This company was dispatched through my service contract with Choice Home Warranty for washer repair. The tech came,ooked at washer ,said it needed a new pump but claimed I had some plumbing issues. I jad that rectified and the tech came back, gave me a window between 3 and 7pm so I waited all day and he finally showed up at close to 8pm, stayed 10 minutes and refused to complete the service due to some debris and "smell" behind my washer then canceled service altogether. I do NOT recommend this company AT ALL. I'm without my washer almost a month and now the warranty service company has to dispatch to another company. read more

The gentleman who came to do service was fantastic. He made it look easy. He insured everything was working after he determined the issues. He was attentive to cleaning up which with water and stainless steel is important. Afterwards he took time show me things I hadn't fully known were features that make things easier for me. My friends recommended me this company. And I'm pleasantly surprised with their work! My fridge and washer were out of order at the same time, it was a total disaster for me. One of Applix technicians came on time, was very professional and polite. He fixed the fridge immediately and ordered necessary parts for the washer. Wow Applix LLC thank you for wasting 2 weeks of my time.. Had a problem with my washer machine Applix came one on time I may say took 10 mins looking at the machine said I will order the part and B.B will let me know when it was ready and to set up an appointment for Applix to come back may take about 1 week the guy said ok no problem 2 weeks go by no call no email I call be BB and they tell me to call Applix I called they set a date 3 days later they came back out want to the machine 15 mins later he came out I'm done ok let's check it out will you believe the problem was not fix at all then he going to tell me My job done u have to call BB back I ask him for a business card or some type of paperwork he said I don't have anything and walk rite out.. I'm very happy with this company. I reached out to them to see about fixing my dryer. They were responsive and made haste to send out a technician. Andrey arrived on time and quickly got to work diagnosing the issue. He told me what needed to be replaced and explained the process so I was left with confidence that the issue would be resolved. When it came to replacing the part, he got the job done quickly as promised and I now have a working dryer again! Very courteous and professional technician who is skilled in his craft. Horrible, Sears came by diagnosed my washer because the cycle would finish but the clothes would be soaking wet still. They said it was the computer and capacitor, unfortunately they could not get the computer so choice assigned Applix to diagnose which they did and said the lid lock was broke, and left. I went to look at the washer later on and the locking mechanism was completely broke not even the reason I called for maintenance, they also told choice warranty that it wasn't normal wear and tear, and now they won't cover it when we called to appeal and said can they review what sear (the first contractor they had come) had said they said they have to go by the last contractor. So I guess this is a bad review for Applix as well as Choice warranty, would have gave them 0 stars if I could read more

The company works with insurance company Choice Home Warranty (CHW) that charges service fees in addition to monthly fees. After charging triple service fees up front the company refused to provide any repairs. Technician called from his phone, provided fake name "Bob" and arrived with his son, a day before an appointment was scheduled by the Choice Home Warranty. Insurance company stated that technicians should be licensed. Technician refused to provide his real name, address of the company, refused to show his ID and/or business card but demanded money up front 3 times higher that was indicated by the insurance company on the email. The technician and his son came in without masks, cover on their shoes, and without gloves. "Bob" claimed that first he needed to move the stove to check the proper gas connection and to see if it was a smell of the gas. Technician stated that the gas stove was installed properly and their was no gas leak. Technician stated that repairs are needed due to normal wears and tears and that insurance company would cover for repairs. Technician demanded and took money and stated that in order to order the parts for repairs he needed to collect money first, and that once the parts arrive to his company he would fix appliances. The technician claimed that the money is to order the parts for repairs. Technician took money over $200 but refused to order the parts and to fix any appliances, as he promised. Technician and/or the company refused to provide description of the issue and a document to the owner in writing that he could not fix appliances. Abek stated that he was a manager, claimed that thier company did not order any parts as technician promised and that the insurance company CHW should sent another company without charging the owner again but the insurance company refused to sent another company. Insurance company CHW instead scheduled a second appointment with the technician from the same company a week later, the customer was waiting all day but the technician failed to show up or call after taking money up front from the customer over $200 during the 1st visit. It seems that they only wanted to get money over $200 up front for a service call in addition to several monthly fees but after money were provided by the customer during the 1st visit they refused to make any repairs. They refused to return money back and refused to order parts and provide repairs. Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Consumers Affairs could be contacted to check how many customers filed complains. read more

I have a home warranty thru Choice Home warranty and I called for servicing on my dryer and washer (both came with my newly purchased home). Both were having issues. The gas valve was going to cost too much to replace if repaired by this company on the dryer so my warranty company chose to replace it. But the washer they chose to repair thru this company which long behold sucks for me. Not only did it take them almost a month to repair my washer with their horrible scheduling but also they came to repair it and the washer worked for all of a week. Now it's making horribly loud noises and barely spinning on the Rinse cycle. So I called them and they're telling me that they're overbooked and they won't be able to get anyone to me for at least a week. Not only that but when I do get a representative on the phone they barely speak English and they make empty promises of getting back to you for scheduling and they never do. This company has horrible customer service and as a existing customer I don't believe they have much loyalty or regard for their customers and the quality of their work. I will be expressing my concerns to my warranty company and requesting that they never assign this company to either one of my homes under my policy again . FAIL read more
