Joe did the appraisal for our home purchase, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. He is extremely professional, thorough, and detail-oriented. He took the time to carefully inspect the property and explained the appraisal process in a way that was easy to understand. What really impressed us was that he patiently answered all of our questions--not only about the appraisal itself, but also about permits, property improvements, and other real estate-related topics. Since he has many years of experience as a real estate broker in addition to being an appraiser, his knowledge and insights were incredibly valuable. Joe never rushed us and was generous with his time and expertise. It's rare to find someone who is both highly knowledgeable and genuinely willing to educate and help their clients. We highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and professional appraiser. Thank you, Joe, for making this part of our home-buying process so smooth and informative! read more

Joe couldn't have been more thorough and kind during all three of the appraisals I needed. Great value as well!

Joe was fantastic. I needed appraisals on two of my properties - in Palm Springs and Big Bear - and was pleasantly surprised he would go to two locations not even very close to each other. I was especially impressed when we ran into an unexpected situation driving up to Big Bear. I was driving to meet him at the cabin, and we both ran into a road closure just about 10 miles from my place. There are no other alternate routes up there, which meant we both had to drive all the way back down the mountain, around to the back of it, to then take the back road up. It added around an hour and a half to the drive time but Joe went with the flow and did not seem bothered at all. Another appraiser may have canceled at that point or at least rescheduled and I would not have blamed them. In the end his rate was reasonable, his values were fair, and his service and turnaround time were outstaning. Five stars, highly highly recommend! read more

I am currently going through a divorce, and my sister, a mortgage loan underwriter, recommended Mr. Joe Quinteros, the President and CEO of Appraisal House. She had the opportunity to evaluate many of his appraisals that went through her desk, and she finds him to be highly competent and reputable in the industry. So, I called Joe to appraise my property. Personally, I found Joe to be extremely professional in handling the appraisal process. His research was very thorough and complete. I have no doubt in my mind that Joe Q deserves this 5-stars review, and I highly recommend him. read more

Joe has been an appraiser on our panel at PRMG for as long as we have had AMC's around, and I used him well before this for over the past 10 years. Joe has always done a wonderful job of balancing "bracketing" and logic when he is appraising homes. He is obviously going to to right for the investor he is doing the appraisal for, but is also immensely aware of trends and areas, hinging it to his vast real estate investment knowledge. You will be hard pressed to find an appraiser who balances the depth of knowledge he has for his craft along with common sense. Top it with great speed and accuracy, and you have the best of all worlds. Highly recommended. read more
