In all honesty this is my favorite place to come get the wanton tocos but i decided to change it up and get a chicken tortilla soup that came out look warm not hot warm that was very disappointing. Our apps came out got the spinach drip, dip was cold chips were way over salted idk about yall but I don't need that much salt in my body, got the manger's attention got new chips really appreciate him didn't get his name but he was wearing a red shirt that day. Everything on top of the food our waiter absolutely freaking creepy never want him as a waiter ever again! I just sat down and your already coming up to us to ask for our drink order like I dude chill let me look at the menu, stares at us while we were eating, short talker lots of mhm and okay. I'm a server I have done this since I was 16 years old, your supposed to have happy smile, good communication and talk with a happy face not sit there and be a creepy ass dude with no smile. I will definitely be getting a new one any other time I come. On top of that before we left we needed change on our bills my friend's check was $24.65 she gave him a $40 and came back gave her $4.35 and the change was supposed to be 15.35, so once again I got the manager's attention and he went and fixed it and came back and said that our waiter said that to him he said "his exact words oh shit she gave me a 40 didn't she?" My friend wanted a simple grilled cheese sandwich and was told it was not available. Ok, not a menu item, no problem. We placed our order, I requested some BBQ bone-in wings to go. The check was paid, with a 20% tip. I got home from Lebanon, NH, to Springfield, opened my take out, only to find my order was wrong. Instead of "bone-in wings" I had chicken nuggets. If I had wanted nuggets, I would have ordered them, but I clearly stated that I wanted "bone-in wings." The restaurant was not seeing a busy period, it was very quiet, so it is not like staff was rushed or couldn't hear over loud talking. I ordered the half rack of ribs to have at the restaurant. They are supposed to come with fries and Cole slaw, no Cole slaw. Overall it was a very dissatisfying meal out. I called to speak with a manager about the problem with my order, and the only reply I received is that she would speak to the staff. No effort was made to set it right. Today's my 38th birthday. I wanted kotos but my kids wanted Applebees. Enough said lol. We came and. The server was okay. Pretty quiet but that's expected. We ordered the triple appetizer and all of our entrees. The appetizers were wonderful and came out nice and hot and fresh. After we were done there was about a 15 min wait and then our food came. We didn't babe much time with my youngest being special needs and needing to get home (45 mins away) so we couldn't say anything.. but the food was cold. All of em. Plates werent even hot. We're normally really good tippers but 5$ it was. Just frustrating when you spend over 100$ to eat dinner. With how expensive the world is rn- it would just be nice to get a hot meal. Idk. read more

Evening starts with my mom ordering a 8oz steak and they only brought her a 6oz (my mom isn't one to make a big deal so she took a picture to show the waitress the size but ate the steak instead of waiting a while for the waitress to come back to us. meanwhile my baby starts fussing right after we ordered dessert "Cinnabons with icing" 20 minutes later she brings the Cinnabons with no icing...I say "can we have the icing" she says "oh I was just told we ran out"..."oh okay well maybe someone should have said something before we ordered them what's a Cinnabon without icing?" Baby is really fussing so I go outside with him while my mom waits for a box for the dessert.... she gets to my vehicle and says "I don't feel good" we left the restaurant at 8pm by 8:10 she was throwing up (4 cars saw her) by 9:15 she's still throwing up...I go in talk to the manager (meanwhile my baby is CRYING in the back seat while my mother is throwing up outside in the COLD). I tell the manager I need water as my mom is throwing up and it looked like someone else before her did in the parking lot as there was another pile of throw up (not from her) he says "I'll get you some water" comes back with water and says "we don't have any medicine....what did your mom have" I said "steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli" he says "no one else has come in saying anything about throwing up" I couldn't leave the f***ing parking lot for over an hour because she couldn't stop throwing up (my baby screaming now) we finally were able to leave and she made me stop on the highway so she can proceed to throw up. she threw up a total (as of right now 9:50pm) 11 times. moral of the story don't order the steak and don't order Cinnabons with icing because they don't have icing. also don't tell the manager because he doesn't do jack sh** to help...wait ice cold water worst Apple bees I've ever been too. read more

The host met us at the door at soon as walking in and our server arrived at the table almost immediately. He was very nice throughout our meal. We ordered for 2 adults and a child. when I ordered my food the waiter was polite and thought I was going to have a good dinner, I was wrong, we went out for a birthday dinner for a family member and this is what happened, we got the chicken won ton tacos, but when they arrived... there were all over the plate and barely any food left in the shell, the waiter also didn't bring us any plates so we were all eating over one plate...., when my food arrived It looked fine and I was excited to eat, I started to eat the outer side of the pasta just to find out they were stiff and cold, and to top it off I found a 3 inch hair in my pasta, really dissappointed in apple bees. She was condescending, smug, snarky in her attitude and successfully drove us out of the place. if I were the owner, I'd be mortified by the lack of courtesy and customer service this person showed. We've been here twice now. The first time we came, the bartender ignored us for 15 minutes before even greeting us. Then our food took forever and tasted terrible. Not sure why, but we decided to come back today. Again, took the bartender 10 minutes to acknowledge us (please note that both times the restaurant was basically dead and these are two different bartenders) I ordered my food at the same time as my friend and mine showed up 15 mins before hers did and we ordered basically the same thing. While we waited for our food, the bartender was no where to be found and the managers were just standing and chatting at the host stand. No manager ever checked in with us about our food and we only saw the bartender three times: once to order drinks, second time to get drinks and order food, third time to get boxes and a check. Our experiences here have just sucked and management needs to do better. read more

This place needs to remain shut until after covid. What a disaster they have here. My family couldn't sit together in a large booth, not cause there were too many people but because the employees were incabable of shifting around a few table signs. All while the Manager sits in a booth (right next to us breaking their own 6' rule playing games on his cell phone.) We order appetizers.... Took an hour. Then we still didn't have silverware. Finally 90 minutes into it and we get our main courses... Some portions cold, steak was over cooked. Oh and the manager still ging on his phone finally gets up and says the appetizers are on him. Was told a 15-20 minute wait, ended up waiting an hour and were never sat the host had just wondered off and had not come back.

Our waitress was soooooooo nice and good!! She was very slay. She served so hard, literally and figuratively. I forget her name but I hope she has the best day ever. I only rate 4 stars because it's Applebees and I feel a little sick now but food was yummy and good. Mozzarella sticks hit extra hard as leftovers later on when I was drunk. I usually don't review chain restaurants, but my experience at this Applebee's was negative from the moment I walked in. A group of 7 walked in just before me, so I stood off to the side so as to not be confused with that group. Just as the hostess came back to the hostess stand another couple walked in and she greeted them and sat them immediately. Yes, maybe that was my fault...? But then I stood there...and stood there....she never came back! In the meantime another couple walked in, but it was obvious that I was already there. I finally asked a server that walked by if anybody was going to seat me, and he huffily told me that the hostess would help me. The hostess finally arrived back and sat the table of 7 who were all sitting in the waiting area. She never acknowledged me or the other couple. The grumpy waiter walked by again, and audibly sighed, as if to say 'Why are you still here?' (That was my impression.) The hostess never did come back after that... It had been at least five minutes, or maybe more, by now. (The restaurant was far from full, and there were MANY servers.) I had never felt quite this ignored! Finally another woman showed up and sat me. No "I'm sorry about the wait" or even "Welcome to Applebee's!" The couple that was also waiting was seated kitty-corner to us 30 seconds later. It was several minutes before my server showed up, and of course after she took drink orders from the couple that had been seated just after us. Normally I would not care about something so trivial, but by this point I was pretty annoyed. She finally showed up, and kept calling me hun. No comment necessary from me here! "Hun" this and "Hun" that, but in a tone of voice that was calling me something other than hun... I ordered my standard drink order: iced tea with extra lemon. It arrived with the TINIEST lemon slice known to man!! My meal was adequate. The one refill that she did bring included lots of lemons, at my specific request, and after she said "Sure, hun." (Note that I'm not using an exclamation point, as she said it deadpan.) The rest of the meal was fine...my steak was cooked properly and was flavorful. The fire-grilled veggies maybe needed an extra moment over the flame. But the rest of our experience was so negative that it could have been amazing food and I wouldn't remember it. This establishment has gone down hill. We arrived 3:00 pm were seated promptly within 10 minutes that is where the problem started. Apparently there is a shorage of servers on Sunday. The hostess took our drink order, then she said that the server would be over soon. Ha! the hostess,came back in 15 minutes after bringing the drinks, took our order then we sat there for 30 or more minutes waiting, waiting. There were no utensils on the table, my husband had to take some from the bar. I had ordered a cesars salad which should have arrived shortly after the drinks came out.. nope I had to ask for it. I asked some random server where it was, she acted suprised,oh you want it now?? Then the meals came out, my husband s was tepid, my baked potato was barely warm, the fish was not hot either. We ate the meal, which was not warm and left.. not happy!! read more

We standed there for 20 minutes, servers glared at us and no one even greeted us to tell us they were on a wait. We would have waited we didn't care. But no one came and greeted us so we sat down. A manager came and told us it was a closed section, my fiancé was like "okay can you put us on the wait?" And then after kyle ( my fiancé) saying okay and getting his stuff to leave Mike the manager goes "and with that attitude you can just leave." OUT OF NO WHERE. Well this is not a bad review but could be a lot better. Great food as always and trust me, dinner 3 times a week in home town plus lunch twice a week. I Looooooove Applebees. I hold meetings and all at my Bees. Cons: No drink special as most Bees as in: 2/1 drinks: well, beer, or even Hard drinks. I'm not mad but this is not a tourist town. I thought for a second: maybe; regulations have a say in the alcohol dispensing, maybe THE OWNERS....cool, move on. Pros: Well now this is the cake. Clean, slightly busy at times as everyone else. Staff works their butts off to provide for customers and they (customers some) are ridiculously pain in the butts sometimes and very unappreciative that someone is trying to provide a good service....Move on Can't change people. Applebee's, I thank you for helping the community; especially during this COVID-19 situation. Great curb side service because Ive seen first hand for a week straight that the Bar Tender does bar, the circle, and curb-side and still gets nit done. I tip 20+ % because of this. tabetha, our server this evening, did a horrible job. she didn't greet us, started the night by complaining to our faces, and was considerably rude throughout the night. she didn't put in our appetizers until our food was already out and forgot almost all of our sides. when she inevitably didn't get a good tip, she decided it was a great idea to say "i hope you girls never become waiters" in regard to her tip. just wanted to warn everyone about just how sh*tty the service was. thank you! read more

Not so good. My husband and I like to eat at Abblebee's, but never again at this one. We visited on a busy night in the last week of December 2017. Granted....they were busy. But come on folks....plan for a busy night. The place was packed; but really did not have to wait in line. Took forever to get our drink order. When we ordered our food we thought it might take awhile for the main entree so we ordered appetizers. We waited 40 minutes for our appetizers and main entree came with it. The food was cold and looked thrown on the plate. I was not impressed. Its Christmas week...people have off of work...people have company....they go out to eat!!!!!! This restaurant was not ready for a busy night. It's a SHAME, because we really do like Applebee's, but with other restruants to choose from in the area our choice will not be Applebee's. read more

Not sure what happened to this place. I'm not sure where to start. The staff has changed and always seems very frazzled and unorganized. Most have no Personality. You have to ask for refills on alcohol drinks which anyone knows working in this business that's your bread and butter. The wait seems longer for food. Worst experience ever!!! My family and I went for lunch and had the worst experience ever. From the start the server seemed to have some sort of attitude problem. She sat us at the high tables with our children. Which if your a good server you relaize that that's not a good idea. When we asked for a booth she paused and then exhaled and said I guess. Place has gone so far down hill it's almost below sea level. Not only do they serve cold food, but they don't come back once you get it, only to collect money like the government. The people behind us got a free bill because all 4 of their plates were cold, then what do you know our food comes out cold as well. The people who sat beside us and walked in ten minutes after us were being talked to by the same waitress we had about how she forgot to put their order in and how so sorry she is. September 28, 2016, 02:55 PM. Not many people in the restaurant. Counted 4 other couples when we walked in, had to wait a few minutes to be seated. No one at the counter to seat us. Almost walked out. Dirty floors and tables, chunks of food stuff on the floor in numerous places. Table top was sticky. Some strange game on the table that (PRESTO) is not FREE to use or play! Charged $1.99 to use/play it. Should be free!! Don't USE IT!!!! RIPOFF Wait staff is lazy. Was very slow in the restaurant and the only time anyone did any cleaning was when they came near our table. They should ALL be cleaning when business is slow. Poor management practices! Food was adequate. I had the Salmon plate, mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. Not bad. Jane had a sandwich that was very greasy. Beer was drinkable at $7.00. A bit expensive in my opinion. No desire to go back any time soon. Much worse than the last time I ate at this restaurant. I don't see why there's so many bad reviews. This has been my go to restaurant when I see my dad once a year. The food is affordable because he makes me pay. I wish I read the reviews first. This was the worst trip to an Applebee's I've ever had. Server seemed to try but was terrible. Ordered a wedge with the pecans on the side. First salad came with the pecans all over. Sent it back. She apologized and came back with another salad after 5-10 minutes. Looked ok but the blue cheese wasn't chunky at all. Well, it was ranch NOT blue cheese. So I told her to just forget about it. She asked if I wanted to talk to the manager about it. I said sure. She said she told the manager but he never came over. Kitchen was slow. Food took about 1hr. Said a big table got in front of us. Ok, maybe. So with the final bill she says "We took the salads off." No crap! I didn't eat one because the kitchen couldn't get it right. Avoid this place like the plague. They need to fire the manager and kitchen staff. read more

I ordered a soup and salad through thier car side take out, after 25 minutes of waiting I finally went inside to pick up my food, when I got home u realized that they put my soup inside the salad container which opened and dumped hot soup all over my salad.
