Being asked for my phone number to "explain over the phone " why they might not be able to help me same day was very inappropriate. Not only was it midnight, but the entire conversation had been completed via messages , so why wouldn't this information be told via messages? This made me feel extremely uneasy. In addition, I had to ask multiple times about licensing. In short - watch yourself. Be aware. If something seems off, it probably is. One Vacuum needed a new handle lock and release push bottom which broke, and the other Kenmore Vacuums Roller Brush was not moving. So I took both vacuums to Mike's Vacuum Repair in Beaumont, CA at 1390 East 6th Street. I called the Sears Appliance Repair store on Ramsey Street in Banning first because I had 2 Sears Kenmore Vacuum's. But I was on hold for 22 minutes before someone answered me. Then that lady transferred me to the Service department where I was on hold for another 25 minutes, and no one ever answered me. So I hung up ! When I called Mike's Vacuum Repair in Beaumont at 951-769-6944, Natalie Mike's Mom answered the phone right away and was one of the nicest and knowledgeable ladies I have ever talked with at an appliance repair store. I then took my 2 Vacuums to Mike's Vacuum Repair store and talked with Mike personally about what was happening with my Vacuums. The next day I received a call back from Natalie telling me that my Vacuums were ready to be picked up. When I got to the store Mike came out and explained that because the vacuums were very old, he could not get a new Handle Lock and Release Push Bottom part for one of my Vacuums. But he said to fix the problem for me, he hand made a new spring loaded Handle Release Bottom and installed it on my Vacuum. For the 2nd Vacuum Mike showed me a small white bottom on the side of the Vacuum where the side hose is attached, that was not pushed in and explained to me that was the reason why the Roller Brush was not working. Mike thoroughly checked and cleaned both Vacuums and made the one repair, but when I asked him how much my bill for his work was, he said ZERO. That's correct 0, NOTHING ! He said because he could not put on any new parts and that the one Vacuum was just a knowledge mistake that I did not know about, my bill was ZERO ! Mike is one of the most Honest, Sincere, and Down To Earth people I have ever met. He really cares about doing the " Right Things For People". Mike also repairs Small Appliances, and Guitars. Yes Guitars ! Mike has been doing repairs for Restaurants and Customers for over 10 years. What a great place to take your Household Cleaners, Vacuums, Small Appliances, or Guitars for Service.
