I appreciated that because I needed to plan in our budget how much to pay him. I mean, if I was rich I would just go get a new appliance! #GoldFridge He gets five stars for his superior communication! I gave him a call on the weekend about my busted refrigerator and he was able to return my call promptly and schedule a fast repair. He was on time and affordable. We would hire him again in the future. Thanks to him I didn't have to watch YouTube videos for 8 hours in order to maybe teach myself maybe how to fix the fridge. Thanks Troy! #Notbroken

I hired this company to fix an ice maker on an LG refrigerator. They were quick to accept the job…read moreand schedule the service call. I was told the issue was likely ice buildup, though I informed the man that I had already thawed the fridge to eliminate that possibility per the recommendation of LG. He said to try it again and that the service fee paid that day ($140) would be honored to come back out if thawing did not fix the issue. It did not fix the issue. I contacted him multiple times over the next three weeks and despite consistently stating that he would schedule to come back and fix the issue, he never did. He made many personal excuses for why he couldn't make it (despite never being asked for a reason) and ultimately never followed through with coming back to address the service call that he had already been paid for. I am unsure if this company has multiple service employees, but Adam was dishonest and did not do the job he was hired and paid to do. I do not recommend Avery Appliance Repair.

I called the usual place we have taken appliances (Jeffrey's) and they said it would take 3 to 5 business days to even look at it. So I called around and found RK Appliance. I'm sorry I didn't get the owner's name but he asked me some questions, like the model and what wasn't working and mentioned several possible things that could be wrong. He said he could look at it right away. We brought it in (a little tight getting our pickup in the back alley where he unloaded but doable). We left to do other chores and about an hour later he called and said the dryer was fixed and we could pick it up! I was thrilled and so grateful. This is excellent service!

TOTAL SCAM!! User beware! Not only did they refund my deposit amount but they also asked me to…read moreremove my 1-star Yelp review and asked that I ask my bank not to continue their investigation (which I disputed for fraud). Sound like a legit company? Yelp, I hope you read this as this company asked that I degrade the efficacy of your site by taking down a bad review. This company thought that by giving me back my deposit I would hide their fraud. In the end, they actually damaged my fridge instead of repairing it. I called Rain City Appliance Repair in Spokane because they were able to respond same day. The person that answers is a guy named "Winston" with a British accent and the phone sounds like he is overseas. He booked a technician that came out that afternoon and the tech spoke almost no English. He tested the temp of the fridge and diagnosed a broken defrost element without opening the inside panel of the fridge, which is where that pice is located and where he ended up working. I had to pay $200 for the call out and the remaining balance would be invoiced upon completion. He came back a couple days later to finish the job once the part arrived, or so he said. Within an hour of the tech leaving my home, I got a call from "Winston"who proceeded to call twice a day every day for payment. I was working so I wasn't able to pick up the phone. I have had many home services without having to pay an invoice within a day. He called twice a day until finally a couple days later I said I was having a Sears technician come out that week to look at the job they did because I had concerns. On top of the other issues, the company has an address listed in downtown Spokane but when I went to the address I found it is virtual rented office space. The company also has an affiliate company named Hot Wire, supposedly in Bothel, but it has the same email and phone number so it's the same people. SEVEN DAYS after the service I received a text saying that I needed to pay the invoice or they would send me to collections. Completely unethical and illegal. The Sears tech came out and told me he had heard many complaints about this company and the issue with my fridge was part of a lawsuit with Samsung where they will provide the part for free. No charge for anything. He also said that because the guy took off the inside panel, he likely broke the seal and if there wasn't a problem before, there now would be and the panel would need to be replaced. A woman from Rain City, who I think is also part of Hot Wire called me back the day after and I told her I would not be paying the balance and want a refund on the $200 deposit. She didn't seem phased, said she was sorry I felt that way and that she would discuss with management. Which is the same thing Winston said when I told him they couldn't take me to collections after 7 days. The affiliate company also has many 1-star reviews saying that they were ghosted after making payment or that they broke their fridge. I got stuck with Bill the Appliance Guy through my home warranty company…read more I am very disappointed with the dishwasher installation service I received from this company. During the installation, the technician, Bill, asked me to turn off the hot water at the water heater because, according to him, he could not shut off the water at the valve under the sink. What was not explained to me was that the valve had apparently broken while he was attempting to shut it off. Additionally, the new power cord for the new dishwasher was also not used. I expect an installation technician to clearly communicate any problems, damage, or special instructions involving a new appliance. Unfortunately, that did not happen in my case. The lack of communication left me with additional unnecessary costs. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.

The temperatures and panel lights were working before he took the dryer apart and put it back together. We paid 364.00 for a new blower, pulley and belt in the dryer. Having no success with Allway, we called Avery Appliance, Adam (which we had used previously; he wasn't available when our dryer started making a horrible noise. That is why we sought another dryer repair company.). Finally, Adam was available, he came and did a diagnostic and noted that the belt was new, but the blower was used with rust on it and the pulley was the original one. Additionally, Allway Technician left out screws when putting things back together. Our invoice did not itemize anything. I called Allway again and the tech called me back to harass me about calling his boss. For a single woman living alone this is not an ideal situation to be in. They've promised a refund.
