Later down the road when we needed a little more work and care on said applianceS I discovered he was no longer working for the company that brought him to us...they were kind enough to tell me where he was and how to reach him. I learned he started his own busines. I am so thankful his old employer shared his contact info. Because as I said...I will not let anyone other than Jon (and as I have been shown: those he trusts to hire) touchmy appliances. Not only has he done maintenance and repairs In my home, he has also helped find and install the right dishwasher For me and helped my mother choose and install a perfect microwave for her needs. This past week I have been helping my twin brother. His dishwasher stopped working. I immediately called Jon as I desperately needed his professional opinion on what dishwashers I would be researching to replace said 15 year old Washer. It is his knowledge and opinion that I desired above and beyond all others. Jon was so kind to call me back and advise me. I so wished he was available to hire is my brothers town!!!! But even being far from home, it was him I needed to advise me! And he did knowing he wouldn't be hired to do this job....someone unknown to be but local to my brother will. So thank you Jon....you took valuable time out of your day to help advise me and ease my anxiety on choosing an appliance that will be used daily by my brother. Choosing the right washer vs one he hates is a lot of pressure! The time and knowledge you shared with me over the phone has eased my anxiety and has given me confidence. However it took them 2 and 3 tries on 3 appliances to get them "fixed". But alas, only 1 of the 3 actually is fixed. They seemed to immediately want to throw parts at the issues but the parts never fixed the problems. And then instead of just coming back and making it right they wanted us to go through our home warranty people. I wouldn't recommend even though they are very nice people. It's shouldn't take 3 trips to fix an appliance. Further, on our washer the new repairman with different company found the issue in no time and we never needed the parts Ifix installed to begin with.

0 Stars as Don Owen the tech who was hired by Sears for my washer repair doesn't appear to have any…read moreintegrity- he came and looked at my washer - ordered the part came back installed it washer still doesn't work- he said he was going o get the part it needed then doesn't come back mind you this is Aug 25th 2017 on Aug 28th 2017 he calls and said the wire harness is on back order and he will call when he gets it- So I call Sears as I still have not heard anything- I am advised from them that he has closed the ticket, said the repair was complete and was paid for completing the job! They reopened the ticket and called him and he stated that he will now order the part and get it repaired- Let's see how this goes but if I was picking someone to do the repair myself it definitely would not be him! DO NOT TRUST OR USE HIM!!!

The technician initially recommended replacing a thermistor, which we approved based on his professional judgment. The repair did not resolve the issue. On a later visit, the technician himself expressed doubt that further expensive repairs would help. When we tried to resolve this with management, communication was extremely poor--we were repeatedly told someone would call us back and no one did. When we finally reached a manager, we were offered only ~$120 back, while being charged for multiple visits, diagnostics, and a part that did not fix the problem. At no point was it clearly explained that this would be a trial-and-error process with uncertain results. Very disappointing experience--both in terms of the repair outcome and how the situation was handled.

I was getting an air flow error on my dryer. Denis came out and "checked" my vents and said they…read morewere fine. He said we could continue to use the dryer (and need to restart it every 10 minutes and take hours to dry 1 batch), replace the control board for $700-800, or buy a new dryer. So, I purchased a new dryer, got it installed yesterday and $1k later, I'm still getting the same air flow error. it has to be the vents. I called customer service to have someone competent actually come out and fix it. Their hours say open 24 hours, same day service. But that is only for scheduling apparently because they said it won't be until Monday before someone will call me back. The incompetence and lack of customer service is beyond frustrating. Follow-up... I have record that Denis was arriving to my house about 20 minutes after 3:03 pm from a text message. At 3:26 was when I got a call with his recommendation of a circuit board. He clearly had no time to do any diagnostics that he claims to have done. After a few unhelpful calls with staff, Noel, the manager was rude, unprofessional and refused to do anything to help with this situation. Horrible customer service on top of horrible business ethics. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
