Went to this Applebee's location with my boyfriend and his family for dinner! There was no wait and we were seated immediately. The service was good and our server was sweet. My boyfriend and I ordered their 2 for $25 Deal to share. We got the Classic Boneless Wings, 4-Cheese Mac + Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders, and Double Crunch Shrimp. The Classic Boneless Wings were really good! I would order them again! The Double Crunch Shrimp was ok it just tasted like regular crispy shrimp to me. We mainly ordered it since my boyfriend likes shrimp. As for the 4-Cheese Mac + Cheese I had high expectations since I love mac and cheese, but I was disappointed since it was too sweet with the honey pepper chicken... because of that I had a bit of trouble finishing it since I got tired of the taste halfway through the meal. I didn't like it too much, so I would order something else the next time I go. Other than that I would still come back to this location! I picked it up within 10 minutes of my call and I was greeted with sincere apologies and he even offered me a drink to make up for the mistake! Where do i begin? We waiting about 30 mins to be seated, while the location had many empty tables. The host failed to inform us that they were out of mostly everything in the menu. We finally get seated.. our waitress never greeted us nor offered drinks for a good 15 mins of us sitting there. I had to ask for my waitress to get assistance. Which is kind of ridiculous. Finally they let us know.. Hey we're out of basically everything.. after making us waste all that time. We finally get our food and we had to ask for our own utensils since they were not provided. My wife and I stopped in for an early lunch today. We were the first customers in. It's a nice, clean restaurant with good ambiance and comfortable seating. Our server was very nice and we certainly had no issues with her or any other staff. The food was decent too. No gripes there. I do have one point of constructive criticism, that is the impetus for this review. Upon receiving our food, after a few bites I realized that I was not given what I ordered. I ordered a clubhouse sandwich but received a grilled chicken sandwich. I thought about just eating what I had, but it really wasn't what I wanted so I decided to wait until our server came back around to let her know. Eventually she arrived, and she acknowledged that she had put in the wrong item, apologized, and set out to get it corrected. While I was waiting, the manager came around and offered his mea culpa, and assured me that the replacement food would be out shortly. He was very nice about it, and we downplayed the situation. It wasn't the end of the world. But here's my suggestion: in a situation like this, the manager really should offer some compensation to the customer. It could be a discount, a drink, or whatever is fitting. That is something should be AUTOMATIC and here's one example of why- By the time the manager spoke to us, my wife was finished with her food and wanting to leave; meanwhile, we still have to wait for my food to arrive and then for me to quickly scarf it down. She had skipped dinner the night before and was very hungry, and I certainly didn't want her to let her food sit on my account. Naturally, we had wanted to eat TOGETHER. Moreover, we had allotted a certain amount of time for lunch, time that ended up running way over. In order to finish our other errands due to the lost time, I ended up having to be a little late to work. So, in spite of the best of intentions there nevertheless ended up being a stick shoved into the wheel, so to speak. Mistakes are going to happen, and I just believe that it's important to make some gesture of goodwill beyond an apology, in order to make sure the customers doesn't leave with a bad taste in their mouths (no pun intended). And I know I've been going on about this but I'll mention that I feel I shouldn't have to be the one to ask them for something. Granted, there are people out there who are looking for a reason to get something for nothing and have no compunction, but to me it would be too uncomfortable to ask, and then I would worry that they're thinking I'm just trying to get over on them. So I'm not going to say anything or let on about it unless it's something really egregious, which in this case it was not. For us it came down to leaving the restaurant and talking negatively about how it went, whereas perhaps something as trivial as them comping the soda may have had us leaving on a more positive note. If I were the Applebees czar that's how I would want it handled every time. A small gesture could make all the difference. There are people out there who won't make a big deal about a problem, they'll pay and leave a full tip, but then will never go back. And the restaurant will never know that there was an issue or that they just lost future business. Again, this is not going to stop me personally from going back there, but the three stars I gave is appropriate, given the facts. And I hope the management will read my words and give them some consideration. read more

I guess I shouldn't talk as someone that had never stepped into an Applebee's up until this point, but I guess I will anyways. One of my old coworkers on our project team said he will go anywhere to eat, but he refused to ever step foot into an Applebee's. So, while he was out on day, we snuck in for dinner just because we could. The waitress was very nice and quick to get us anything we needed. We ordered drinks. I got an iced tea and she asked if they could make her a real cherry coke (w/ grenadine and coke). They brought her exactly what she wanted. The place was already doing better than I thought it wouldn. I got some fish dish & my coworker got an appetizer platter. It was pretty much the standard fare. Everything was fine, but nothing amazing. The waitress was once again quick to grab all the different sauces my coworker asked for. I was tempted to get a mini dessert, but my coworker sadly didn't want to join, so I didn't bother either. We left with full tummies and a small bill. I don't get all the hate! read more

She returned soon to say the ribs rack was unavailable and I had to change my order to riblets, which arrived way too thin! We got a refill of the Spinach dip appetizer without the Spinach! Salsa was there, but no spinach...come on kitchen!?! We arrived at this location on a busy Saturday evening at approximately 7 p.m. We had a party of three. Upon arrival, we were told we would have a 15 to 20 minute wait, however, we were seated just 5 minutes later. Fantastic! We were brought to our table and given menus by our sweet and friendly server, a gal named Mariela. We ordered our drinks and she brought them out promptly, and even took the time to brew two fresh cups of coffee, which arrived fast as well. We placed our dinner orders, as well as an appetizer order of salsa Verde beef nachos, and those were served up almost immediately. They were delicious, by the way, lots of cheese, crunchy tortilla chips, seasoned beef and crisp jalapenos. I was brought out my house salad at the same time, which a very generous portion of green leaf lettuce, cheese, chopped tomatoes and croutons. Dressing was served on the side, so you can control the amount of dressing you wish to place on your salad. Two of our party ordered the barbecue beef brisket tacos, which were served with french fries and cold coleslaw. The tacos were topped with deep fried onion strips, and contained pico de gallo, lettuce, fresh cilantro, and the beef brisket, which was seasoned with a wonderful Texas barbecue sauce. I ordered the grilled chicken breast and two sides of roasted veggies which were really tasty. My chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted really good. We all enjoyed our meals, and have to commend Mariela on her exceptional service. It was a busy Saturday night and she had many other patrons to service, however, she always had a smile on her face and was quick to refill our water glasses and coffee cups, and ask us if we were doing ok. I loved our waiter he was amazing. I think he's name was kason or something with a K. I wish I remembered it correctly. But not only was he the bomb he was a sweetheart. He was practicing his Spanish with my in laws to help them order. Nobody does that to be helpful. He was all over it and made our experience great. The manager came around and asked if everything was going good and to every single table too. Happy hour on a Sunday $1 margaritas and a few other things on the menu. I go to this place because Applebee's has a decent happy hour and one of the few places where I can get a margarita for under 5 bucks. However, generally anything outside of happy hour is below satisfactory. For example, I ordered a burger and fries from them and when I received it, the burger was slightly cold and it looked as though the chef meticulously counted and rationed out the fries because there were so little! My friend whom I was dining with even joked that I got a kids meal! I'm finding less and less reasons to come here unfortunately. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They have gone downhill so much, I will NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS APPLEBEES! First off, not enough servers, had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, not crowded, and only guests waiting until others came in and were being told 25-30 minute wait. Waitress didn't listen to my requests, no silverware to eat with until we got our horrible food. I had chicken wonton tacos, hardly any chicken, tons of cabbage, and cold. My son had the waffle fries which come with queso cheese, bacon and scallions according to the amazingly beautiful picture in the menu. We'll let me tell you they put a small amount directly in the middle and the rest were dry. I asked the waitress to fix it, so she decides to bring us more queso cheese,bacon and scallions in these tiny black cups for us to add to the waffle fries, their NEW item. That is unacceptable, PERIOD! My son got the quesadilla burger, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! My son didn't even eat it, and my daughter in law, had the chicken Alfredo that was warm and the breadstick was HARD! I'm not sure what these restaurants are coming too but I'm getting to the point where I'm not gonna eat out anymore. Applebee's shame on you and it wasn't worth my $65 dollars! I came to this establishment after a train ride to grab some food and a beer with my girlfriend. We got the buffalo wings to share as we didn't know whether to eat here or not. although, we like when we get our food fast, we got our wings within 3 minutes and they looked more like chicken nuggets with a spit of buffalo sauce. I ordered more sauce to get these nuggets to taste like wings and they brought out a decent size container with COLD sauce. Haha I can't.
