The brewpub occupies the rear of the gargantuan footprint of the old Anchorage. The best part actually, as it has the outside boardwalks with tables and the beautiful scenic view of Lake Sunapee. It was well attended by the boat crowd and boats were tying up as close as they could. Superb ambiance although limited food offerings. Still, Hoptimystic is tops on the beer scene.

Overall a superb time with wonderful people and great beer and superb food from across the street.... The only warning about the area is the parking situation. As the area (which used to be a blighted warehouse and industrial area) has become gentrified and dotted with apartments, the nearby Northern Stage Theatre, and numerous restaurants, parking has become an issue and customers should either arrive early or realize they may have to park several blocks away. Their offerings include several IPAs, pilsners, and hard seltzers. I tried their Rustic, New England IPA, a lighter flavored and yet delicious IPA, followed by their Tangerine Speedo, a citrusy, California-type IPA. My husband flavored the Jet Lag, a German-styled Pilsner, heavier than the ones at the Hoffbrauhouse, but nonetheless a most superb tasting selection. Food wise, their offerings are limited to cheese and crackers but their cheese is Vermont's Cabot. A worthy weekend experience

They are in the process of changing equipment and had to drain all their tanks. Bwaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! Now for the celebration: they had some awesome brews from local NH and VT establishments and they rocked. Plus: their food is amazing I had their empanadas and pulled pork tacos Service is superb. The two waiter persons we had were absolutely amazing And then there was the ambiance. Some of the best I've seen on a microbrew. We'll be back in a month or so. They will have their selections on tap and there is nothing more scenic than an active flight line.
