The tech could not solve the problem. He said he could not find anything that said there was a separate control board for the ice and water dispenser. He spent a lot of time trying to find the problem. He checked the main control board and it looked OK. We both finally gave up. Many complaints, on the internet, about this model LG refer. Compressors going out and with the ice/water dispenser. This repair service replaced the compressor with a better one and it has continued to perform where the LG recommended units still have problems. He probably save me several hundreds of dollars about 3 yeas ago. He has offered to refund the service call as they could not fix the problem. Will continue to recommend and use IV Appliance Clinic. read more

Did a Yelp request. Ivan responded almost immediately. Was here the following day. Discovered the problem. Came back the following day with the part and replaced it. So far so good after a few weeks. $410 for a new drain pump but it is a $1200 washer. 4 stars because of the cost, otherwise 5 stars for the response time. read more

Ivan is extremely responsive and when he says something will happen, it will happen. I had an issue with an old washer machine that needed a drain pump and Ivan and his team put in the effort to fix it. It wasn't exactly a quick fix. Unfortunately, with these older machines, when something is fixed we end up getting more problems, but appliance clinic did their best and Ivan saved the day in the end. Please give these guys a chance, because they deserve it. read more

My dryer stopped heating up, which is not awesome when you have 3 kids and were already behind on laundry to begin with. I called Ivan and he came out SAME DAY to look it over. He needed to order the part and said he would come the next to fix it. The next day was 4th of July but he didn't mind! Unfortunately, through no fault of his, the part didn't come in until the 6th, but he came as soon as he had it and I have a working dryer again! He replaced the heating element and cleaned it all out for me so it's working great. Very nice technician responded after we had sitting water in our washing machine after every load. Said it was a "drain pump" and charged us $430 but the water is still sitting in the bottom of the washer after it runs a cycle. Guessing the problem had nothing to do with the drain pump.
