So far no complaints Service could be better took 15 mins for us to get the attention of a waitress, once she brought out 1 drink she disappeared for awhile I drank to margaritas they tasted delicious but no real alcohol content ( for $1 I can't complain) , got my food pretty good and waited another 10-15 mins no service Still waiting and not a single waitress in site. It was a comedy of errors. They had bottles out that looked like hand sanitizer which I used only to be told later that it was only for cleaning. my food was brought out but i couldn't eat my soup because there was the spoon. Applebee's has to be hands down one of my favorite chains. I usually love every item they have on their menu...especially the apps. I also usually am I love with whatever drink special they have. I mean c'mon they have 2 dollar budlight 16oz drafts...thats AWESOME at happy hour. I wish I could walk to an apple bee's. Anyways this place always has good quick service. Last time I went I ordred this delicious sizzling chicken queso dish and it was actually sizzling when it came out and it was delicious. While unmarked it was one of their lighter meals too! I do like that they have a lot of meals that are healthy and delicious. I hate the four items at the bottom of some menu's, this one has them sprinkled in all over the place. Really was looking forward to helping out the restaurant employees we ordered online, we selected the first available ready time for the order, I arrived 10 minutes before I was due to be there for pick up. I waited an additional 20 minutes past the selected ready time of 8PM. Upon arriving home with the 4 meals, the half rack of ribs must have been from a skinny pig, they were overcooked and barely any meat to them. The southwest chicken bowl was wrong, we asked for it without guacamole, it had no chicken, it had chunks of tough overcooked beef, guacamole wiped across the corner of the container. The burger was in fact tasty but had enough oil dripping from it to lubricate my chain saw. Just consider the last time I went there I swore I was not going to return because I went for one of their all you can eat features, and while I asked for an additional serving, I waited over 30 minutes and never received more. read more

The prices have really gone up and the service has gone down, they left out one total meal and two orders of French fries that should've come with meals. Apple Bees Grill+ Bar is an average based restaurant with average based quality. From the customer service, to the food being delivered. I'm no stranger to the local Grill/ Bar. In my opinion the food is slightly over priced due to the quality provided, if it was a bit cheaper. To sum it up, food prices and the quality of the food you are receiving do not add up. Would this be my first choice to dine out? Probably not. But if you're looking for a quick bite that serves better slightly more than a cheeseburger at McDonalds I'd say yes. read more

I don't know why, but I guess my dad kind of likes this place. I guess it has something to do with the appetizer and two entrees for $20 that he likes coming here with my mom. The food itself wasn't too bad, but it bode poorly when the wait-staff looked undermanned considering the entire restaurant was barely half-full. Their happy hour is excellent. Food was delicious and getting half priced drinks and apps was even better. Paula, our server was exceptional and was quick to fix the one small issue we had with our spinach dip. I've never been to this location but have been to several Applebees in the area. I can't understand why people go here to eat. It's not good food. We just play quick draw, drink and get a appetizer that is usually tasteless or is a microwaved item. Then we eat somewhere else. We also don't like that This location the manager likes to hug the waitresses in the dining room. Same manager last two times. Inappropriate And unprofessional. The bartenders are non smiling. Service at the bar is usually okay because they have two bartenders working most of the time. These will all be closed someday just like ruby Tuesday. Absolutely horrible. To start we asked the hostess to please clean the table she seated us at and she came back with a paper napkin, wipes it and said it's fine. Waitress was horrible, messed up order and acted like we were wasting her time. Heard her say to another table when they asked her to come back for something "Yeah I'll get back to you later. Hadn't been to Applebees for some time since my wife, brother and sister law and I had had more poor experiences than positive ones. Seeing that the building had been remodeled inside and out we had great hopes that it had improved in service and food as well. WRONG!! It was worse than ever! Waitress was totally stressed out and let us know that as she came to our table. Service extremely slow, food cold, not good, no utensils provided until pointed out to server. Trash and napkins under all the tables. Sauces that were ordered with the meal were not brought until I yelled at a server across the restaurant. Our waitress was not seen until she brought the bill at the end. That was also wrong and had to be re done. Since bought by IHop they have really gotten terrible. Go to Applebee's almost weekly (literally) and I now must say that I will not be returning anytime soon to this location or just the chain. I've visited Applebee's 3x the past couple weeks with a few close friends and had a horrible experience. The waiters are GREAT, but the quality of the food will ruin your experience. Overcook, burnt, over hour wait to receive your order incorrect and more. Don't worry though, the manager will be sure to included a $1 dessert for your troubles but nothing else. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at this particular Applebee's this week. I ordered the "New Napa Chicken and Portobello" entree, described as a grilled chicken breast, topped with portobello mushrooms and sauteed onions sprinkled with Parmesan cheese finished with a red wine sauce. A side of sauteed vegetables and roasted red potatoes. What arrived to the table was sauteed vegetables and red potatoes tossed together with white button mushrooms. To compound the problem, the mushrooms on one side of the plate were grilled, while on the other they were raw. Not undercooked. RAW. The chicken appeared fine, the onions had been stewed in an acidic wine sauce making them taste more like sauerkraut than onion and just if that wasn't enough, the food was cold. Of course no servers were to be seen until my two dining companions were almost finished with their meal that they were equally unhappy about. I never saw "riblets" with so little meat. Perhaps they should rename it bonelets. All in all, a terrible meal. Won't ever be going back! read more

I ordered online and used the "carside to go" options. I arrived at the time the meal was supposed to be ready. After waiting 15 minutes, I went in a picked up the meal from the bar. Next time, I would just go in directly because the food had clearly been ready but no one was monitoring it. They did not even know I was waiting. The Bourbon street steak was my order but it only had three mushroom slices. They did not put the butter or sour cream for the baked potato, even though I paid extra for them. So, while I typically have good experiences with Applebees, this site needs a lot of improvement for the online/carside process. read more

We will probably never go here again. We have an Applebee's in Fairport that we go to a lot. Staff is super nice there and food is always great. After 9PM, all appetizers are half price and actually cheaper than they were here. I think the appetizers here were bigger but we found out that there were only a few half priced, not many. It is cheaper to buy the $10 meal ( have to buy two which come with one free appetizer) than to buy two half-price appetizers per person. The service was poor. The person who showed us to a table asked us to sit somewhere else after we picked one of the larger booths. Our waitress was less than amiable. She forgot to ask us if we wanted their special drink and then said she had asked. All four of us agreed she didn't. (you get a free drink if they don't ask you). When we asked to change our order, she looked peeved. When we asked another person if we needed to pay at the register because our waitress had not come back to the table, she was abrupt and acted like we shouldn't bother her. We then asked about the using our Golden Apple card, which we always us in Fairport and she indicated that those cards are only good till 6 PM. Such a big difference between the two restaurants even though both Applebee's. Food was good for the most part which is why our review has two stars. Price was +2 and service -1. read more

if i can do 0 stars that would be perfect. my group of friends which was 7 of us went to applebee's & we walked in at 9 pm. they sat us down quickly & brought us our drinks & that was even bad because one of the friends ordered a sprite with lemon & they forgot the lemon. anyways so when we finally ordered our food it literally took an hour which makes no sense because people that came in after us got their food so much faster. it doesn't make sense even more because 6 out of the 7 people ordered THE SAME THING. when they finally brought out the appetizers we ate that because we were starving & they still didn't bring our food & this was going onto 9:30 & forward. when we asked the waiter how long it was going to be, he said "2 - 10 minutes", excuse me sir make that make sense for me. we finally got fed up & got up to leave & then he wants to bring our food. we said we didn't want it anymore because they took so long to get it. you would think they took so long because the restaurant was full but THERE WAS BARELY PEOPLE IN THERE. the waiter told us "the check was cleared have a nice night" mind you he said that with an attitude & walked off like okay. overall i will not be eating there ever again read more

My wife and enjoy the Applebee's 2 for $20 with the spinach artichoke appetizer. Our meals have always been quite good and substantial enough that we usually have a box to take home. The mango lemonade is delicious. Service has been adequate and reasonably attentive... Can't beat it for $20. read more

I am a somewhat of a regular customer here and was OUTRAGED to find out that my waiter STOLE nearly $25 off a gift card my boyfriend recieved for his birthday which we were celebrating on this particular night. Upon arriving to this location on Saturday, April 26th and being seated, I took out my ID to show our waiter when ordering a long island iced tea (I just turned 21 this year and am used to being carded). The waiter promptly told me not to bother because it was his last night. I was taken aback, but he was friendly so I didn't think too much about it. As time came for our bill (approximately $52), I took out the two brand new gift cards ($25 each) to cover the majority of our bill. Our waiter came back several minutes later to tell us we still owed approximately $25 as there had only been 28 CENTS on one card. I was extremely confused and asked him to refund that immediately because that could not be correct as the gift cards were new. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that he may have taken the money for himself, I guess I am naive and have too much faith in people. I called the number on the back of the card two days later to try to get to the bottom of this situation only to find out that the card had been charged for all but the 28 cents that was left on it. I am so upset that I was taken advantage of like that. Those gift cards were a GIFT and he just STOLE from us like it was nothing. Lied straight to my face. I feel incredibly stupid for not realizing what had happened sooner. read more
