In order for me to get them scheduled I had to pre-pay for the replacement icemaker they showed up a few days later replaced the icemaker and supposedly corrected the issue that was causing the melting ice. They helped diagnose what the failure was but also were Horst with the repair cost, and informed me of a flare rate repair program from the manufacturer because of the type of failure is known and common. They are honest, easy to talk to and I will definitely be using them in the future.

If every home-warranty contractor operated like Choice One, the world would run a whole lot…read moresmoother. From the first call, they were on it~quick, clear, real people who actually communicate (a lost art these days). They made the scheduling painless, worked around my availability, and treated me like a person instead of a claim number. They sent out Steven, and let me just say: five stars for him alone. Professional, straightforward, no fluff. He walked in, diagnosed the issue, explained it in plain language, and didn't drag out the process. Just honest, competent work~the kind you stop taking for granted once you've dealt with less~than~stellar contractors. Before I even had time to wonder "okay, what's next?", Choice One reached out again to let me know the parts were ordered and they'd keep me updated. And they did. Fast, friendly, proactive communication the whole way through. I've been through my share of warranty contractors and some of them... well, let's just say you brace yourself. But this team? A pleasure. If you're working with Old Republic and you see Choice One pop up as your assigned contractor, breathe easy~you're getting one of the good ones.

Being asked for my phone number to "explain over the phone " why they might not be able to help me same day was very inappropriate. Big thanks to YELP for making these types of searches easy and for helping keep us all safe with providing a way to communicate without giving out personal information.
