I first met Jon around 5 years back. We had just purchased a home in Ogden Utah and shortly there after had kitchen appliances needing repairs. Our home warranty plan sent us Jonathan. At that time he worked under another business. And we were so grateful that he was sent to us. To replace the appliances in our kitchen Will be crazy expensive. He was amazing! And quickly became the only repair person I wIll let touch my appliances. Later down the road when we needed a little more work and care on said applianceS I discovered he was no longer working for the company that brought him to us...they were kind enough to tell me where he was and how to reach him. I learned he started his own busines. I am so thankful his old employer shared his contact info. Because as I said...I will not let anyone other than Jon (and as I have been shown: those he trusts to hire) touchmy appliances. Not only has he done maintenance and repairs In my home, he has also helped find and install the right dishwasher For me and helped my mother choose and install a perfect microwave for her needs. This past week I have been helping my twin brother. His dishwasher stopped working. I immediately called Jon as I desperately needed his professional opinion on what dishwashers I would be researching to replace said 15 year old Washer. It is his knowledge and opinion that I desired above and beyond all others. Jon was so kind to call me back and advise me. I so wished he was available to hire is my brothers town!!!! But even being far from home, it was him I needed to advise me! And he did knowing he wouldn't be hired to do this job....someone unknown to be but local to my brother will. In short very disappointed. Liked the initial interactions and the general communication. Repair guys were nice and prompt. However it took them 2 and 3 tries on 3 appliances to get them "fixed". But alas, only 1 of the 3 actually is fixed. They seemed to immediately want to throw parts at the issues but the parts never fixed the problems. And then instead of just coming back and making it right they wanted us to go through our home warranty people. I wouldn't recommend even though they are very nice people. It's shouldn't take 3 trips to fix an appliance. Further, on our washer the new repairman with different company found the issue in no time and we never needed the parts Ifix installed to begin with. read more

These guys do an amazing job. Fixed dryer that was not working. Figure out within minutes it was a fuse. Part was available in Zack's truck.

I had ifix come out to fix a broken dishwasher. They made a diagnosis of a broken pump, and let me know the fix would be over $600 and would take a week. A few weeks later I had not heard from them so I called another appliance repair company. The other company(appliance repair by Paul) was able to fix the dishwasher that day, and noted that the pump was in excellent condition. Having used ifix before I am realizing they are malicious scammers and always find a very expensive part to replace. I am certain they were being dishonest rather then misdiagnosing my dishwasher. read more

I had another encounter with the fridge in my house. Seems we had a ghost that was switching the panel on the front of the fridge.... water...crushed... cubed.... over and over again. And, of course, each time Casper pushed the button it had to make a "ding" sound which was more annoying than having a ghost. Or the panel went out on this 10 year old bad boy. Either way. So I call the folks at iFix who answer the phone instead of sending me to voice mail. We talk. He enters my info. He finds me in his computer. I tell him the symptoms and that I think it was the panel that has gone bad. He agrees. This is where it gets good. iFix: "Are you capable of small repairs?" Me: "Well, I know my way around a screwdriver." iFix: "Very good. Here is the part number. You can order it on Amazon and watch a YouTube video for the basic installation. It's really not hard and we don't like to charge a service visit for something that easy for you. IF you have troubles, we could come put it in for you but you should really try it first." Blown away. Seriously. Who does this? iFix does. They understand the value of customer loyalty. And I am now firmly seated in that category. They are honest and in it for all of us. This company does not hire honest repair technicians. After checking my appliance, and deciding it was not worth repairing. the technician asked to use my bathroom before he left. He walked down the hall past my bedroom door to find the bathroom. My jewelry hanger was on the dresser in my bedroom in full view from the hall. The next day after he left, I noticed a valuable piece of jewelry missing from my bedroom dresser. if it were possible to rate this business, with 1/2 of a star or NO STAR, I would!! read more

I rarely take the time to write reviews but am glad to do so in this case. I contacted iFix to set up a tech visit to diagnose a problem with my Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. Along the way we discovered that I live outside of their service area, but Jonathan offered to try and get a tech that lives in my area to come by on the way to / from work. As we continued to talk, Jonathan prompted me to describe the situation further and took the time to walk me through the potential problems, ranging from compressor to relay to board and giving me approximate costs to repair / replace each and who I might contact to get the parts I would need. With Jonathan's help I was able to locate the failed component and make arrangements for a cost-effective repair. Jonathan took the time at the end of the work day to stay on the phone with me and help. We had just moved home from out-of-state and had no food / nowhere to put food. I called this fairly new one-man company about a malfunctioning burner on our stove. Over the years, I've had many many appliances repaired. This was by far the best experience I've had. Jonathan (the owner) and his crew were prompt and honest. My Samsung oven (which I would never buy again) kind of had an internal explosion and they were very patient with diagnosing the problem and quickly ordering the parts needed and coming back to install them. We spent 3 weeks trying to get another recommended company to come and even look at our problem, then we gave up. We called iFix and Jonathan came promptly. After a short time of diagnosing the cause of the problem, removed it from above the range. He replaced the parts he had with him and had to order one other part. A few years ago my stacking washer dryer had the timer go out. The part was expensive and my husband is usually a diy person. Also, he has been a repair person. He almost had to pry the thing away though!!! I loved the stacking washer/dryer. We live in an old farm house with a laundry room that only has room for one appliance. Tall 9' ceilings, so up was the way to go. We scoured the local areas, and we just were not finding anything that fit in our budget and fit in our little space. I don't know how we found this place but it was a God send. They had the HE washer dryer pair front loading, I could stack the dryer on top. I'd never had front loading, and I was relectant. They sold me the two appliances for a very reasonable price. about a year after putting them in use--some of the clothes came out of the dryer with dark stains.
