chicken fried rice. Maybe it would've wowed me. I've been hearing about mango sticky rice but couldn't push myself to get it for $8. The service was good with a welcoming atmosphere.

    Pad Woon Sen with Shrimps

The staff are friendly and explained the different menu items since this was my first time here. Pad Wood Sen was amazing. I only do mild but you can tell them the spice level you prefer. There were lots of big shrimps on the noodle dish & that was a surprise, which I was thankful. You pay extra for whatever protein you like. It is worth what you pay for. I know I will be back, during my Asian Store runs. The serving is huge. Can be shared by 2 people. Highly recommend.

Pad Thai with chicken level 2 spice

Food had zero taste, spice levels 2 and 3 still needed pepper flakes. The pad thai was swimming in a swer brown sauce that didn't resemble any pad thai I had ever had. Very disappointing...the one was given just to make the post.

    Sticky rice with mango

I've been before and ordered the Lort Cha and that is an absolute winner. Todays mango sticky rice is another story. The mango looked terrible. Like spoiled and old terrible. I'd rather they just not sell it to me than charge me and deliver this dish that isn't even edible. Three stars is because the cashier was super friendly.

Pad kee Mao chicken level 4 spicy
    Mary T.

It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. I had the pad kee Mao with chicken level 4 spicy. There was no spice, I didn't even feel a little kick. Noodles were soft. Too much bell peppers to "fill" the plate. Flavor was heavy on the fish sauce. I will probably give them one more try before saying I'll never come back.

Super yummy! Will definitely come back. Noodles are perfect, beef is thin but chewy (not a fan) but overall so delicious especially with the peanut on top. (I eat my noodles with no bean sprouts but they come with it)

    always 10/10

fast, delicious, and affordable! it's always hard to pick in this food court but apsara always hits

Peach Lychee Juice and Thai Tea
    Robyn C.

I have been hearing a lot about Apsara and how good it was which has made me wanting to try it out. I've never had Cambodian cuisine and was excited to try it. Finally made some time to get the the food court at ATS to try this place out and it was worth it. The peach lychee juice and the Thai tea were tasty. We ordered the beef pad see ew with level 3 spice. Spice level was perfect for my daughter. I tried her dish and thought it was better than the pad see ew from my favorite Thai restaurant. I had the Shrimp Lort Cha with level 2 spice. That was the perfect level for me and my mom. A slight kick but not overpowering for my tastebuds. This was my fave dish out of the three we ordered. My mom ordered the Twa Ko combo and the Khmer sausage was delicious. I was not going to try the papaya salad because I tried it once years ago and not like it at all. I thought I didn't like papaya salad, but it turns out that I just had a really bad one that first time and I have been missing out. The papaya salad here has me wanting to try it out at other restaurants because I think I now know what it is supposed to taste like! You order at the counter and they bring you the food to the table. The ladies working tonight were very friendly and the food came out piping hot and fresh. And it was pretty quick. Overall, it was good food and good service!

    Pad See-Ew

Pad-se-ew noodles were stuck together and cut weird. The chicken was a little burnt so it had a charred taste instead of good flavor. However, the cashier was very nice and helped us out when our ticket was lost.

    Bai Mon
    James P.

Cambodian food from Apsara! Pictured here are their three most popular Cambodian dishes according to their cashier: Lort Cha/Pin Noodles Bai Mon (the dish with the chicken) Curry Fried Rice Like their Laotian counterparts, this place also uses Thai food as a support to keep the more difficult side of the business going which works both for and against them. Customer education and expectations is something to figure out. For example, some people from their reviews see Apsara only as a Thai restaurant which becomes a problem later on when pickled papaya and papaya salad are two different things. That chicken dish, bai mon, then has a new interesting side or familiar disappointment. Nonetheless, if you're a fatty like me, it's worth exploring the Cambodian menu to expand on we thought we knew about Southeast Asian cuisine. And for $62 to eat the whole thing, that's not too bad.

This place is legit, the real deal! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area because it is so worth it. They are located in a small shopping strip mall thing on the Haltom city / Fort Worth border. I have had their duck, the tum yum soup, a rice noodle dish, and an appetiser I can't remember. During my most recent visit, I had the green curry with beef at a level 2 spice and the drunken noodles level 4. I love that they make sure to ask what level of spice you want on every dish because i have been to a couple of places that just make them all the same level as your main dish. In the past, I have gotten their Tum Yum soup, and its delicious. I had their pad se ew with beef, amazing. I had their spring rolls, pork belly, and they are one favorite things on the menu. I always end up ordering more than what I can eat, so i usually order dinner here and then take my leftovers for lunch to work the next day. The service here is great; they have lots of space to host a big lunch rush. Highly recommend yall try them out.

I really like the raw shrimp dish, the sauce is so good! Lao sausage is always a good choice. The fried pork with the dipping sauce was delicious as well. I could not handle the papaya salad... it burned my mouth. It's good but I only took one bite. The restaurant itself seems like a place that you can rent out for big parties. It has a stage and a full bar.

The inside of the restaurant is really spacious & beyond what you order to eat, there are additional grocery items and other knickknacks for purchase that you can enjoy. There's large windows running around the perimeter of the building, so you can see into infinity and beyond...as far as the parking lot and nearby stores go lol. Since it's close to the Lunar New Year there's extra decor they've placed both indoor and outdoor, which is really cool to see. When it comes to food, they have an extensive selection to choose from. I really enjoy that they have a lot of photos to reference in their menu, especially for people like me that like to get an idea of what I'm ordering. During this visit I ordered their salmon vermicelli dish (Ca Hoi Nuong) , pork belly spring rolls & their Nem Chua Heo aka "vampire meat" I found over in their grocery area. Everything was made fresh to order & absolutely delicious. The vermicelli dish is quite huge portion wise, so come hungry or plan to have leftovers. The spring rolls were to die for. I've never had pork belly spring rolls and just loved the crunch from the skin bits they added in there, the moistness and rich flavor of the meat, chewiness of the rice paper & really well made peanut sauce. I'm so tempted to drive back over there just for those. The nem chua was also good, but just good lol. It's very similar to salami in taste if you've never had it before, but has a slight sweetness to it. I must warn that it is on the spicier side once you eat it as intended with the garlic & chili on top so have a drink ready. Overall I think this was the best $30 I've spent in a while. I can't wait to come back.

Don't expect exceptional service at any traditional casual Vietnamese restaurants. The focus is the…read morefood because that's basically all you're getting. Bistro B has always been super well known in the Vietnamese community. Growing up, every time I would come-I would get the basic pho and spring rolls. I haven't been since 2017 that I've gone and now I have a friend who's a super adventurous eater like me, so I got to choose around the menu. The menu blew me away because what place has a Vietnamese household's traumatic childhood staples like bittermelon soup?!? This entire meal was incredibly nostalgic and heart-felt for me especially since I haven't been back to Vietnam since COVID has happened. This is truly the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever been to. Food ordered; - 707. Periwinkle in Spicy Tamarind Sauce (ỐC HƯƠNG SỐT ME): I have never seen a Vietnamese restaurant with snails before. I remember eating this all the time in the streets of Vietnam. The sauce and Vietnamese coriander were incredible along with the snail texture. - 23. Asian Crepe with Shrimp and Beef (BÁNH XÈO TÔM THỊT): It tasted like a solid definition of what Banh Xeo is supposed to be. The size of it though is insane to me. I've had Bánh Xèo at other restaurants-which are made to normal sizes, but this size is insane. Definitely ended up being leftovers. _ 119. Angel vermicelli served with grilled pork, and roast pork belly (BÁNH HỎI THỊT NƯỚNG VÀ HEO QUA): It tasted like how it is supposed to take. Definitely great dish as well. Portion size is also huge as well, so leftovers as well. Drink order: 413. ARTICHOKE BOM - NƯỚC MÁT (Artichoke Drink, Jelly, Basil Seed): I often get artichoke tea, so I was super excited to show my friend who has never had this before. It was way too sweet for us, but adding water into it definitely made it better. BTW, he ordered the durian smoothie which also tasted good, but it was less naturally tasteful than other places. Overall, this is the best authentic Vietnamese food I've had in a very long time. If you're an adventurous eater, I would definitely recommend trying something different other than spring rolls, pho, fried rice, or chow mein. Everything is super acquired though, but I truly do recommend if you're opened to it. ALSO, this has also been the best service I've ever had at a Vietnamese place. You don't come in ever expecting service. However, the lady who took care of us brought us new fresh plates for our new dish which shocked us especially as servers from an upscale restaurant. Water did take a while to refill, but the change of new plates blew us away. Thus, the food, service, and the super authentic and nostalgic ambiance definitely was an amazing experience. We are definitely coming back for more snails and other dishes!!
