My wife and I often eat here and most of the time it is a good place to go. Tonight was an exception. Some of our military personal were there with there ladies and almost every sentence had the F word in it. When we moved to a different location she reminded one of these so called gentlemen that this is a family restaurant and that other people could hear them including children. One person apologized the loudest one got even louder. We complained to the bartender who did nothing about it. I am sure we will go back just not sure when. read more

We stopped by this Location to try it out. We were a party of 11. We were seated almost immediately , the lady who took our order was nice and attentive. Service over all was great. the 3 stars goes for the food. a few of us ordered the chicken parmesan and that chicken was as hard as a rock each and everyone. Some ordered the fettucine with broccoli , the broccoli tasted dirty like it was not washed. We did want to let the server know. but we are scared about returning food. Maybe if they can tell the cook to not over cook the chicken and wash veggies well. The other food was okay, Burgers, Baby back BBQ ribs, buffalo wings. read more

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. I ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Pasta, and the chicken was burnt, the noodles were undercooked (which I honestly don't understand how that even happens), and there was barely any sauce. It was dry and not enjoyable at all. I also ordered the Ultimate Trio, and it came out with the wrong side dishes. On top of that, we got the Spinach & Artichoke Dip as an appetizer, and it was so runny it was basically soup. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Multiple items were prepared incorrectly, and it felt like no one checked the food before it left the kitchen. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

Great customer service with amazing food. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the better experiences I've had at Applebee's and I'll gladly be coming back again. read more

I usually enjoy trying new places, but my recent visit to this Applebee's was pretty disappointing. The only thing that was actually good were the appetizers, those came out fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill from there. The food took a very long time to come out, and when it finally did, it was cold. On top of that, our waitress was really slow and kept forgetting the simple things we politely asked for. It just made the whole experience frustrating instead of enjoyable. When we told our waitress about our food she told us she will bring us the manager. She came by we explained to her about our food and she gave us a small refund... However, the tone completely changed once we decided not to leave a tip. The waitress suddenly had a nasty attitude and sarcastically said, "Thank you for the tip." That comment felt really unprofessional and unnecessary, especially after everything that had already gone wrong. ( waitress has blonde hair and tattoos all around her neck and arms.) Also another thing there bread was hard as a rock. read more

Server was good and the place was clean. My only problem is we did the all you can eat for $15.99 and the first plate that came out was completely different then the 2nd plate. The first one had 8 boneless wings and fries. The 2nd had 4 wings and fries. Took 30 minutes every time you asked for more(all you can eat). It's not all you can eat. They minimize how much you can eat. It's a total scam. read more

went abt two weeks ago then again yesterday service was just not there. server both times was a man whose name tag said been here 13 years, sat for abt 40 minutes for three plain burgers and a fiesta chicken which was grilled chicken and cheese and Mexican rice. Took forger for anything the first time same thing mind you that happened during a flood so I kind of get it but the second time no this is just normal I guess. wouldn't recommend just get fast food over that. All in total 2 hours for three plain burgers and salad. read more

Not to say Applebee's is the best in town but I will say they never go wrong with my chicken tenders and fries but that is not the point of my review today I only want to write my review based off of my name Kaitlyn (pray to God that's how you spell it) brief description that absolutely beautiful woman with glasses all natural beauty looking like a gorgeous little fairy running around this Applebee's as if it's her own cottage moving forward honestly when it comes down visiting Applebee's it's not about the taste of the food as much as it's about the staff every time I go in I have the same one to two waitresses but she is absolutely new to me I had gastric bypass surgery and I typically have to show my card showing that I'm allowed to eat off the kids menu I expressed this to her and I proceeded to start to take my card out as she said no it's totally fine I believe you excuse me what you are not judging me and you are not passing judgment right away thinking I'm trying to get a cheap meal holy crap humanity has been restored so not only is she absolutely beautiful but she is so kind and so sweet my husband and I and our daughter enjoyed her company while enjoying our meal thank you for elevating our service if I had to knock anything on it my husband said his prime rib dip was definitely microwaved a little too long but other than that my chicken tenders were phenomenal my waitress was to die for and my mozzarella sticks were piping hot read more

Came here to eat around 5pm. Sat right before a rush of about 15 tables. We ordered our food before the rush & watched many tables eat while we still waited. The manager blamed it on the rush. I've worked in this industry for 10 years, I know exactly what happened because I'm a honest person & I've done it before. Our waiter had forgotten to put in the ticket for food. The manager should have agreed with me instead of using false excuses. Then this terrible waitress came by dropping our food off with a terrible smirk & saying sarcastically enjoy your food. Hoping I got the right name Sandra or Cassandra. Mexican lady with a terrible up-do & drawn on eyebrows. The food presented looked thrown together. The dip was supposed to come out first & looked like it sat there for 30mins under a hot light because our waitress forgot to put in the rest. Our assigned waitress was a kind girl. Mistakes happen but the manager & other waitress who approached us, is what this review is really about. I suggest the manager takes better judgment off this review & learns how to approach people better along with your said employees. Can't teach class to that eyebrow waitress though. Not sure how she is aloud to present herself like that with hair that doesn't look brushed. We then traveled all the way to cathedral city just to get Applebees 40mins away. I love Applebees but I will never return to this one! read more

0 stars if I could. Should have left after they brought old dry noodles for my kids chicken alfredo KIDS MEAL. Ordered the 2 for 32 which was a chicken alfredo and a 6 oz top sirloin. The chicken alfredo breadstick was solid as a rock and inedible. The size of the steak was a JOKE. I believe it was more of a 4 oz than a 6 oz. Brought me a plate more than half full of broccoli with the steak that was not cooked how I asked it to be. My mashed potatoes came 5 mins after I got the steak and broccoli. Definitely will not be returning ever and I emailed corporate so I hope I'm able to get some of my money back. Should have spoken to manager but I was livid and just wanted to leave. The gal at the front was super nice, the waiter was also very nice and really. Place is so so as for cleanliness. Now we had spinach dip with chips A+ I think the salsa and dip are great. Chips are not old and dip was hot. Next was kids quesadilla with fries, burger ( pink) with fries and chicken Alfredo with broccoli. The fries are as old as time and the burger Pattie was from the same time. I had asked for new fries for the kids meal as well and the burger, the waiter was nice and replaced them. The staff were nice and the food was okay. I JUST did a to go order minutes ago for an impossible burger and fries. It took me less than two minutes to eat my food and i'm still hungry. The burger was slightly too big to be considered a slider and the fries were equivalent to a small fries from a fast food place. The cost: $20 plus I gave a $4 tip b/c the staff was nice. I know companies are struggling and inflation is a thing but this is egregious. You might as well have slapped me in the face at the cash register. That was my first and last impression. Potatoes don't cost very much. How much to you have to skim on orders to remain profitable? There is no excuse for how few fries I got in my order. Ridiculous. Don't go here. What can I say, wish I could give no stars! We arrived about lunch time, it was full, but not crowded. We walked in, and a blond heavyset young girl stood at the register. She got menus and immediately told us, she wasn't sitting anyone in the dinning room anymore...? Ummmm, ok? She said we could either sit in the bar area, or out in the patio. We glanced in the bar area, a loud game was playing on the tv, and even louder, drunk guys were watching the game. We went to the patio, and as soon as we opened the door, noticed everyone there had dogs. There were at least 6 dogs out there, and some started barking at us. I'm allergic to dogs. We went back to the girl and told her we couldn't sit out there with the dogs, as I was allergic. She made no effort to sit us inside or anything. She just looked at us with a blank stare. We gave her back the menus and said we will go somewhere else. Went to I-Hop down the street instead. First time at Applebee's... And never again. Reading the reviews, I'm glad we left. read more

We went to Applebees in yucca valley, CA. We ordered the 2 for $27 lunch, it came with an appetizer and two entrees. My wife had the hamburger, and I had the chicken strips, and the artichoke dip. Her hamburger was burnt on both sides, my chicken strips, were over cooked and dry. My wife sent back her hamburger and asked for our check. The check was for over$35, I asked why it was ,ire than the 2 for $27. They said that since we sent back the hamburger we had to pay for each item separately. I asked why they just could not deduct a portion of the bill. They said that's just the way it is. We paired the bill and left. I call corporate and they said that is just the way it is. Last Friday night my friends and I made a tactical error or the best decision of our lives. We ate a handful of m*gical mushrooms and experienced the entire spectrum of human emotion inside the Yucca Valley Applebee's. First let me describe the ambience. This Applebee's is seriously dark sided. The walls are plastered with children. Yes, children. Some disturbed human being decided it was a good idea to create a photo collage of the local high school class of 2014 and plaster it on the walls. Life size children stare at you from every wall, faces permanently frozen in what I can only imagine to be anguish, while you try to eat your 2 for $25 chicken tenders. The carpet is a graveyard of croutons and sadness. The bathrooms are void of joy and toilet seat covers. Four television screens all play the same channel--a synchronized dance of terror. The children seem to know what you're walking into as you pass them on the walls. "Go back while you still can," they plead with their eyes. But we didn't listen. Now to the food. Filled with neon drinks and chicken wings seasoned in pulverized Cheetos, the Applebee's menu is less of a menu than it is a pamphlet on the dangers of late stage capitalism. In order to feed your family an affordable meal, it can't actually be with real food but a distant relative of it. The burger tastes like suffering. The broccoli comes out soft and seasoned in what tastes like human tears. The chicken tenders are hard and vaguely threatening. And the cocktails are an afront to god's green earth and taste like Fabuloso cleaning solution but are only $6! Now if you're reading this and wondering...if the Yucca Valley Applebee's ambience and food are truly that bad, then WHY the hell are you giving it a 5 star review...let me explain. The reason I am giving this absolutely cursed Applebee's a 5 star review is because of the staff. The hostess stands like a Charon at the gates of this Applebee's, ready to safely ferry lost souls to the underworld. The kitchen staff are given the absolute bare minimum to work with and still make a perfectly cooked steak and could probably all successfully storm Normandy. Our server very well may be an ancient tree spirit. She is perfect. She even wears little gemstones on her face bellow her eyes ever so gently reminding you there is still beauty in this world. The Yucca Valley Applebee's staff all deserve a 50% tip and a handshake from Bill & TJ Palmer themselves. All this to say, you absolutely should visit the Yucca Valley Applebee's. You will come out a stronger, more deeply formed human being with a greater appreciation for the natural beauty and splendor of our universe. Godspeed. read more

Came here tonight at 10pm, at first getting seated was a little slow. We were helped by a really nice waitress Cecilia. I honestly didn't have crazy high expectations for the food quality, and had started to slightly regret my decision to stop at Applebee's with my assumption that the food was going to be meh. I feel like chain restaurants are going downhill, and with it being so empty on a Friday night I wasn't sure what to expect as far as quality. The food came out quite fast, and was amazing. Everything was great, food was fresh and our server was really kind. I'd definitely come back to this Applebee's if I was in the area again. read more

The shorter manager with dark hair in a red vest came over and wanted to know told us we could use this cerfiticate and he was going pull him in the back and write him up, REALLY, not manager material. Applebees, run from this guy. After I was put in my place the food arrived cold with a tude. I must give a shout out to HARVE if not correct spelling I apologize. The waiter at the bar. Also Kayley and Sherri the manager. I enjoy their service. Last Saturday, my husband and I went in and we made an error on what we ordered. However, they corrected it. Took the wrong order we ordered and brought out what we wanted and charged us for the error, even though we never ate it. I would of preferred to be told I would be charged for the error. But they took the food back and charged us for it even though we didn't eat it. When we got home my hubby called and was told they would look into on the 20 we were charged for the food by Adam. Here it is a week ago and it's not credited . No one reached out to us either. Well, I guess we won't be back. read more

We were in town, a day trip, last days of summer, before the youngest goes back to school! just 2 more yrs then hes done! Thank God! We did not want fast food, so we saw the Applebees have not been there in a hot minute, so stopped to get an early din din before headed back to Riverside, Eastvale area, were not seated right away, it was not as busy, mid afternoon, was clean, somewhat, it took them 15 minutes before someone came and took our drinks, was parched, and finally got a waitress to take our order, (Shout out to SAM our waitress is AWESOME your AMAZING, after the hiccup on husbands order much truly appreciate that you attended to us right away) I ordered a burger combo, and so did our son, they were good, I ordered onion rings instead of fries, only got 5 small onion rings, that SUCKED the amount, the appetizer you get about 8 to 10 oinon rings had I known that we would have gotten onion rings appetizer. My husband ordered chicken, hot sausage pasta the cook did not drain the grease out of the dish, so he had to send it back again, 2nd time and was done right. Sam was awesome, the other workers were not bein attentive as much. The only good thing that came out of this was our service, if would not been for Sam the meal would have really really SUCKED!! The bill came to with the discount due to the meal, was 34.00. Without discount and hiccup on meal would have been like 55 or so plus tip. Overall, 1 out 10 give Applebees, a 7 out of 10. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Joshua Tree. Came to this place for lunch and dinner with my boyfriend. After going to a place where we had a bad experience and another place that will take over one hour for food to be served, we decided to come here for the second time in the same day. We got 2 for $35 both times because it's such a good deal. Included in our order was an appetizer and 2 entrees. We were seated right away both times. The food came at reasonable amount of times. There was also wifi. For lunch, they seated us at a small table even though there were plenty of open seating. Starting off, I'm super happy to see this restaurant fully open! Let's get into it! We had Rosa as our server and she made it very apparent that she was not having a good day and probably should've stayed home. Let's talk about the food though! We ordered the chips and queso which were delicious! It had the perfect amount of peppers and scallions. For my entree I ordered the grilled chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The chicken has such a nice flavor and the mash was oh-so creamy. I really enjoyed it! My husband had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. He said it was excellent and cooked exactly the way he wanted and the fries were super hot and fresh. This was kind of a very disappointing find. To start off, we were originally going there to get soup considering it was 8pm at night and all the restaurants on the streets were either fast food places or pharmacies, it became hard to find a dine-in area with some real solid food. So we decided on applebees -- grabbing to go. We ordered outside and they had us wait in the car and stated that they would bring the food over when it's ready. It was done in a timely manner. On the way back I realized none of the Applebee food containers was able to be sealed properly. This caused a lot of leakages in the bag -- which I panicked considering I ordered soup holding the food in the passenger seat. Then -- as we arrive back I quickly laid the food down and tried to take a look -- everything we ordered was there BESIDES the soup! the only reason we went to this applebee in the first place was FOR the SOUP! I was extremely upset by this, and the fact that the mac and cheese was super watery, seemed like it was just mac and cheese drizzled with honey BBQ sauce smothered on top? the center was dead sweet and the sides were bland, and the whole mac and cheese was extremely watery? Which is kind of disgusting. (Side note: The flavored lemonade is probably the greatest one can ever get -- high recommend pomongrante if you must go there to dine) But as we began to try the other food, it was also weird tasting and all way too salty. Needless to say -- we ended up tossing our $82 worth of food... it was kind of un-eadible. We had to run out again to a tacobell later that night because we were hungry as heck, would show photo...but I don't think those were worth photos. read more
