I was called about 5 minutes before the window started to see if I was still available. The technician arrived exactly on time, right at the start of the window! After a short explanation of my needs he just said "OK, let's take a look at the space and talk about it." He explained every step of what they'd do to install a tankless water heater, he looked at the whole area to check for pipes, electrical access, spacing inside and out for a condensation line - making feel very comfortable that it would be planned before the installation to avoid last minute issues. A big plus, he told me he'd be part of the installation team. He also told me I should go ahead and get another few quotes. I think these guys are confident they're giving the prices in the sweet spot of costs. Then we spent time just talking about landscaping and plants! I'm not in a hurry to start this project, it's on my list of improvements and I'm just starting to investigate. However, I'm extremely impressed with the service given at this stage, the thorough approach in explaining, and the honestly. I will get another quote, but the next one has a high bar to cross; not only the service, but Water Heaters Masters quote was WELL below the only other quote I had gotten so far. Given the complexity of this job, I wanted to make sure it was done right. Communication was excellent. Mauro was able to come by for an estimate within a few days, and from there, his office crew helped me plan and schedule the work. Additionally, they handled the permit and inspection coordination. They were able to schedule the work within two weeks, which was fine given that this wasn't an emergency. For this gas to heat pump conversion, it was necessary to vent both the intake and exhaust. This presents a number of challenges like making vent holes, running ducts, and making sure everything is air tight. Jose and his team were absolutely awesome. They take pride in their work. The team is friendly and patient, and takes the time to break down what they're doing and why, as well as any hiccups and adjustments that have to be made. I cannot tell you how great it is to have a professional you can trust, who also respects you and your property. This was a complex job and they made it look great, fit the space, and work as needed. A plumber isn't something you hope you need very often, but should anything come up, I'll definitely be calling Mauro's Plumbing again.

Do not let them do the $79.00 "inspection"! They found an actual problem (small drip from very old…read moregalvanized water pipe). We got bids on a "pex" replacement and when we told them theirs was too high the bid was magically lowered. We were the fools who took the lowest bid. What we thought was a "repiping" of our house turned out to be a "partial repiping." So the drip was fixed but a lot of old galvanized piping remains. And here's the bad news: the new pex piping was inadequately attached to the floor joists under the house and the installer removed many sections of furnace ducting to work down there and run the new piping. So we found that one of our heater registers had no heat/no attachment to the furnace duct! Hot air blowing into the crawl space.... So we have paid someone to reattach the piping and the ducts. And when the "new piping" was done I subscribed to the annual maintenance agreement. This is a total scam! No work is done under this agreement. It is only an opportunity for Albert Nahman "technicians" to try to up sell various filters and improvement systems. And the "inspector" missed the heating duct problem.... Avoid the big yellow truck! Do not let these guys into your house!
