Well tech Symon such a professional, polite and a very nice person fixed my Ice maker and I would only want him to come becaue he is so freindlyand knowledgeable. Choice Home Warranty gave them the job. Technician came in. Looked at microwave. I stepped out of kitchen to allow him to work. About 15 minutes later, tech says ok all done, that will be $85. I ask if he takes card, he says I can pay via Zelle. I say to him one other thing on the work order-please remove broken light bulb from socket. He unscrews the cover to see what I'm describing. Again I step out of the room believing this person is operating in integrity. Couple of moments go by again he says ok and I escort him out. No invoice for work done. No discussion of whether microwave is now working. It's on me for not double checking whether he had actually done what he was sent here to do. It's on this business for having employees who don't operate in integrity and provide professional service. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. read more

Dishwasher bought from Home Depot. For 5 months a company called Dependable tried to fix it. They couldn't. They were disorganized, kept closing the case and the office was hard to communicate with. We asked Home Depot to switch us to another repair company and they gave us Applix. Ramil came several times and kept working on our Washer until it was Fixed. They were sent to me from Choice Home Warranty for my washer. I have a stackable unit and was told that I had to remove the dryer to diagnose the washer. Waited weeks for diagnosis since the tech only looked at the drain pump. Then had to wait for part to come in. A different tech came back and he couldn't do anything because it is a 2 person job. They really expected me to disconnect my dryer on top and take it off the top of the washer. In 4 days it will be a month without a washer. Seems like they just want to collect the $85 service fee and fix nothing. Had to give 1 star just to post review smh. read more

Applix was absolutely amazing. Under a home warranty agreement. they came out multiple times for different component failures for a 10 year old Kenmore refrigerator. Each time they followed up diligently to make sure everything was still working OK and when there were new failures, they responded very quickly with new service calls. Incredibly impressed with my entire experience from start to finish. Contacted them in the evening on Easter Sunday and they had someone out to me 8AM the next morning. My top load washing machine was not draining water. Technician stated it may be a bad pump and provided me a reasonable price. After he started working on it he found a collar stay was in the pump and jamming it. He removed it and reassembled. The repair was completed and for $100 less then he quoted due to the machine not needing a new pump. For honest, fast and most importantly good service I cannot recommend APPLIX enough. Beware of working with this company if you're dealing with warranty claims. Their support is awful, and they have a habit of ghosting customers. We've been told parts weren't available for over two weeks (and possibly longer), despite us being able to find the parts ourselves. They refuse to install anything unless it's done their way. After waiting weeks with no updates, they stopped responding altogether - no calls, no replies. It's been over a week since we last heard from them. The technician was great. The follow up from the main office, not so much. They incorrectly cited an electrical surge but never said anything while on-site. I was told by the front office that the rules they agreed to with choice home warranty amount to NOT informing the customer what's wrong. Does that make any sense? Why not be transparent ? Apparently my 20-year old microwave isn't working because of an electrical surge, and not normal wear and tear. I can't totally fault Applix, since they only agreed to Choice Home Warranty's rules. But be aware that they are not on your side and will try to appease the Warranty company. read more

While the actual repairs took 2 months ( not their fault, rather fault of Thor to send the necessary parts ), Applix: - Replied same day as I opened support request. - Immediately replied to text messages and phone calls. - Scheduled visits *next day* as various parts continue to arrive. - Technician was on-time, short time windows, none of this 9am to 4pm stuff. On top of that, professional, diagnosed everything correctly, and fixed it. The only part of the long repair ordeal that I am NOT frustrated with is Applix LLC. Scam artists. They charged a service call feel to come and look and claimed it would be applied to the job. But when you get a quote they Overcharge to compensate. I asked how replacing a seal on a dishwasher would cost 250 in labor and they stated thats their minimum rate. I was not informed of a minimum rate before the service call. read more

For a 3pm appointment to fix the stove/oven, they show up at 930am with no warning. They leave without fixing the oven despite assurance they would fix it at the appointment and would bring the right parts in advance. In fact, the technician goes out of the house to "talk to Choice" and says he will be back. He then drives off... For reasons then I cannot fathom (maybe to salvage money from Choice Home Warranty) a magical claim of their being mice in the house is made up from them...we have never had a single mouse in the house FYI. If you get assigned these , in my opinion, crooks request a reassignment immediately based on the amount of lies and irresponsibility I had to deal with. read more

Very happy with Applix. My washer was not draining properly and was covered under a service contract by Best Buy. The Geek Squad team that first looked at the machine was convinced that the pump needed to be replaced but could not do it because the repair team was not licensed to unhook my gas dryer, which is stacked on the washer. Best Buy subsequently contracted out the repair to replace the pump. After the second repair company no showed, Applix was contracted for the third appointment. The repair person called promptly at the beginning of the appointment window and said he would arrive within the half hour. After arriving, he examined the machine and determined that the pump was fine and that was a clog in the drain line. He promptly cleared the clog and the machine has been working fine for a few weeks now. It was a pleasant experience dealing with Applix. read more

This company was dispatched through my service contract with Choice Home Warranty for washer repair. The tech came,ooked at washer ,said it needed a new pump but claimed I had some plumbing issues. I jad that rectified and the tech came back, gave me a window between 3 and 7pm so I waited all day and he finally showed up at close to 8pm, stayed 10 minutes and refused to complete the service due to some debris and "smell" behind my washer then canceled service altogether. I do NOT recommend this company AT ALL. I'm without my washer almost a month and now the warranty service company has to dispatch to another company. read more

We have a 28 year old Sub Zero refrigerator that was malfunctioning in several different ways. The biggest issue was our continued inability to easily re-insert the ice making bin. No bin, no ice. And it was unable to dispense water for the past 7 years. And a shelf wasn't hanging right on the refrigerator side. We have had several refrigerator repair guys here to look over this ancient rotting corpse where we keep our food. We THOUGHT they knew what they were doing. My son, a tech wizard, was able to get the bin back in place six months ago. This is not an option fir us now as he lives five states away. In complete desperation, we called APPLIX, and a young man of a few words came to our house, on time, and proceeded to teach us everything. He fixed the old gal up as best as could be done. He replaced a few lost screws and the ice bin went right in, smooth as silk. He removed a clog from our water delivery, and presto, we now has ice water as well as ice coming from the Sub Zero. I am still flabbergasted at this young fellow's knowledge and kindness. read more
