I am writing this review to hopefully help others. I lost out on $270 because an employee at this company did not fix my washing machine. He took my cash and attempted to fix the machine. When he was done, the machine was still broken the same way it was before I called him. He told us we couldn't talk to the owner of the company and eventually stopped contacting us at all. We spent more money getting a new washer and I'm out $270 for absolutely no reason. If you promise to fix something you should do just that, or make it right. They blew us off and ran with our money. Please dont fall for it. Mike was really nice to our faces but be careful. You might just lose out on your money too if you use this company. I pray they make it right and give us money back but I'm not holding my breath. We are a family of 4 with a toddler nephew so we can't not do laundry. It is something we needed to have fixed. I was assigned Appliance Corral by our home warranty company. They took a few phone calls over a few days to get me on the schedule and I had to have a two day window available, but Mike did come out and diagnose and fix both my washer struts and freezer cooling fan in a short amount of time. The tech "Mike" said the bill would be 253. he wanted payment so he could get the part. They cashed the check but never came back to do the repair, and DO NOT return calls. Now I'll have to file in small claims court. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH APPLIANCE CORRAL. I paid $369 to have my washer fixed. The technician came and knowingly left half of an old screw in while installing the new part which left my washer to break again 2 weeks later. It's been 4 months and they have yet to return my calls on a refund. When I showed up to their business to get my refund, they refused to open the door, leaving me no choice but to get law enforcement involved. I will definitely be taking them to civil court for their bad service, shady business and disrespectful business practices. read more

I had a similar problem with this company. Called them out to look at fridge not staying cold August 2019. Mike came out, didn't even bring in any tools. Said it was evap fan, wrote me up an estimate of which I had to give him a deposit check, which later we found out he immediately raced down to the bank to cash it. Said he would be back the following week once the part came in. Meanwhile did some research, found negative reviews, and proceeded to use you tube to take the evap fan out myself. Ordered the part for a quarter of the price Mike quoted and put it in myself Called Mike back and said the fridge started working so cancelled future service. After "restocking fee" was owed a $75 refund that would be mailed within 30 days. Have called several times to no avail. I haven't given up yet! Don't use Appliance Corral, they are a rip off. read more

They are a rip off! I looked up the part they used and it was $50 then charged me $350 for 20 minutes of work. I'm giving two stars because it's fixed but the guy is a straight up crook. read more

I would give them an F rating... They are a rip off. Won't answer the phone, won't contact you until after you drop it with credit card.company. He was belligerent to me ,would not listen and hung up me. Said I was waiting his time!! Don't bother using them. read more

We have had a similar issue to others here. They came out on 8/11, took a $275 deposit to order a part to repair our dishwasher, and a month and a half later, I have heard nothing more from them. They don't return calls and are never at the office. Looks like it's small claims court time for us also. read more

As of today, September 16, we have still not received our refund. Each time we call, the receptionist says that their "finance department" will call in 24-48 hours. Still no call.....this has been since JUNE. I would,strongly suggest that NOBODY ever uses this company. Well, unless you want your blood pressure increased. read more

Would give Corral Appliances 0 stars if possible. Refrigerator not cooling. Called Corral Services. Sent repairman out. Checked a couple of things. The part we MUST replace, motherboard, will cost $600+. And not sure when they could get part in. They had to have $300 deposit. Refrigerator started working later in day. Called and ask not not charge our credit card part not needed. They charged our card anyway, called for 2 weeks to have our card credited, finally went to their shop to speak with them. Finally on second trip to see them they issued our credit. Took 2 months. read more

if I could rate them at "0" I would. Mike from Appliance Corral showed up to repair my LG washer on 1/11/22. He diagnosed it as LE Code.. bad Motor Stator Assembly. He said he would have to order it. I paid him 250 dollar deposit. He returned the next day and told me he found a Motor Stator Assembly on the shelf at the shop. He installed it and ran it a while and it coded LE. He deleted the code and said it would work now. He left with my check for 186.95 on 1/12/22. I started it after he left and you guessed it LE coded again. I called his cell and he said to unplug the machine for awhile then retry. I called again and he said he could't come until the following Monday. No show. I called to find out when he would return and they said he had to go to Seattle on emergency. They said he would return February 7th and would call on me the 8th. He showed up the 8th and then diagnosed it as a bad bearing (600.00) dollars. I said I don't want that done, the washer is only 700.00 dollars. Mike left and said he would start a refund. I called Appliance Corral on February 17th to find out about the refund only to connect with a very rude and condescending individual. Needless to say I think I will have to go to Small Claims Court! We had Mike come out and repair our washing machine for us. He was very knowledgeable and honest, and got the job done for us in a timely fashion. He communicated well and kept us updated on the order status of the part our washer needed etc. He was very kind and friendly as well. read more

I am extremely unhappy with Appliance Corral. After three weeks, promises, and 350.00 dollars later, my washing machine is still not fixed. Whatever you do, please do not use Mike. Waiting for my refund, since Mike, could not fix my machine and said I would receive a refund. OMG, I have never seen such incompetence. This is a horrible company -- either incompetent or flat-out crooks. Our clothes dryer stopped working, and we called them before looking at Yelp. They have a 4.3 (of 5) rating on Google -- I think they've been writing the reviews themselves. (I now know they have an F at the Better Business Bureau due to unresolved complaints.) Mike came out Monday, checked the dryer, said the start switch was bad, wrote up a repair order for $222, and collected a $110 deposit. When he returned Tuesday with the switch, it didn't solve the problem. He couldn't figure out anything else, so offered to come back again with a USED DRYER in exchange for the amount remaining on the repair order. We said no, thank you, if we ever buy a used dryer we'll pick it out ourselves. Told him to go away and we'd call it even. (The service call fee was most of the $110, and we just wanted him out of here.) We called a reputable nation-wide repair service after he left. They came out the next morning, correctly diagnosed the problem (a bad timer), told us where to buy the needed part, and showed us how to install it. Problem solved! The dryer is working now, for the cost of another service call and the needed part. read more

My washer was repaired in May 2020 by a pleasant service repair man named Mike. The cost to repair was just over $500. The part was under a one year warranty, and appliance corral would come out and fix it on their dime within that timeframe. My washer broke down again not 7 months later. Same repairman came to assess the damage, and confirmed that it was the same part. He asked me personal questions, like, "how many people live here?", implying that my washer broke because I use it too much. Then he told me that even though the part was under warranty, the business was taking a loss having to come out and fix it without charging me. Those two things he said bothered me, and made me think that this wasn't going to be so cut and dry. Sure enough, it's been just under 7 weeks and my washer is still not fixed. I have been told that it may not be covered under warranty because it hasn't been determined if the washer was used as intended, and they were still waiting on an answer as to if the part would be covered... uh, what? What else do you use a washing machine for, other than to wash your clothing? Then finally, on December 29th, I receive a message from Mike that the part has been ordered and they are waiting for it to come in. Then no more response. I called today, Jan. 15, 2021, and left a message. If I get jerked around one more time by them it may just end up in small claims court. This hasn't only been an inconvenience for me and my family, but I have lost any trust I had initially in this business, and I would never recommend them to anyone, or use them again. I am also disappointed in myself for not looking up their former reviews prior to calling. This was telling... So sad for a business that could really be outstanding if they so choose. The Worst Experience Ever!!! Mike S could not fix either of my washer/dryer combo units after several visits ! I paid half down after his first visit and the remainder when he returned a week later. Neither unit dried my clothes - so neither unit was repaired after $540.00! After many unanswered calls, finally they scheduled another visit for Mike S. He came out and couldn't figure out why they didn't dry my clothes. He reset a part and looked at the other unit and offered a refund and to call his personal number on his business card if they didn't work now. Neither unit dried my clothes after this visit! I called Mike S and he said he would do free repair when I needed it in the future! Haha! Why would I use him again when I'm out $540. for my same unusable washer dryers. I began shopping for new units and came upon a utube video showing me how to repair them myself. Both worked great immediately and continue to work well! I call regularly and get no answer and no manager calls me back after receptionist says she gives Jim and Nicki my requests for a phone call. No response from owners. Finally I wrote a letter and a couple weeks later Nicki (manager? Owner?)called back and was snotty and totally uncooperative and rude and also did not call back in 2 days as promised.
