A friend and I stopped in for lunch on a whim. To be truthful, I was not expecting a 'great' meal, but knew it would be good. Well, this assumption was completely off in so many ways! Our waitress Hannah was great, she offered suggestions according to what kind of 'meal' we were looking for and she totally nailed it for us both! I got the New Pub Diet's Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken with Quinoa and it was a very satisfying lightweight meal full of flavor. My friend had the Thai Shrimp Salad and absolutely loved it too! Friendly staff, great ticket times (even on the weekend or during busy times), hot food, cold drinks and nobody beats price for the amount of quality food you receive. My friends and I stopped in for what we hoped would be a quick 1 hour dinner since we knew what we wanted and ordered right away. We all ordered off the 2 for $25. We got our salad then it took about 35-40 minutes to get our entree. During that time, our server did not stop at our table once. We didn't need him for anything but he was consistently looking our way but never stopped to check on us or apologized for the long wait. If we were in a hurry or really needed some more water we would've waved him down. About 30 minutes in, he looked at our table again and probably realized to think, maybe Ill go check on their order. 5 minutes later, our food came out, well, 3 out of the 4 orders came out. I ordered medium rare steak with fries and broccoli. Steak was barely even warm and so dry from probably sitting under the heat warmer or whatever the case was. My fries and broccoli was semi warm. My friend's medium steak was cooked and more dry than mines and her mashed potatoes were no longer hot. My friend's chicken and potatoes served on a sizzling hot skillet wasn't even sizzling when it came out. Then the last steak that was ordered by my other friend came out all piping hot and juicy and medium rare and her mashed potatoes were still hot and super tasty. Hmm, interesting. Our server came by and asked how everything was. I shrugged and said its fine. He knew something wasn't right because we were more cheerful earlier. I told our server our food was barely even warm. He did ask if we wanted something else but really, we already waited 40 minutes for our food after they took our salad plates away. Whether they were trying to pull a fast one to see if we would notice or say anything or they legit really didn't realize it, but I'm hoping they really legit didn't realize it. The manager even brought our food out too. Our server probably mentioned something to the manager and she came over to acknowledge what we said to our server and she apologized and said she would discount our bill. When we got our bill, we didn't expect the manager to comp a whole 2 for 25 meal. We still ended up tipping because whether it was the server or the cooks fault, we didn't expect to have them comp that much off. read more

Myself a friend and our daughter's went to this Applebee's location on 3/7. This was the worst experience we ever had! thanks to the server Matt & the manager Joann. We ordered our drinks ours came right away, but our daughter's icy lemonades came about 20 - 25 mins later! When we asked our server Matt why this was he said it's because the bar makes them, (well it went down hill fast!) After we put in our orders 45 minutes went past, as we watched customers come, order & receive their food! we flagged down our server Matt ( being her NEVER came back to the table) what's going on with our food? He said he would check on it, HE NEVER DID!!! Instead we watched in disbelief as he seated to more tables, got their drinks & took their orders and then cashed out another table! We were upset. I went to him and said give me the check we are leaving! I wanted to cash out our drinks. Instead of apologizing or something he said I will go and get the manager and send her to our table? So I went back to the table. We waited about five or ten minutes but she (Joann) NEVER came! So we went to her and we addressed our issues of us waiting at the table for her, and her not showing up. Her reason for not coming was (She did not know what area we were sitting in)???? REALLY!!! We explained what the problem was how MATT NEVER! Brought us our food, never coming back to our table, feeding other customers, taking other orders and so on... We could not believe the lies she started telling to cover up for him. JOANN is just as unprofessional & lied the rest of the time! She said well we are very busy and our food order JUST came up????? What the hell! Now who is really lieing? She was or Matt never put our food order in? Joann said we could stay and eat our food (on the house!) Plus it just got done (hot & fresh?) otherwise it would just go in the trash. We'll we decided to stay and within five minutes Joann brought our food. COLD AS HELL!!! We said we did not want it I said it's cold and I could not believe what she said to me ("Well it's not that cold") they both are idiots! we got up and left!. Myself or ANYONE else I know will NEVER! Eat there again! If this is the type of employees they hire. They have the best two employees, the server Matt & Joann the manager because I have NEVER seen two employees enjoy being unprofessional & telling lies... Good luck! read more

I ordered a glass a wine it arrived and it was noticed by the server it had a spider and web in the glass. They took it back to the bartender who took the wine and poorer the web and spider into a clean glass to give to me. I refused the glass and said I saw the bartender for the contaminated wine into a new glass. Two managers came by the table neither which offered to comp the wine. It was a $9.00 glass of wine. Everyone should go to a place like Applebee's once in a while. Dining here gives you a baseline reference to compare with other overpriced, industrial food complex, mediocre restaurants around town. Positives: Server Catherine-pleasant and hard working. Cold Newcastle Ale (tall- 6.29), Fried shrimp platter. My chicken-shrimp-lime/chipotle entrée had a chance but for the little naked shrimps swimming around. Negatives: Worst french fries around-even when served hot. They have an odd stale or non potato flavor. How do you mess up fries so bad that a teenager won't eat them? Boneless chicken wings appetizer- avoid. The expediter food delivery process needs work- a couple hot items were delivered at room temp. Sent em back. Dining environment: Crowded, tight seating arrangement-like coach seats on an airplane, nice lighting, plenty of TV's to watch NCAA's. I don't guess there is a lot of cooking going on at Applebees- more of a heat/fry/assemble thing going on. Ten years between visits is about right for me but the place was full on a Thursday night. read more

My wife and I dined this evening at your location to celebrate Valentine's Day. The waitress was very pleasant and promptly brought us our drink order and took our food order. What was unusual was the food never came until I spoke with a young lady and informed her that we would give it 5 more minutes and we would leave. She asked for our booth location and shortly after, our original waitress served our orders. My wife's chicken parmesan was cold which means the order sat on a counter somewhere in the kitchen and didn't get delivered promptly. So, I went back to the same young lady and told her now my wife's food was cold and I wanted a manager to come to our table. A another server who was passing by, interjected herself without even knowing what our situation was and said, "sir you need to work with your waitress". I was not addressing her nor did she do anything to help fix our situation. A manager dressed in pink came to our table and I explained everything and told her another waitress told me I should be working with my waitress and no one else. The manager promptly said she would comp our entire meal. However, we still did tip our original waitress 25% of what the value would have been because she was apologetic and kind and we realized someone dropped the ball in delivering our food promptly. I asked the manager for a personal apology from the other server who was not ours and was not polite to me. She never came to our table but on the way out, I said to her to stay out of our business when it came to resolving our problem because I was not addressing her. She asserted I yelled at the help and that is simply not true. I was firm because it took me too separate conversations before a manager came to my table. If I was out of line, I sincerely apologize because getting a meal for free was not our intent but it was a reflection of how we were treated. We will come back because this was an anomaly but my wife and I left wishing we never came there. Your manager and server both made it good but the other server who had nothing to do with our table argued with me in front of other seated customers. She did say "have a good night" and abruptly left without an apology. I hope to get a chance to make this right for everybody because perhaps I could have handled things differently except this was a bad evening which has never happened at your location before. read more

If I could give a negative rating, I would. Last night my wife and I went there to eat and we were seated right away along with six other people. Right after we sat down, two other tables were seated, one on each side of us. The place was busy but we sat there for 25 minutes and not one person even acknowledged us - in any way. The table to our left , seated after us, was taken care of right away. As we waited for someone to bring us water, we saw no less than five employees walking around. We finally decided to leave and my wife told the young greeter that we waited and no one came over and to let him know our table was open. He then looked at my wife - in front of other customers - and said "whatever." Never again will we go to Applebees. We have others to choose from that give excellent service, like Claddagh's. read more
